• he provides no stats or facts to back up what he's stating. how could you people elect someone so stupid???

• Fuck the U.S dumb.....make health care for the Public so every one gets health care.... GO CANADA

• Go Bush. He's taken such beatings for the truth.

• I am sitting here now, after 4am, thinking I should go to the emergency room, due to it being hard to breath. I have no medical insurance at all, and am afraid I can't afford the bill they will give me if I go.

• He aint so bad, better than Obama

• i hope george w. burns in hell for a really long time

• Um, atomsmasher, all he is saying is as a country, it is better for the world to invest in the private sector rather than public (gov't healthcare), are you too dumb to hear him clearly say that?

As you can see, obama is making everything in the public sector and look at the economy (almost 10% un-employment)

• gwb is still popular in the south and midwest

• huh... exactly why OH and FL went democratic. ugh, you represent the a huge number of ignorant people in America. you are people are so dumb it's pathetic. just ignoring ALL the FACTS and I never know why. There isn't anything wrong for being smart and educated.

• They need to know that somebody is not getting the same thing they are getting. They need to believe that they are more important than those "other people."

• Conservatives can't appreciate health insurance if they think everybody else gets it too.

They need to know somebody somewhere is poor. It makes them feel good.

• haha, so true.

• Thanks for your insight, O Wise One. Any other nuggets of wisdom about how people who disagree with you are just clearly evil?

• @Atomsmasher777 Did you listen to anything he said in the video? We take care of poor people through medicade, we take care of seniors with medicare. Do we really need the government to take care of everyone?

• what an asshole

• I wouldnt mind paying taxes for my fellow compatriots as long as they are willing to do the same for me.

• They already have something like that. It's called... uh.... oh yeah, private insurance.

• uh...oh are u choking on dick

• at least we are not going to look at your medical history to find an excuse to deny your benefits to good health.

• So true!!!! We need universal healthcare!!! I totally agree, please support my progressive cause by subscribing to my videos and friending me, in addition to commenting on my Youtube videos. Thanks a lot guys, I appreciate it. As Noam Chomsky points out, if we work together through activism, bit by bit, small drops of water can erobe the biggest of boulders made out fo solid rock, we can weaken the grip large private tyranical corporations have over us.

• What it mean is that it is hard for people who take socialized medicine for granted to comprehend the brutality of market medicine.

• Yes, it is indeed a terrible selfish attitude. And as such a psychopathic attitude. In reality most people despise the thought of a fellow man being required to pay for medical services. That's the impact Michael Moore has had on Western Europe. Most of us weren't aware of what were up against until we saw Sicko. And believe me, extremely few Western Europeans left the movies without a " Thank God we don't live in America". Sicko was a complete shock of reality.

• 01mclaren

You are a living proof that it's not a reasonable argument to claim that socialized health care will fail because nobody wants' to pay taxes for a fellow human beings medical services. In fact negligence of your fellow mans well being is a typical trait for psychopaths.

• Bush is so a slave for corporate welfare! Go see my George W. Bush impressions on my profile. They will DEFINITELY MAKE YOU LAUGH!

• The gas is too high, it's Bush's fault. The housing marking it's down, it's Bush fault. Never mind it started when every American was trying to flip a House and make money.

STOP MAKING EXCUSES, It is wise to direct your anger towards problems - not people; to focus your energies on answers - not excuses

• Some one gave me the finger while driving today, it's Bush's fault. My coffee was too hot today, it's Bush's fault. American's are too fat, it's Bush's fault. Hurricane Katrina was Bush's fault. He talked to God and made it happened.

• My nails broke it's Bush's fault. I have cramps today it's Bush's fault. One of my fake boobs leaked, it's Bush's fault. It raining today, it's Bush's fault. I got to work late it's Bush's fault.

• They're just telling ideological stories because they refuse to admit to the fact that the market doesn't work very well within the health care industry. The cold war is over. Communism isn't an issue any more. Now we should sit down and look at practical solutions that works for the best. In some areas the government is actually better at handling things than the market. Not all, but some. And health care is definitely one of them.

• His suggestions address the issue of changing the system but none would have any effect on the reducing the cost of healthcare or the inability of those with a lower income to afford it.

