Thruthfully, if i could have any diesel of my choice.....81-84 diesel volkswagen rabbit pickup. That would make the trips from fl to pa a little easier on the wallet.

From all I've learned about the new 6.7 powerstroke, it's a good motor. We already know the 6.7 cummins is a capable power plant, but the latest 6.6 dmax seems to take the cake. I'm a ford guy, and I'd still take the powerstroke if given a choice, but I'd have no problems owning one of the others. I'd even be happy with an old idi 6.9 or 7.3 ford, or a 6.5 gm. Just love those diesels.

I know these are modded trucks, but which make usually pulls the best? I just bought a 6.7L Super Duty. I'm not wanting to compare my truck to any of these, but just curious how the makes are comparing. I know cummins are STRONG. IMO the new 6.7 powerstroke will do good for the future...

@baseball4416 This is an age old question. I am a fan of the 12V Cummins, they seem to run better with the bigger turbos, but in the 2.6 and 2.8 class, the Duramaxs are running really strong, very good motors. I have seen the new Ford diesels, but havent seen any run or pull yet. Bottom line, run what you like and your happy with and dont listen to those bash it. 99% of bashers are simply jealous of what you have...Period. But for me, ill take a Cummins over the others...but thats just me !!!
