  • This child is not learning how to swim with that thing around its neck! I say" never put anything around a babies neck"! I do not care what it is..;nothing. Get that freaking thing off the market. I have seen it on other little children as well when visiting Hawaii and they were much bigger what I call, inner tubes. Does anyone know how I can get in touch with the company that makes them. Please do not send that product to the US. Thank you.

  • This is so mean , I would never do that to my 5month old ! So sad !

  • @aussiezahra You would never teach your kid to swim? Shame on you. If he is ever in the newspaper cause he drowned by accident you can blame yourself for being so ignorant.

  • I would never buy a flotation device that was made in china.and the only babies using these plastic collars are Chinese. These things do nothing to help babies learn real swimming. In fact, it only handicaps them later in the water.

  • Comment removed

  • He is not swimming. This device will hobble the child once removed. False sense of balance and security will lead to drowning.

  • as long as the baby is smiling and swimming there is nothing wrong its a babies instict n=to know how to swim and kick as like if they were in the womb

  • I love how everyone is freaking out about small things. That's HORRIBLE or having the floaty on his neck.

The floatation thing isn't doing anything to the child's neck but helping him stay afloat enough to learn swimming, which could one day save his life.

It would be horrible if the child was screaming and obviously didn't want to do that. But this baby looks happy and comfortable. It's called life-saving techniques that are safe for the baby if there was no one there. which there is.

  • is it warm or regular swimming pool?

  • Thats horrible to do to your baby!

  • omg watever

  • too cute... and to the people complaining abuse, when you baby drowns cause they dont know how to swim then youll learn!!

  • You do not put anything around the neck like that... are u CRAZY!?!?!?!

  • too cute ohhhhhh

  • @TheHomeboy25121 you need to stop being so racist.... get over it.. they are teaching their child to swim.. it's better not to overprotect their child.... if you overprotect them.. they will never learn.. and the parent is like 1 foot away... get over it!!!!

  • YOUR SOO MEAN!!

  • soo cute

  • No wonder asians are so smart

  • That is so cute - If I wasn't such a scardie cat I would try to teach my 9 month old to swim - he looks so happy! And it doesn't look dangerous - the mom is right there - c'mon people stop being so damn judgemental - I bet none of you have tried to teach your kid to swim that young!

  • this video scares me

  • i feel so sry 4 that baby he looks like he gonna drown

  • he think that he is going under the water that whey he keep kicking

  • you (whoever is saying this is wrong) are so incompetent... this is a professional way of doing it in a safe way! his parents are laughing at their baby's cuteness, like any parent does! getting a baby to learn to swim and to experience water is very healthy for them and very pleasant cause they are used to be inside a "liquid", in their mommy's belly.

  • child looked like he was struggling more than actually having a good time..AND THE PARENTS ARE SITTING THERE LAFFING AT HIM!!

  • @berwyn79 He is having fun - look at him smile - do you have kids?

  • @jewel531 ...YES i have 4 kids and they havent gone to a pool yet...ive never seen that before...i was planning on taking the kids to the pool someday and have them learn to swim but im just scared that something bad may happen...im a very worried and emotional mom when it comes to my kids..lol..

  • It is not dangerous, seriously, the parents are right there. The flotation device is obviously not uncomfortable for the baby. He loves it. It is more dangerous for over-protective parents to not teach their children to swim and then the child drowns at 17 because he can't swim. Let the kids parents do the parenting and decide what is ok for their own child.

  • haha kid looks like his having fun but... isnt it dangours

  • y all the fuss? it's not like the parents leaving the baby alone in the water..

its just too bad the camera doesnt have a wide enough angle to capture both the parents n baby >.<

  • haha so cute

  • I don't see wots wrong wiv dat even if the baby did go under they naturally hold there breath babies r good in water n can go swimming almost from birth plus some babies are born in a birth pool I think 5 months is fine

  • all it would take is that baby going under oncew and he'd be dead, they should lose rights to thats baby

  • @maggotlover69 Babies naturally hold their breath in water - and I bet that mom would be able to snatch him up in less than 2 seconds - the babies fine

  • This made me go swimming xP

  • the thing around his neck is supposed to be around his neck. it's a flotation device meant for babies.

  • It looks like hes kickin cuz hes chokin :/

  • Seriously?