• have we become so weak that we require the government for everything?

• Can you operate yourself if you get cancer or break your leg?

• OMG! You honestly need to have health insurance to deduct taxes? Are you kidding me? This man is crazy! So if we don't have enough cash for health insurance, oh that means we get even less money! This system sucks! Our youth need to know whats going on! Let's see what they think! This is bull shit! So the rich can get even more money, but the poor get less? That makes sense! NOT!

• Insurance and pharmaceutical companies are two of the largest sectors of the US economy - and health insurance companies in particular stand to lose their primary source of profit once a single-payer system is instituted in the US.

Therefore, it isn't surprising to see that health care-related industries are some of the largest contributors to political campaigns. They have a direct financial interest in maintaining the basic status quo.

• When did my country become so thick that it could ever call a man like this "president"? The republicans owe us a big apology but I'm not feeling very forgiving....

• well no shit we pay for it in our taxes ,the point is when you really need medical attention immediately you get it imediately, you dont have to swing out 60 thousand on the spot or later, just wait till you actually go through something life threatening and you see how you are treated under your system

• you might spend a couple hours with a none life threating injury but if your life or health is in danger you get helped in the hospitals immediately for free in Canada,no matter how much america trashes Canada we still got it better than the states

• ........... Canada, Austrailia, Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Finland, France, Germany, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Spain, Belgium, Holland. Need I name more? I'm serious. You can look at GDP but it doesn't mean shit if the poor are left off far worse... I'm sorry but those countries have a higher quality of life than Americans in the US can ever dream of.

• the US government tries to find them a job but what ends up happening is that no one will hire them and so they end up having to commit a crime just to eat for that day thus end up back in prison.

• I can't believe this guy is President.

• Everything in that speech made sense and yet people still have a hard time understanding why universal health care is bad. Why do people think that they are entitled to "free" health care? The poorer people in this country that cant afford health care will benefit yet the healthy americans will be footing the bill for the ones that have consistently made poor choices through out there lives.

• We are the country with the least health insurance... In the world! For all the other countries, it seems to be working very well that they get free insurance. Everyone should be covered, whether it be through taxes or something better. Do u know how much we r spending on the war? billions every week. Just 1 month less in Iraq, and evryone would have insurance for a straight year. Think about that.

• And its not the Big Macs and cigarettes that are responsible, its the people that CHOOSE to purchase those goods and consume those goods that are responsible for their own health. If someone makes poor life choices then they should be held accountable by paying higher premiums. Consequences are a bitch but thats free will for you.

• USisBEST: Sounds like a guy who really doesn't know what living in a free country is.

You stir up hell when services are run by the government because of fear-mongering. Instead you insist on handing it over to corporations who have more rights then the citizens. Insane.

• Profits don't create jobs. Profits enrich shareholders. WORK creates jobs. There are jobs when someone has more work to do than they can do without assistance, or work of a kind that they do not have the skills or time to accomplish, so they pay someone else to do it. Maybe you could explain the difference between profit & profit margins.

• And what if you never smoked, never drank, DID take care of yourself and you still get cancer?

• To whom is this addressed? I didn't see anyone here complaining that they are entitled to free healthcare because they chose bad relationships. Continue your "rational debates"? I'm still waiting for you to START a rational debate. You seem to be debating imaginary posters making imaginary statements!

• When a hospital's main goal is to make a profit: something is wrong. They will work for the money, not for the patient.

• agreed, and also when news agencies are profit driven, the public right to information is put in grave danger. The free market is great, but some institutions should be kept, at least to some extent, outside of the realm of the free market. especially service industries that are necessary for modern survival.

• Hey man, I just want you to open you eyes before opening you mouth, okay. If any of your rich CEO's have done as terrible job as Bush, I don't think they would've lasted ONE year or even ONE quarter of year. So if you just love his personal wars and lies which made you rich on expense of OTHER people's blood, then FUCK YOU!

The whole world knows that Bush is an absolute moron. What whole entire world doesn't understand is, WHO VOTED FOR HIM. Well, I guess he represent the MOJORTY!

• Why do you need an insurance company to take care of YOU? Pay your own medical bills, instead of spending your money subsidizing the healthcare of others & paying exorbitant salaries to greedy corporate executives.

