Gavin Arvizo expected people to believe that the abuse to place between February 7th-March 10th 2003, while MJ was being investigated by TWO different departments. Let's say MJ went to trial in the civil case. Only 51% of the jury would've needed to find him liable. This means he would've LOST even if others on the jury thought he did nothing wrong.

Mr. King obviously spoke out of context. His condemnation of MJ clearly proves that he doesn't believe in the justice system. The very system he took an oath to DEFEND as a congressman. Politicians should stick to political issues, not defaming a man who was found NOT GUILTY by a jury of his peers.
If Mr. King thinks his comments won't come back to haunt him, he's mistaken.

TWO grand juries REFUSED to indict MJ because they didn't have the evidence against him and they didn't have the support of the accuser. IF they did, you could bet your ASS it would've went to trial. The prosecution began looking for other "victims" who would corroborate the accusers story, but could find NOTHING. Tom Sneddon, the DA even changed the law so that if a CIVIL trial was to precede a CRIMINAL trial, the civil trial could be STAYED until the CRIMINAL trial was complete.

It makes no sense to say that MJ "paid off" his accuser when he could've done that when the accusers father went to him asking for 20 million OR he would alert the authorities. Hmm. What father would go to their child's abuser asking for money BEFORE going to the police? Had MJ paid off the accuser then, he would've avoided the entire ordeal. THAT could've been seen as an admission of guilt. But MJ REFUSED to pay the guy. That's when hell ensued.

The final reason the MJ settled was if he went to trial in the civil case, the prosecution wouldve been privy to his entire defense. I stated that MJ's insurance company paid the accuser. MJ was on tour at the time, people had a lot of money invested in him. The decision to settle with the accuser would've been FAR cheaper than to back out of a tour and face legal action from people backing his tour.

Keep in mind that criminal charges were pending provided adequate evidence be presented. The decision to settle was OUT of MJ's control. His INSURANCE COMPANY paid the accuser. That money did NOT come from. There are few reasons WHY MJ settled. One of them being, in a civil trial only 51% of the jury has to agree on a verdict. The second being that the verdict in a civil trial, had he lost, could have been used against him in the criminal trial.

In 1993 there were 2 cases against MJ, the CIVIL and the CRIMINAL. The CIVIL case was set to PRECEDE the CRIMINAL case. MJ asked his lawyer, Johnnie Cochran, to file a motion asking that the CRIMINAL trial precede the CIVIL trial. His motion was DENIED.

Gavin Arvizo expected people to believe that the abuse to place between February 7th-March 10th 2003, while MJ was being investigated by TWO different departments. BOTH of which closed the case due to lack of evidence. Are we supposed to believe that MJ abused this kid while in the midst of an investigation by TWO different departments? And Gavin Arvizo who initially credited MJ with helping him get through his Stage 4 cancer, told investigators that he spoke with in February of 2003 that MJ had NOT done anything to him. Not to mention the fact that the entire family DEFENDED MJ in the beginning. His sister was even CRYING at some of the questions asked by them. The mother stated that MJ had been like a father to her kids and she trusted him with them. She also stated that her kids were never left alone with him.

He said he was forced into it by his father because they were poor and that when Michael is gone, when he can't do anything about it basically, he'd tell the truth.

Another interesting fact from the 1993 case was the kids description of MJ's genitalia DID NOT match the photos taken. AND they NEVER examined the boy to see if penetration HAD occured. The boys father REFUSED to allow it. Because HE KNEW his claim that abuse had occured would've been thwarted. Remember, the FATHER made the claims BEFORE the kid did.

During the 1993 allegations, police used EXTREME interrogation tactics, notifying parents, telling them that abuse DID occur even though the kids SWORE to their parents nothing bad had ever happened. Some police officers involved in the case LIED saying to the kids that THEY had been molested as children so that the kids could "relate" to them.
