dang it looks like your using tukui or something similar with the options screen and whatnot but I can't tell, I have been using tukui 4.2 for quite some time now and like it alot for its simplicity but its customization also, is this what you were using at this time or was it some variation of it?

@casedistorted Yeah it is TukUI, i don't recall what spin of it i used back then. This video is a little bit before i stopped playing the game. It was well over 6 months ago. TukUI was easily the best Interface mod i had ever encountered. I purchased a book on programming LUA because i was so inspired by the UI. I hope it is still active and improving, because it was near perfect last year.

Didn't the small dragons attack you here? Maybe it was bugged by then? I think it's fixed now. I am bit nervous about mine. I have camped for several HOURS now and I have lost it 6 times. My throwing weapon is pretty shitty >.< What if it wont do enough damage to take down the adds... hm. Because you can't reach them melee?

@Wuterkins yeah you can use attacks but i was one of the first in the world to get it..and the first on my server so no one knew how to attack him, he is a bit buggy and his hit box is near his tail so you have to turn away from him and face his tail to do damage, i didnt realize that until the end. I used the aoe to kill the welps b/c i knew that you had to kill them before they "overwhelmed" you according to event alerts and what i read online.

@LegendOfTheBubblegum well he flies rather slow until you mount him.. he is friendly to you and mountable from mid air like any other vehicle..thats how he works

The sucky thing is that Hunters have to melee him down. No other casting or ranged class has to do that, just hunters. Because Blizzard hates hunters. So yeah if you're a hunter plan on being up there for a while, just remember to face front to shoot his drakes down, they take a while to aggro anyway, easy kills ranged. And then turn and face his tail to melee him (unless they fixed the graphics glitch that made this necessary), then turn back to the front for drakes again, rinse and repeat.

your video helped me find one of it's spawn locations in deepholm and to figure out what height he was flying at. I made a long post on wowhead under this account name on the npc and the reins detailing everything that happened so thank you for posting this vid. I must say it was not an easy fight though for a melee dps that couldn't heal and didn't have fan of knives, I damn near died and was having a heart attack from nervousness the entire time but in the end got it under Hrethgir Demon Soul

@penguinshades I just got it last night on Ghostlands. I'm an 85 fire mage with heroic gear and I smoked him and hardly took any damage. You have to mouse-look to his REAR to hit him... took me a bit to figure out how to hit him but you need to mouse-look to his tail then you'll be able to melee/cast. I found him around the same height just northwest of the Temple of Earth.

I remember seeing him flying around when I first came to deepholm and thought "why is their a mountable dragon flying around?" and shrugged it off and thought it was some quest thing. @b0rg69 yes, i was 85 and i was wrong i thought that when leaving the temple you were headed north, i power leveled to 85 so i hardly looked at the map ACTUALLY i was exactly where wowhead and other sites say he should be. I was actually and more like 5-6 oclock on the map. And i was high up, higher than the columns but lower than the broken platforms. so higher than the entrance to Stonecore in altitude. And the mob is HUGE you will run right into it and its friendly to you with a vehicle icon.