• There are fascists right here in America who would put liberals, Muslims, homos, etc. to death because of Americans' own irrational nationalism & FANATICISM to: 1) an economic system based on making as much money as you can no matter how destructive you are while doing it; 2) their distorted faux "Christianity"; 3) their unquestioning allegiance to a political party or leader, or all of the above.

• President Bush is right about this. He is intelligent, and what he says about pricing is exactly right.

Compare this with Michael Moore's propaganda, and it is easy to see who is being honest, and who is a liar.

• He is intelligent??? Because you make affirmations doesn't make them true. You have given no evidence of the errors in Moore's film or of the truth of Bush's statements. I suppose we should just ignore all the evidence of the failure & incompetence of this man, the increasing numbers of the uninsured & of working families slipping into poverty, our national debt, & every other effect of his disastrous policies over the last 6 years, & believe he is smart & "exactly right", because YOU say so!

• You have obviously not traveled in Europe. There are many countries with healthcare that is accessible to EVERYONE equally that is as good as or better than the U.S. If you eliminate the profits of GREEDY hospital administrators & other CEOs, insurance companies, advertising agencies, & other "capitalist" concoctions that bog down American healthcare, then all those BILLIONS of dollars could go directly into ACTUAL HEALTHCARE.

• Stupid asshole, Russia is no longer a Communist country! Have you been under a rock since 1989?

• The TOWN hires a private company for fire protection. And where does THE TOWN get the money to do that? From you, I'm guessing, through taxes. Do YOU get to CHOOSE the contractor?

• I don't think taxpayers should be paying for the George & Laura Bush's healthcare or Dick Cheney's, etc. After all, that's a govment program & they believe in PRIVATE healthcare plans. Dick Cheney is also a high risk because of the bad decisions he has made in his life that have led to his heart problems. I don't want MY money going to Dick's healthcare! They can afford to pay for their own care instead of mooching off taxpayers!

• Some people already do...which is why they don't GET healthcare, because they have to do things like eat & feed their children. You want people to work until they drop dead so that others can live in luxury off their labor, but you don't want those who have benefitted most from this society to give something back from their hoarded wealth to make life a little easier for hard-working people.

• He doesn't beat the shit out of them at first. Like the Bush administration, everything seems okay at first, but there is a gradual erosion of civil liberties, human rights, adherence to the law, accountability & oversight, etc. & an increasing abuse of power. Women stay in relationships like that for the same reason the American people haven't driven these abusive fascists from office.

• Then you better start voting out all those selfish, greedy, everyone-for-himself Republicans in Congress who have repeatedly cut funding 4 services 4 vets, & help elect those horrible LIBERALS who ACTUALLY care about vets & have fought to provide for their NEEDS instead of just honoring them with WORDS & using them as political props, as the RePIGlicans in power do, all while cutting their funding so more money can go to war-profiteering private companies.

• because they come from third world countries. While there are other first world countries that are actually a bit better than the US.. the US is great for business, and this is why people move here, but if you want to live in a country that is great for citizens then you move to western europe or Canada or Japan or S.Korea.

• But surely homewners insurance is only a scam by lazy liberals who want honest hardworking people to subsidize their bad choices, like they probably smoke pot in bed and stuff. Real conservatives don't carry insurance because they know that bad things mostly happen to people because of bad decisions, and they're not stupid like liberals are. Most people with insurance just have cause they want to freeload.

• So I take it you don't have health insurance. After all, it's expensive, and since you take care of yourself and will therefore never get sick, I'm sure don't want to be subsidising the bad choices of others who do get sick (that's all insurance is-a big scam for giving money to freeloaders who make bad decisions).

I admire you for living your convictions like that.

• Great point, crunchyfrog! So, USisBEST, if you have insurance, why would you want to have YOUR money go into a fund to pay for OTHER PEOPLE'S BAD CHOICES?? Why don't you just save your money and pay for it yourself. Aren't you self-sufficient? Aren't you responsible for your own health & EVERYTHING that happens to you?

• women screw over men in this fashion also..

