  • @jpdouet. In what universe are American cars the most sought after? Yes, old muscle cars are in vogue now, but the only American car (post WW2) that anyone really collects is a Shelby Mustang. Check your facts. All the top sellers at auction, including Duesenbergs and Packards, are European. I am a red blooded American and have bought one American car since 1978 and regretted that decision with a passion.

  • And if American cars are so "shitty" why are American classics the most sought after in the world?

  • FIAT 500 is not American made. Fiat owns Chrysler not the other way around you tool. It might be assembled here. That does not make it American made.

  • @jpdouet2002 neither owns the other. Fiat has stock in Chrysler but does not own them. Theyre sharing parts and ideas for the 500/Dart platform.

  • @WhoooLovesOrangeSoda fiat owns 56% of the shares of Chrysler Group (Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, RAM). So Fiat Owns Chrysler

  • sounds like a moped at idle. LofL

  • No Arm Rest!?

  • the 500 abarth is a race car! it need carbon fiber parts and the only one factory that produce special carbon fiber parts for this car is YOUTUNEIT. ORG

I advice all carbon lover to contact him! bye

  • FIAT = (F)ix (I)t (A)gain (T)ony

  • @AudiophileTubes FIAT = Finest Italian Automotive Technology you fucking American douchebag...so go fix your FORD, Fix Or Repair Daily!

  • @u1430 Pretty sure you're wrong. FIAT stands for Fabbrica Italiana Automobili do Torino. Ford is named after a person, you know the guy that invented the assembly line. I'm sure you've heard of that. Althought, First On Race Day works as well.

  • @u1430 You are insulting an American on an American website, funded by American advertising, on a network developed by Americans on an Internet invented by Americans in a country most likely liberated by Americans. So take a spoonful of STFU!

  • finalmente un auto che consuma poco con prestazioni alte per gli amici americani...:))

  • I had a Fiat 124 Sport Coupe years ago that I hopped up with Webers, cams, ANSA exhaust, BWA wheels etc. It was the most fun to drive of all my cars which have included some late model Mercedes, Audi S8, BWM 5 series

I am looking forward to seeing this Abarth in the showroom and hope that the 160 hp Abarth SS will be available quickly. Top Gear does a great review on it saying it is really a fun car to drive. It would be a welcome change to have such fun again while using so littel fuel.

  • cool little shoe!!! Jackies83 Get your engish rite it's AMERICAN in capitols!!!

  • Americans sorry but I would not trade a European car with an American car even in death. You are way behind! Enjoy the fiat, and pray it gets Alfa Romeo and Lancia.

  • Just to say people need to do some research before they start acting like ignorant kids and start talking shit about something they don't know anything about!

  • That said, it's true america is changing and european cars will go on the market .

But it's the same with american cars aswell, they are starting to globalise aswell and starting to meet our european needs . Think about the mercedes ML fe. , you can say what you want , but that's an american car and you can even choose for a american or european dashboard-layout. And many other models /brands are american aswell , people just don't realize it so it seems ...

  • People need to have some respect for eachother actually.

Yes i like european cars , but i also like some american ones ...

But common , have some respect for both sides of the car-industry..that's what the passion and hobby is all about.

And some need to rethink their comments about 'corvettes' aswell..they drive way better then you would imagin and yes we do have official european dealerships of corvette , so yes they do meet our tuv and european standards !

  • Schumacher got one, nuff said

  • L'ennesima donna macho al volante che fa la splendida in pista senza casco... Mi viene da vomitare.

  • very very very nice

    there's not another so

  • I would buy that car if it were available in the States, but sadly its not. Anybody know if Fiat is planning to send it here since the whole Fiat Chrysler deal?

  • @desimunda116 yes they are starting to sell it soon - not sure if they're bringing the abarth version though

  • Rofl the Abarth is in norway now heaheahea

  • Grande Punto Abarth

  • I would be in love with is car if they just made a few of changes.

    * At Least 200 HP

    * Twin Clutch Trans

    * AWD or Rear Wheel Drive

    * Remove the back seats & give roll bar like in the MiTo GTA.

  • it's easy:

    -You don't need 200h, it's not a formula 1.

-No need for twin clutch if you drive manual.

-RWD on a car that size wtf??? ever heard of snow?

    - It's suposed to be a city car, not a racer.

  • i'm in love with that chick

  • Damn, the suspension seems super-stiff. Too stiff for shitty polish roads I gues... :(

  • Driven it in Greek roads and is not as stiff as I thought it would be. However if you find a bump on the road surface while turning there is a chance for sudden oversteer. But you have thw ESP for such situations

  • ive got a renault clio 197 but wish i had this...because i would any given day.

  • l fcking love it

  • anfoch nur geil der Abarth 500

  • Fortunately there are Yanks, like myself, who know that real driving means more than smokey burnouts and going fast in a straight line. Some Americans are morons that think anything that isn't boring looking, over-sized or a V-8, is "gay". That is changing, there is fast growing enthusiasm for minis here in the States. There isn't an American-made car I would rather have than this little beauty. I can't wait till they come in 2011.