The baby is fine. There's an adult right there xD Calm down

  • THIS BITCH IS CRAZY IF HES SLIPS HES GONE THEN SHE BE OH ITS NOT MY FAULT ITS A DAMN SHAME

  • @warrockiscool um if asians r so naturals why did Michael phelps win the Olympics and not some asian???

  • who puts a baby in the pool when he's 5 months?!?!?!

  • @kellypj7 babies develop in the womb sorrounded by water. so naturally if they are introduced t the water again at an early age they will not be afriad of it later in life. there are infant swim lessons that can teach babies around six months old to float and roll over. babies adapt to water extremely quickly. and the device around its neck is meant for babies. It's parent is right there and arent going to let anything happen.

    source;

lifeguard, water safety instructor, pool manager

  • Once this baby grows up michael phelps is going to have some serious competition

  • @stopsigns1728 or maybe not since Michael Phelps is actually dead now :-(

  • @PoonCast u fuckin' yank......bloody scumbag

  • all u ppl who criticise the mom are retarded.....she wasnt that far away and that thing that was around the kid's neck is a proper swimming aid meant for babies. if u guys do not know anything about swimming , stop blasting the mom and for some asshole, stop being racist. u bloody redneck

  • elite chinese swim team training. gotta start them when they're young. haha

  • that is bot right.....babies should be held TIGHT in the water or at least put in the shallow part in a water thingie at least to where he is touching the water

  • you ppl are very stupid :)

  • @PoonCast You'd think they would take better care of their babies since there are so few where they come from, eh?

  • i wish ,im still a baby,so i dont have a fear in water,!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow is all I can say why would u do that.....

  • Ahahahaha wow his head is HUGE!!!!!!

  • Wie wärs denn mal das kind fest zui halten ehh ! das is ein baby ihr .... WOAH hilfe ba wie mich das aufregt !

  • cute baby. super dangerous for that floatie to b around his neck.

  • ina kaya payang lumangoy,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

  • oh....the mum should hold the baby , not such a plastig ring, thats dangerous and omg, the baby is 5 month, it doesn´t look comfortable... even if it loves swimming. there is a better way

  • People need to chill out. I've never seen this device before but according to a lot of these comments it's a popular device where they live. The baby isn't crying (which is a sign of distress/doesn't like something) and she's like 2 feet away.

  • people: if the baby was uncomfortable, she'd cry

I know it might look dangerous, but the mother (i'm assuming that's the mother) was near her the whole time

  • @SuperJBFAN15 It's meant to be like that! (they sell it my country!)

  • dhaa baby no how to swqim in the damn woon

  • that does not look safe. Was that really designed for that?

  • wow that shit looks uncomfortable.

  • is it being suffocated

  • this is crazy why do people think its funny to put this stuff on youtube.

  • l0l that's is sooo cute!! i wonder how badly he's enjoying that thing around his neck though :/ he's probably thinking wtf did i do to deserve this... looks like he's having some kind of weird fun though.

  • i got a great idea! let pet a ring around his head so he sufficates :D

  • Feel bad For That baby

  • I bet his sufficating.

  • @TheSwimtotz Yeah i noticed its alot of chinese/asian/korean people who put there babies ina rubber ring...on youtube anyway...idk why

  • @TheSwimtotz Whats so pathetic about it? they arn't in the pool for the purpose of teaching the kid to swim...they're just having a fun time splashing around and decided to video tape it....

  • is he trying to swim or get out of that ring

  • awww

  • He is cute but mabe you should put him Im littler water

  • This is extremly dangerous!! Why:

    1) NEVER put things around a baby's neck.

    2) He could kick so hard that he flips like at 1:25 - 1:29 !!!

    3) Stay within reach distance with ur baby!

    4) Ok the baby loves swimming but atleast HOLD HIM and let him kick!!! Like seriously....

  • @MonkeyTavia23 This product (a swimava ring) is actually made to go around the babies neck. They can use it from birth to 18 months. The baby I Nanny for has used one for 6 months, and LOVES every minute of it. She gets so excited when she sees that we are getting it out, and crys when we take it off.

  • @MonkeyTavia23 You're annoying and stupid. Just shut up.

  • @MonkeyTavia23 he doesnt flip it it leens back a bit

  • @MonkeyTavia23 did i miss the "flip" at 1:25 - 1:29 ?

  • @MonkeyTavia23 .... I TOTALLY AGREE THATS HORRIBLE!!!