• "their poor choices in life"... You mean, like getting old? Like leaving a husband that beats the shit out of you? Like keeping a baby instead of having an abortion after you have been raped? Like losing everything you have in a fire, or going bankrupt paying medical expenses due to an accident, a child with a congenital defect, or the "choice" to go fight in Iraq & come back with brain damage?

• "...get out there and excerise..."

Yes because that is a well know preventative technique for a brain tumour.

• PS - I understand a perfect free service is not feasible. But the point I'd like to make is the apparent lack of caring for others.

PPS - Globalisation and Americanism, thanks to Blair, is at an all time high in England. And the NHS is undergoing major changes.

• (TWO OF TWO) We have the NHS because ALL BRITS worry about their health, and NOT the cost of it. I will never pay for ANY operation, treatment, advice, or over £6/$10 for ANY medication. Nor will a homeless man, nor a single mother without a job, and not even a foreigner, you, if needing to visit our 'social' system.

What is the cost of and peace of mind for you, AND EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN YOUR COUNTRY?

• (ONE OF TWO) I'm British. I receive care through our NHS, National Health Service. We pay slightly higher tax. We can get private care if we choose.

Why don't Americans support Universal health care? Is it merely a money issue? If yes, that reason is insane. In the richest country where most believe in God, the Bible and it's teachings, you seem to have skipped the 'help your fellow man' bit.

• We Americans hate each other too much to support universal health care, which you can see from the comments here. Most of us would rather die or face ruin, rather than face the risk that some of our money might go to help a fellow citizen. It's the American way, and I'm sure that it's what Jesus would want.

• cruchyfrog63 - "it's what Jesus would want."

:-)

USisBEST - Name says it all...

• ABOVE IS MY 2 PART POINT OF VIEW.

First, think about this. The person in charge of YOUR country says in this video he is against government supported Health Care for everyone. Your country wants you to pay. You have no choice...

• I can't believe I'm saying this but the way the Health Care system is in the U.S. isn't Bush's administrations fault. It's been this way for decades and decades. The last time someone tried to reform it was from before President Carter. To put all this on Bush isn't accurate. Should they have addressed this in the first term ? Yes definately, but what other administration in the past couple decades made reforming the health care system their number 1 priority?

• It is *not* the Bush administration's top priority! Their top priority is making war & enriching the already wealthy. Didn't Hillary Clinton work hard for a national health care plan when she was First Lady? That seemed to be her focus.

• It wasn't the Clinton administrations first priority, it was on her agenda but not a top of the administrations priority list. Reforming the social security system was their #1 priority before Clinton got impeached.

• haha. yeah tell that to the guy who has to pay 60 grand to reattach a finger...or the lady who died on the floor of a hospital...or ppl who have brain tumors, cancer, diabetes...etc. The ppl who support the current health care state are.... suprise....healthy ppl.

• lol, that's funny. Is the world screwed up or what?

• What the fuck do private jets have to do with health insurance? The way some GOP minds work is amazingly twisted....

• Yeah, we have to constantly turn away the English, the French, the Germans, the Swedes, they all hate their national health care services. They want the freedom to be socked with a 20K bill for a long hospital stay, or to be denied health care by an insurance company. That's freedom! That's liberty!

• Freedom means being able to CHOOSE your own doctor, your own treatments, your own medicine.

Medical care has ALWAYS been expensive. Jesus talked to a woman who had spent all her money on doctors, and they still had been unable to cure her.

• "If you want to help someone do it yourself instead of asking the Government to do it for you."

mabe the government should hire a nanny for all the liberals.

• "A study by the University of MD showed 67% of Fox viewers believe Saddam was behind 9/11"

who cares saddam can go die. oh wait thats right he got hung.

• "Countries that have socialized medicine would not trade it for what we have for anything."

rofl yea countries that will never figure out how to cure anything themselves wouldnt want to have our healthcare system. i live near the mayo clinic and i tell you we will find the cure for a lot in the future. I highly doubt if any other country will ever be able to figure out what we can here.

• bush sucks.. anyone who likes him is a sinner

• Jay Leno defined Bush's approval rating as 6% B.C!

And that's not the B.C you're thinking of, it actually means below Carter!

pwned? :O

• It seems to me the opposite of "private health" would more immediately by "public health", rather than "government controlled health". Fucking word games.

