  • I am living in terror of my own government they have gone mad.

  • Congress always trying to fix what is not broken. There are far more important issues to worry about and hold sessions for, instead of wasting time because of your unnecessary and unjustified paranoia. Seriously, stop while you're ahead and before it's too late

  • I think American won the battle of Afghanistan against war or terror but lost the bigger war...The moment obama signs that bill is the moment Al Qaeda wins the war.

  • What is really sad about this bill is the fact that most Americans don't even know about it .... You can ask just about any person on the streets and they have no idea what is really going on in our Gov. This bill is just a start to a bigger and horrific plan God help us all.

  • @satinspringsarabians - absolutely correct - Americans on the whole no nothing about this Bill nor the vote to take place tomorrow. The people of the ME know more about the bill thanks to Al Jazeera than we Americans know here in our own country. The main stream corporate media is doing Americans no favors by not reporting this widely. Shame on our Congress and our media.

  • This is what we mean in America, when we talk about Civil Rights and the inherent rights of all people, as we claim our right to invade other Countries and bring "Democracy" to the world.

  • Talking about state attempts to prevent terror is so absurdly beside the point. It really shows the desperation of the small sector of corporate power that defines policy to maintain their control at all costs. If a state can no longer control what people think, as is increasingly becoming the case here, it has to revert back to authoritarian control of the populace to beat them back into complacent submission.

  • This would set very dangerous precedence. I haven't heard of a congressionally declared war. The White House already does what it wants and Congress allows the Pres. without the checks and balances the Constitution provides for. Congress is derelict in their duties and the oath they all take to make sure the laws they pass are constitutional. What ever happened to making sure bills meet constitutional muster? I think Obama assured us all when he was running for Pres. that this would take place.

  • Sebastian Gorka, actually, not Walker. Anyway, a lively and intelligent discussion about a topic of immediate and vital interest. Go on, Shihab.

  • to bad the us media is not so forth coming - great job

  • expect another govt sponsored false flag coming soon to a city near you....

  • Vote the asshats in Congress & Senate OUT!

  • @HusseinSatire That would be great but now try and find enough honest people to replace them . Or that wont become crooks after there in. Ron Paul has been in Congress long enough to show that he is true to his word and to the Bill of Rights. He votes by the Constatution every time.

  • 1984 indeed. Ron Paul is perhaps the last bastion of hope for the US.

  • The enemy will have one if this bill passes , this bill is as un American as it gets.

  • @wtf0804 un is right more like UN if you know what I am saying. One world Gov United Nations.

  • 09:45 "Anyone who accuses me of being pro-dictatorship had better watch their words." Wow. you really can't make this stuff up.

  • @LiberaLib

lol, yeah I love how he claims he isnt pro dictatorship while threatening those who claim he is.

  • this congress is openly hostile to the Constitution. They should be deemed enemies of the United States of America and treated accordingly.

  • @LiberaLib The DC Ziofascist/Terrorist Elites are only trying to protect their own asses against the wrath of the rest of the world...& especially the wrath of the American people. The Joo media keeps propagating the myth that the "choice" is between freedom & security...as if they're referring to Americans. It's about security for ZioFascists only...always has been. They need to be taken out, physically & morally.

  • @LiberaLib - Absoutely!

  • @LiberaLib They should all be thrown in Prision starting with Obama first.

  • guy on the left is a neo-con

  • if obama signs the bill, america will have officially lost it's war on terror.

  • @ufster81 there never was any "war on terror".

  • @ufster81 If the congress voted the bill into a law, it will become a law anyway with or without the president's signature unless he's strongly opposing the bill then he will veto it, so dont drag Obama into this.

  • WITHOUT LIBERTIES AMERICA WILL NOT BE THE U.S.A.

  • 1984 is here

  • Fighting wars against terror while its war that's terrorising

  • We have no War declared by Congress, therefore, we don't have War and this can not legally be applied. The bill sections that refer to detaining US Citizens is Unconstitutional as well, and clearly can not be legally enforced under any circumstances, and the Sheriff's of every county in the US need to stand up and say NO to any attempts to military intervention in their counties. The Sheriff is the Highest Law Enforcement Officer of the land, and even the President can not over-ride him!

  • Hutson is one of the global enemy

  • "The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite. The former will be exercised principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation and foreign commerce. ... cont

  • @dapop1001 The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all the objects which in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives and liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement and prosperity of the State." — James Madison Author of the American Bill of Rights.

  • haha, the government checks ur emails anyways, the bills are just there when they get caught doing it to have some laws in place !

  • "The means of defence agst. foreign danger, have been always the instruments of tyranny at home. Among the Romans it was a standing maxim to excite a war, whenever a revolt was apprehended. Throughout all Europe, the armies kept up under the pretext of defending, have enslaved the people." — James Madison