  • @MonkeyTavia23 shut up im asain and when i was that age i swim like him so asains are naturals

  • @MonkeyTavia23 It's suppose to go around the baby's neck....it's called a swimava ring and can be used up to 18 months. It's very safe.....millions of babies us them.......google it ;-)

  • @MonkeyTavia23 u r seriously ignorant

  • @MonkeyTavia23

    you're rigth, it's very dangerous !!

people can't be that irresponsable ! serioustly -.-

  • @MonkeyTavia23 u are a very ignorant person, liek seriously

  • @evade531 obviously not ignorant just concerned

  • @MonkeyTavia23 chill out the kid is having fun and there is an adult watching him!

  • @MonkeyTavia23 im kind of confused about WHY you would even THINK to say the whole neck thing. that thing is made to keep the baby above the water. how old r u? ten?

  • @MonkeyTavia23 maybe your baby would drown but not hers and not mine, how about you worry about your kids and limiting their life by being over protective, when they grow up and blame you then reference this video

  • @MonkeyTavia23

    Idiot.

  • @MonkeyTavia23 ????? Dangerous??? It's not like he was swimming in the ocean and besides mom was really close by, she could reach him within 1 second! You can see the baby is enjoying himself. Some people see dangers everywhere..

  • @someancreek1 i agree - parents need to stop being so overprotective on all the wrong things

  • @MonkeyTavia23 thats ridiculous you mean it could be dangerous having a napkin round a babys neck?? its practically impossible for the baby to flip because the floating ring obviously doesn't go beneath the shoulders - meaning that his weight is pulling him down. The adults are right next to the baby... some kids grow up not even knowing with just how much speed they can run around a corner without falling over.. let them experience things or they'll get hurt afterwards

  • @MonkeyTavia23 stop telling other people how to raise their kids.

  • @MonkeyTavia23 and i say ... GET A LIFE !

  • @foofsterino Uhmm my comment is top comment, ur comment does not have one rate. I do have a life actually. I was just saying, I find this very dangerous.

  • @MonkeyTavia23 Actually you aren't in the top comment. The person who told you off is. And just because you're in a top comment doesn't make you right, silly fuck. There are alot of clueless idiots on youtube and just because an idiot thumbs you up doesn't make you correct, it makes you both idiots! this video/ the parents are very smart and obviously care about there childrens safety.

  • so many things wrong with this

    1) you shouldn't leave your kid farther than arms reach

    2) you shouldn't put things around your child's neck

    3) you shouldn't have him on his own without a life guard

    4) you're an idiot you suck.

    i mean, what?

  • life jacket*

  • This is SO dangerous! Poor little guy, that could break his neck! He's doing that because he's upset, it's like watching a person drown, you just couldn't DO that!

  • This is really dangerous, the parents are laughing but the baby is having a hard time. Some parents are just idiots. Baby love water and it is really good for them to swim in the sea or in a swimingpool but now with a rubber ring on his head! he must feel really uncomfortable! and the parents laughing... my god..

  • where did you find this floaty? it's a great tool for teaching litle ones like this to swim (as long as someone is right there obviously, like they are here)... I am in the US but do you know what company made that float?

  • you can clearly see he is having a good time, otherwise he would do what babies do when they feel uncomfortable or unhappy and cry

  • i think that looks like torture

  • kids having the time of his life, stop saying its dangerous, theres an adult next to him.

  • @Hardysamnin I was a good parent too, before I had kids.

  • @emptyeyes00 That makes no sence....How can you be a good parent BEFORE you had kids???

  • @ehunnyluv1585 As in, it's easy to say what is good and not good for kids when you don't have any. It's called being Ironic.

  • @Hardysamnin I agree. It's not like he's in the pool by himself!

  • @Hardysamnin say that to MonkeyTavia23

  • veyr cute :)

  • this is very dangerous!!

Please click on my channel for some.... odd videos!

  • poor little baby hes probably freezing!! so not safe at all

  • Oh my god. Its gonna die. This is actully sick

  • I would never let my baby swim like that...thats not safe at all...and it looks like he's almost choking...and what if the swim ring will slip off his head...

  • what an ugly baby

  • @ChupiiFashiionBiitch

what did u get from saying an ugly baby? u just hurt mom and dad feeling

if you dont have something nice to say u better just not say anything at all.

    god bless you

  • @kareemkablan

    totally Agree wid u man........

    F**** da haterzzzzzzz

  • @wiqi4rmnyc

i am not a man but yup no hurting nobodies feelings, i am just so emotional, hehehehe

and plus he is a cute baby, yup

    f************** all haterzzzzz hehehehhe

  • @kareemkablan

    opsssssss my bad :(

    but yeah true though...