• Of course everyone should have access to health care, but I get this feeling that most believe the public system is better for everyone and that is simply not true

• well once you get sick enough you can't work anyway, and probably cant afford all of your bills by then. so yeah tax deductions are great if your healthy, which defeats the point. one point you should consider.

• POST 2 - cancer, check-ups, x-rays). The government will never fund treatment for ailments that are rare - it's a waste of money. Therefore, if you have a rare ailment in Canada, you wait and wait and wait for the necessary treatment to finally be delivered to you by the gov't, or you hop the border to the states to get it instantly. I am not saying that a private health care system is any better. I am just saying there should be a happy medium between the two - such as in Ireland

• POST 1 I don't agree with most things this man says. But a completely public health care system (like in my home, Canada) is not the answer. Before you start flaming me, listen - doctors that work for a public health care center are not accountable to the patient - they are accountable to the gov't. That's who is paying their paycheck. Public health care works well for you as long as your ailment is common (flu,

• So you would rather have the doctors answer to CEO's?

Government control of services makes more sense because politicians are easier to hold accountable.

Just because it's your opinion doesn't make it a fact.

I'm a Canadian and find our health care system very good. I have Colitis, Asthma, rupturing my achilles, and various other ailments.

Anyone who has seriously studied this topic knows which system is better.

• no, I would rather have doctors that answer to the patient's their treating. I am sorry to hear you are so sick, but you are lucky that your ailments are not rare for if they were, you would be on a waiting list that may cause you to look elsewhere for your health care. I feel strongly about this because two members of my family fall into this category.

• The most effective way to restrict democracy is to transfer decision-making from the public arena to unaccountable institutions: kings and princes, priestly castes, military juntas, party dictatorships, or modern corporations

• yeah cuz like...the insurance company is doing one heck of a job taking care of americans. 47 million can't afford it...and the rest get denied treatment that could save their lives. GOOD JOB THERE INSURANCE COMPANIES WHO JUST WANT TO MAKE PROFIT OFF OF DYING PEOPLE!

• "Yeah, if you get cancer, it's your own damn fault!"

Fucking backwards moron. Lunch is waiting between your mom's legs.

• Bush is just a figure head. Its his entire administration and the work done under him thats fucked up. He isnt one man making decisions all by himself...its his administration.

• The man is a menace to society and a shameful, evil "human being" who doesn't have a clue how the rest of us really live. Congress needs to get some balls and impeach this lying crimmal...AND if they don't the American people need to get some balls, take to the street and demand his impeachment.

• Bush is dead wrong. The basic problem isn't that people aren't being selective about when they choose to get health care, it's that they're being too selective, and as a result, they don't get the preventative care that's necessary to head off much more expensive conditions down the line. Routine health care is much cheaper than emergency health care.

• Sure, his friends have access to health care. Nobody else matters but his cronies. They've done very well over the last 7 years. The rest of us can suck it, apparently.

• terrible.

• well all the mexicans are getting free health care and amercans got fuked

• if the president wants to redeem himself, he should abolish all the private insurance companies.

• oh no, bush is sounding really smart, wtf

• This is a comparison over the first 4yrs ONLY. I really don't know how he kept his job? Median household income, change Clinton: +1.7% per year Bush: -1.6% per year Number of Americans in poverty (average change per year) Clinton: -800,000 Bush: +1.5 million Number of Americans without health insurance Clinton: +145,000 Bush: +1,885,000 Federal surplus/deficit (annual average): Clinton: +$5 billion Bush: -$350 billion Clinton: 1 blow job Bush: Choked on Pretzel
• that bastar-

the rich they just get richer

the poor get poorer so how he wants to develop health care if there is still millions of poor people .

• Liberty has two first names RON PAUL 2008!!

• If you were anyway familiar with micro or macro-economics you would understand this speech. It was an economic speech that happened to touch on health care, there were no definate plans or stands made by Bush's administration in this speech.

• Right, but please tell me there aren't people that still support this nutjob administration.

• I swear to god, we americans are world most gullible people and the government knows exactly how to play us. Comparing socialized healthcare to the likes of communism depicts the height of our ignorance and gullibility. We spent billions on invading a country without a proper reason, u think we cant put togather a good healthcare system with that money?

