He is clearly not giving correct information, but putting up a show.( If he had done this stunt on a Norwegian airline, his job would be in jeopardy!)

The cockpit layout with windows and instruments panel clearly show it is a Dash 8. If I am wrong I will eat my winterboots! And they are big! !It is cold here in Norway these days!

As far as pilots being trained to use firearms, only those that have gone through the Federal Flight Deck Officer (FFDO) (about 12,000 pilots currently) program are deputized and can carry firearms. A normal airline pilot's training does not include firearms. The pilot himself/herself elects to take part in the FFDO program at his/her own time and expense.

Our airport is only big enough for the dash-8's and the saabs and 737's and all the times i have flown on the dash-8's and saabs which is more than 12 times a year i have NEVER ever flown higher than 25,000ft so i said that based on experience. The some other guy tried to compare the piaggio to the dash-8 thats why i told him the same thing. Half of those guys havnt even been in props before and they argue.