  • this is not safe the baby looks like it is struggling to get out!

  • I didnt even know they made head floaties.

  • he's like, IM BACK!!!!!!!! no wait Im already born....sigh

  • this ''ring'' around his neck is perfectly safe, it's supposed to look tight around his neck, but the baby feels very comfortable

  • LOL! You people leaving comments don't know what your talking about! This is called a swimava ring. It is for infants birth to 18 months, and it is SUPPOSE to go around the baby's neck! MILLIONS of infants use these and they are perfectly safe and wonderful......I know they look weird, but they are comfortable for the baby :-)

  • @IsabelleHayley Completly agree, i wonder if any of the people saying otherwise even do their "homework" before making themselves look like ignorant idiots?? i hear more about accidents with those baby bumbo seats then ever these...infact i've never heard or seen one negative, danger news report on these.

  • stupid asians

  • Poor baby .. Stupid ass bitches letting his neck caught like that in that tube ..

  • u dumb fuckers that is so dangerous what if something would have happen to the baby that makes me sad the baby cute doe

  • Dude, its dangerous. ._.

  • lmao that baby has a big head.

  • poor baby - stupid parents!

  • everyone, please calm down. this is perfectly alright. the baby is being hurt, the floatie is there for his benfit, and babies instincutally know what to do when they feel they're in water. go ahead and google baby swimming lessons, and I'm positive you'll find a whole bunch of sites explaining it.

  • they only know for the first few days. after that, they would drown just like a stone without the floaty

  • is that safe

  • the floaty is around his head so it keeps above the water -.-.

    not to drown..

  • u shouldnt put the floty around its head omg!

  • random arguments about unrelated shit in the comments section much??? (dont giv a shit if its related or not coz im not reading tht shit)

  • O_O!!

Look at how u put the baby into the float!!

    HE COULD DROVVN!!!

    >:O

    But he's so adorable ^^

And all you fugly bitches who don't have anything nice to say about this baby, Fawk u, and go talk shit on someone eles video x]

  • this is the cutest thing ever. i love seeing babies enjoying water.

  • this is so cute! adorably baby

  • I find it cute, When babies feel unconfortable: they scream, this one doesn't seem to have a problem with the float, maybe just a bit puzzled by a new element.

  • hella cute.

  • I'm assuming those posting negative, or even racist responses have never actually had kids of their own. :\ I just saw a store today holding a swimming competition with babies wearing these exact same floats, and they looked perfectly fine. It's not as if the baby is being left unattended either.

  • That baby is just fine! He looks like he is really enjoying the water. Also, for all of the people who are concerned for the baby's safety, there are special flotation devices (like the one used) to keep the baby's head afloat.

  • That is not hurting that child! That child is kicking and moving the floatie. The floatie is made for it! You can drop kick a kid that age without hurting them. (Just kidding)There bones are soft! Americans! They pamper their kids until they are so spoiled and rotten that they grow up to be whiney worthless adults. "But Mom, I'm 39" and you always did it for me before! Mommy you have an extra $20 I hurt my back getting out of bed this afternoon! Well you get the drift! Swim little man!!

  • are you fucking stupid????

  • that should be considered child abuse. who the hell sticks their baby's head in a floatie and then lets them actually float. HE IS GONNA BREAK HIS NECK YOU MORONIC ASSHOLE!

  • er...no he's not...

  • umm seriously? a floatie around his NECK!?!?!?!? that is not normal

  • @lexusqueen10, this is actually very normal.

  • just 1 question how do you take the head floatie off

  • omg, people need to be careful.

a babys body shouldn't be supported like that by there neck. GET THE KID OUT OF THAT WATER... omg its not trying to swim.. it looks like its struggling :( erm thats really really sad.. not funny...

  • STFU kid ill drown you.

  • hes gonna poop in the pool.... lol....

  • hes all like " wtf are you doing to me!?!?!?!"

  • hahahaha

  • lol ya i know i thought it wa funny but its cute too

  • wasnt yours big when you were 5 months old?

  • that was so very cute. thank you.

  • hes like hey! get me outta dis shit

  • thats it!

  • hes like wtf is this shit lmao

  • omg you grabbed him by the floaty thing and it looked like his head almost came off

  • he's fine! he's obviously having fun! no panic anywhere in his demeanor...