• If healthcare is socialized, there will still be plenty of private institutions where the really rich people can go to. But there still needs to be a socialized system which replaces the current healthcare system we have in place - which is nothing but a big SCAM!!

• my parents are from Bangladesh, which is a third world country most Americans haven't heard of. In a country like bangladesh they have socialized medical system with government hospitals etc which reduces costs of being hospitalized dramatically.

• He's been in office all these years and he's just NOW talking about health care?

• yup his pocket are full of cash ...

• got to cut taxes by cutting spending, and allow the free market to control medicine 100%

if i dont have to pay 1/3 of my paycheck to income tax, i could then affod health care... ahhhh neat

• If you are paying 1/3 of your income in taxes, you CAN afford healthcare. BTW, when you buy heath INSURANCE you aren't buying HEATHCARE. The free market has given us pharmaceutical ads on TV. To provide better care? Nah, just to make more money for the drug companies. The free market has become this country's IDOL.

• I don't see people from France or any other country with a national health care system trying to sneak into this country in order to partake of our health care system (which is ranked 37th in the world). 37th is not the best, but then, you Republicans were never good at math.

• UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE NOW!!

Click on my name, to see my flagged anti-Bush video.

Powerful.

Hated by censors.

Loved by others.

Leave a comment, to let me know what you think...

• bush's answer for health care is dont get sick

• what does that have to do with THIS video

• Bush is such an idiot and so out of touch. I am continually amazed and embarrassed by his idiotic and privileged approach to life. I agree with papipablo, I wish we could send him to an emergency room so he could see what the real world is like.

• I wonder have much is cost to get a bacterial infection? Maybe E. Coli? I have an idea, why don't we charge the microbes for making us sick!

• Someone should send him to an emergency room.

• God help us if the government gets their slimy grip on all of health care.

• I dont see where he states the health care issue is our fault. He dose say he would like to change the system so that we are more responsible for ourselves. I dont believe in a welfare state and sure its better than HMO's but is it the best we can do? No, we can do better and for once bush is pointed in the right direction. Vote for Ron Paul and you will finally see positive changes in healthcare and government.

• Safe from snoopers? Bush is the king of snoopers.

• The majority of Americans are in favor of universal healthcare, and have been for the last 1/4 century (look at polls on this issue). I thought America was a democracy...

• Sorry compassionaterepublican (oxymoron!) but the facts do not match up to your pathetic propaganda

US healthcare is 37th in the world (now, I mean the REAL WORLD of course, not Carl Rove world) and we spend more than anyone else. Now, who benefits from this? You and your family? No - I repeat, 37th in the world.

Get a brain

• your an idiot

• How much does US healthcare really cost us? Co-pays + deductibles + premiums + what bosses subtract from what you should be earning because his business provides "benefits" + what you pay for those uninsured who go to ER every year + increased cost of benefits to American Industries + loss of competitiveness of US in world market because of these costs + profits for insurance and pharmaceuticals

• FYI: ...our "bosses subtract from what you should be earning.." Your company is paying for that too, not just you. The "benefit" that they provide you is that YOU don't have to pay the full cost, your company pays a big chunk of it for you. Get your facts straight!

• come check out my videos on how to get a free xbox 360 or iphone if you use my link and sign up i will pay you

• What a douchebag

• European countries have government funded healthcare and I don't think the US could handle that type of switch. Especially when Bush and his cronies make money off it! Who is going to ask for Bush to STOP LYING!

• why dont u talk about building 7 and sending the troops out , why dont u send ur own son out instead of drinkin tea in your little office

• blame alqida for the health problems u seem to blame the muslims 4 everything

• AMERICAN IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

• As much as I hate that Douchebag he is right. If you smoke and drink your whole life and eat nothing but McDonalds and Twinkies. It is your fault. Smarten up people. Take care of yourself because we all know nobody else will.

• My G/F is American and when she had a bust up knee, she had to suffer it, because she could not afford it even with a job. It was fix her knee or be homeless. Pretty sick really. The U.S is supposed to be a Christian country, yet I don't recall Jesus saying, I will only heal you if you give me money or profit.

• Socialists tuggin on our heart strings to get us to enslave ourselves with socialized medicine! NO!!!