  • well put. I'd love one myself. Maybe I'll just get a FIAT 500 to learn to drive stick on first, though. That would be fun, seeing as I've only ever driven stick on a 70s bug about 15 years ago! I know that things between Chrysler and FIAT have come along pretty far at this point, but I'm not convinced that we'll see the 500 Abarth models here in the states. But I hope I'm wrong on that!

  • Good news is you are wrong. Do a few Google news searches and you'll find the 500 will be in the US by 2011 along with the Abarth.

  • Have you ever even driven a car?

  • have fun trying to go round a corner :) straight line speed doesn't make a great car.

  • our 2.0 L pull out 300 hp lol. Amerikan shitty cars need atleast 3-4L engines just to fucking move with all that weight

  • @jackies83 Yeah, all those safety features that keep you from dying in a crash, what a huge waste!

  • @drugbooda Hahaha, almost every modern european car has 4 or 5 stars when it comes to security. What about ur Corvette? Good luck with that 4L engine on ur chest.

  • @jackies83 The American vanilla 500 puts out 101 hp. AND the engine is built in Michigan. The Amerikaner Abarth promises to be a bigger monster than your version. ;)

  • @jackies83 Actually Chrysler pioneered small displacement turbocharged engines with the Omni GLH and Charger GLH. They were 2.2l and made 180hp back in 1985. Americans have more twice the amount of road than Europe has. Also our interstates are straight with few shallow grades so cars with excellent torque at low revs are preferred over high strung low displacement motors. We also have very stringent emission requirements (higher than the European union) so diesels are hard to certify.

  • Americans are not accustomed to small cars, most think they are cheap penalty boxes. People here can not see themselves paying over $20,000 for a compact. when you have to travel 50-60 km a day to commute to work in bumper to bumper traffic a large automatic car is preferred. I love quality small cars (I owned a MK I GTI and a SRT-4) and American companies have made great ones. Look up the Dodge Omni GLHS, The Dodge SRT-4, Ford Focus, Chevy Corvair Monza, Cobalt SS Turbo.

  • @jackies83 Jesus youre fucking stupid. First of all its spelled "American" and secondly i love the fact that youre refering to OLD 40+ year old cars made out of metal and comparing them to shoe size toys that were made yesterday out of recycled barbie dolls. Good one.

Next, the Abarth doesnt come with a 2.0L OR 300 HP. It comes with a 1.4L with a IHI RHF3-P turbocharger thats putting out a WHOPPING 133 horses at 5500 RPM

  • @WhoooLovesOrangeSoda who gives a fuck? All i see around youtube is dumb fuckers like you bitchin about Europian car manufacturers not delivering all the good "stuff" to the US market... no need to respond btw! you'll have to wait another 2 years

  • you were born to drive and call Euro cars trash... haha? Euro cars are a more involving drive and the handling is brilliant. they are true drivers cars, but surely a person born to drive must know this already.

  • at least it can do 60+ around a corner..

  • @Hako2004 me too

  • @Hako2004 halleluya to you man... and truth be told... there are a lot of europeans that express their manhood through the size of their cars engines.... LOL!!! Cheers!!

  • @Hako2004 stop talking about your Country negatively, or get the hell out. Move to some socialist craphole and whine about "co2 emissions" when talking about performance. You'd rather have this than a zr-1? Proves you a sissy and loser. Now shut it.

  • @kenfo0 - hahaha. you're really that nationalistic, are you? maybe you havent noticed, but it's common knowledge all over the world that american cars are shit. as for your precious corvette - who gives a fuck about a mediocre piece of shit like a corvette? there are plenty of tuners out there doing twin turbos and 800hp... corvettes are nothing. but, if you're after something LIGHT, fun, and DAMN FAST in tight twisties, then this is a shoe in. i looked at one today. these things rock.

  • @gizvidz4 being an aussie (hmmm....like sissy), I fully understand why you don't understand nationalism...pride in one's country. Your stupid, whiny screed only reinforces what a moron you are. The corvette has had positive reviews around the world. You are so sad your country's only performance vehicle entails strapping a kangaroo to a yugo and pushing it off a cliff., that you lash out at everyone else. For goodness sakes, get a hold of yourself boy (SLLLLLAAAAAAAP)!

  • @Hako2004 VW Golfs are popular too.

  • @Hako2004 I'm all for the Fiat 500 abarth but... no american car? No saleen, mustang, shelby's, camaros, corvettes, or anything!?

  • nice car

  • Yanks are so fucking retarded!

FiYATTT and Abart? Its just Fiat and Abarth.

  • LMAO

Well, at least gays have a good sense of style ;)

  • not as gay as your daddy!

  • at least it hasn't got a 8.4L V10 so people know the driver doesn't need to compensate for anything..