FREEDOM and LIBERTY! FREE MARKETS! Demand that Doctors put their prices on a menu and give them out just like ANY OTHER BUSINESS!!

• i didnt vote for that idiot...i am still trying to figure out who did though!!! **looks at vid to identify what idiot voters look like**

• CrooksandLiars,

We will NOT have socialized medicine!! I don't care WHAT you leftists are calling it!! FREEDOM and LIBERTY.

• Freedom to die from a neglected health problem because you can't afford a doctor! Freedom to pay 50K dollars for an emergency room visit or long stay at a hospital! Freedom to pay exorbiant prescription drug prices! Glory, glory hallejulah!

• Freedom to die from a neglected health problem because you "can't afford a doctor! Freedom to pay 50K dollars for an emergency room visit or long stay at a hospital! Freedom to pay exorbiant prescription drug prices!"

so buy some health insurance then unless u r stupid.

• I have health insurance. I'm one of the lucky ones. Some people can't afford health insurance. And some who have it, the insurance companies refuse to pay claims. The problem, I think, is a little too complicated for you.

• Bush...go back to hell! nothing but trash, that's what people are that not care only about themselves and are willing to harm and kill many to get what they want. Shame on the Bush's whole fucking gang.

• "that's what people are that not care only about themselves and are willing to harm and kill many to get what they want. "

ya your right lets just flush the country down the shitter trying to save everyone because they cant take care of themselves. lets just say fuck the whole thing.

• bush just doesn't get the point. "Private" insurance needs to be iliminated because they are in a "bussiness" for profit. And in a business you need to maximize income, and if you deny coverage you are a being a good business. simple

• Impeach Pelosi & Reid. Their approval ratings make the President's look good.

The liberal-born Ponzi Scheme's of Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid have now inflicted enough pain, suffering, and hyper-inflation that Liberals can (shamelessly) point to the damage they've done as 'evidence' of the need for more of their 'help'. It's a classic pimp-whore relationship -- reject their filth.

Hint: Cubans don't dislike 'Sicko' Moore's beloved Cuban healthcare, they ESCAPE it.

• I can't wait to LEAVE the US for good! Bush you are a tool!

• The corporate lobby in Washington is basically designed to stifle all legislative activity on behalf of consumers. Ralph Nader

Time to ruffle the feathers of your Congressional representatives, America! DEMAND Single payer, universal healthcare, NOW!

• I pity Americans and their health care system. Keep the insurance companies rich on the back of working americans. Health care for profit. You get what you pay for.

• I would accuse both parties of playing political tennis for years. They're NOT actually doing anything. They just keep exchanging power in their own interests and those of the lobbyists that contribute.

• SUMMARY AS OF:

1/24/2007--Introduced. H.R 676

"United States National Health Insurance Act (or the Expanded and Improved Medicare for All Act) - Establishes the United States National Health Insurance (USNHI) Program (the Program) to provide all individuals residing in the United States and in U.S. territories with free health care that includes all medically necessary care, such as primary care and prevention, prescription drugs, emergency care, and mental health services...."

• I don't want health insurance i want health care.

Inaurance companies have no place in the health care equation.

Insurance companies have the highest profit margins of any u.s. business.

H.R. 676 introduced in house and sent to committees.

Look it up and read it at Thomas library of congress

website.

• Sssssuuuuure! Private companies are immune from infiltration! That fills my quota of stupidity for today. no more tube for me...

• and then he belts out "strangers in the night"...

• those people will clap at anything

• The only time I would clap for Bush is if he strangled his fukkin self.

• lol!!!

• This just makes me feel so sad, how could so many like the president be so out of touch with reality. If you live it, you would understand, he obviously doesn't have a clue, not a clue. wow. I am sure Cleveland hospital is amazing if you are insured! and wont have to pay huge deductibles etc. Just so depressing. The next election can't get here fast enough.

• The same people who want to inject their religion into government when it comes to homosexuality have no problem opposing universal health care. You can't quote Jesus saying one thing about homosexuality, but he sure did heal a lot of people.

• couldnt watch the whole thing. i could feel my intelligence seeping out of me so had to stop.

why the hell is that goofball running the world? i give up. i'll be under my bed if you need me.
