  • all you need to do now is plate it with red and gold titanium alloy XD

  • gee, thanx for responding konan. but im still wondering how you managed to make all the perfect shapes with the sheet aluminium. you know what i mean like all the panels on the side and the top, they look perfect man!!

  • @MrHusla786 I actually marked where to cut with a marker then cut it out messed up on a few of them till i got some good pieces then i just put it all together after i just used some goofoff and took the sharpie marker off. or you can use a dry erase marker and then just wipe it off after, which i should ahve done first. Thanks again!

  • Excellent work - very detailed, very professional-looking. Can't wait to see what else you come out with. :)

  • @ry842002 Thanks alot!, hopefully when i get more time on my hands i will start up my creations again, lol

  • aw man, !!! thats awsome . Tell where you got the material from is it aluminium????? PLEASE do a video on what you made it with a nd stuff. its better than anyones on youtube .

  • @MrHusla786 sheet aluminum from home depot, wish i could make a video but i already created it, if i plan on making another one i will for sure record my progress! thanks for the complements, hope this helps!

  • @konan2009 have you tried galvanized steel?

  • @nick20933 Nope sounds to tough to work with it is stronger but also heavier plus i don't plan on wearing in the rain lol

  • can you give me a list of what materials you used

  • @capriotti98 Basically Craft foam, wire coat hanger, sheet aluminum, hot glue, very simple inexpensive materials, hope this helps!

  • @konan2009 yes it does thank you

  • I am trying to get a Halloween costume like that. I am going through a lot of pain trying to find the right pieces!!!!!!! Congrats, it looks amazing.

  • i am a crazy fan of you ..konan .....but can u make something that shoots or blasts repulsive waves like in the movie...plz reply

  • @abhivasa Hmmm im gonna try a couple of things..lol

  • What kind of metal did you use??

  • @legomaster12 Sheet aluminum from home depot.

  • hi you have some serious talant and i was wondering if you could email me copies of your scimatics if you have any because i have a hole work shop at my disposal at my school with laser cuting machines and stuff because im very good friends with the engineer teatcher. so could you please inbox me with an answer thanks.

  • @cyrusthevirus1240 unfortunately i never made schematics of this, kinda just flowed out ideas as i made it sorry if i did make any i wouldn't mind at all. thanks!

  • did anyone else hear about like ages ago a dude built a replica of war mashein's armor?

  • just imagine, abit of more work and you would probs make the actual suit in the movie. keep up the good work

  • @CROUCHINGLION93 thanks alot! im trying different things so hopefully something will come out of it haha

  • just add metal plating thats exactly like the plates on the movie and insert strong magnets in the plates and they will stick together without bolts and screws. that what im doing to my suit.

  • Dude, you are a genius. I saw this video about eight hours ago. Since then I've been to Walmart, Walgreens, and a hardware store gathering parts to attempt to achieve something that will not compare to what you made. When someone says awesome, they have no idea what the word means till they see the kind of work you did to create those parts. Awesome!

  • @Rikotistic check out my newer arc reactors, and if your in walmart look in the shower/bathroom area for simliar parts, thanks so much for the complement, but trust me practice makes perfect you can make one as good or better than me, Goodluck

    -Dan

  • Just add metal plating and it could work

  • lol im 12 and im thinking of making one of these

  • By the way Konan, is these beastly arms going to give like a blast? :D

  • @volks0388 Hahaha you welcome man, I'm happy that your day is awesome :)

  • @konan2009 Haha thanks man appreciate that :)

  • omg dude!!!!ur awesome

  • send me the plans

i'd build it myself but i'm too lazy

  • damn it man looks like you're making the real deal

  • dude can you make an tutoriol to make this

  • okey awsome do u have torials on any of ur props u showed

  • what materials did you use to make this? :)

  • @scorpneonable Basically Craft foam, wire coat hanger, sheet aluminum, hot glue, ver simple inexpensive materials, hope this helps!

  • i admire your skills. I've been searching everywhere for a tutorial to make these things, and once you make one, i will follow yours. I really like what you did

  • @Sto0pidPenguinPro Sorry but i free handed the replusor arm, the tutorial is for the mark I arc reactor. Thanks alot for comment, i just have patience i guess, Good luck

  • @konan2009 One day I hope, You'll be big :) You're arm gives me the chills :D

  • @DavidAProduction lol, your comment is epic.

  • @DavidAProduction lol!!!!! you made my day dude.

  • Hey dude, I recently uploaded a video of a Whiplash (From Iron man 2) inspired arm device, and I was hoping someone of your skill could give me a few tips or suggestions? I think what you have made is brilliant so feel free to tell me what you think about mine :)

  • @FYEvideos Im currently working on a whiplash suit myself check out my videos and i made a slide show of my progress i hope this helps! Thanks

  • @MChappieness in working on one for the arc reactor

  • Sorry, guys i haven't had time to finish the tutorial, i am still working on it. I have a busy life so im doing my best, Thanks

  • PLEASE MAKE A TUTORIAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Can you put them on? How do you wear them?

  • @U2fan24 It just slides over my arm, then i connect the wiring to a battery pack, everything is activated by a switch on the back of the replusor.

  • @konan2009 Thanks for your reply. It's awesome! And couldn't be more accurate. I made some really cheap ones from scraps and dollar store materials. It's nothing like yours, but I'm happy with it. I just have trouble with the part that goes around my bycep. How do you keep it from wanting to slide down your arm? Are the wires holding it up somehow? The wires on mine are just for looks. The only lights come from a tap light. You should make more and sell them tho.

  • hey man just added you im makin a iron man suit and how did you make the light

  • @irontim44the repulsor light or the arc reactores lights?

  • @konan2009 both

  • hey i was just wondering where did u get the aluminum?

  • @michel3601999 Home depot or lowes its rolled up aluminum sheet i think its .025 thickness, maybe about a few sheets of paper thick.

  • how did u make the trigger for the hand light and also how did u pack 30 leds in that little thing

  • @oud25 Just placed them in two circles and soldered them, the switch is a reset button out of a computer case, its recess behind the repulsor so when i extend my palm it pushes in a turns on the LEDs

  • This is awesome, you could easily be feature in instructables im sure! and yes i would like to see an instructables, because its amazingly kool!

  • @dewitall thank you, remember you and anyone else can do it too!

  • Man... that is good. Im looking for designs at the moment for the arm piece, ill have to watch this video a few times as a reference, cause that looks so good. Cheers for posting :)

  • @ADEdge thanks so much!

  • ARE U MAKING THE WHOLE SUIITTT????

  • @Sithunlimited1 nope i dont have that much time even though it would be badass lol

  • What did you make the metal frame for the arm out of and how.

  • @s28400 Started the frame with a wire coat hanger bent it how i needed then glued it together and added the foam inbetween for the thickness then last i placed the aluminum over and added wires and such, i used the scene in the movie as a reference

  • @konan2009 thanks I will give it a try

  • man this is AWESOME! what's the flight stabilizer made from? is it metal or plastic? and did it take you long to create?

  • Hey there! Are those RC car shocks on the arm pieces?

  • When you said you used aluminium, did you mean aluminium sheets? what did you use to cut it (because it's very neat) and how thick was it? In essence how did you make the frame :P

    Awesome job though!!

  • Oh just read your reply to someone else - sorry! I'll send you a message instead of filling up your comments page with questions x)

  • Subscribed :) I have a few questions though..

Are all the wires actually there for a reason or just for show? Also, what kind of lights did you use for the Arc Reactors and are you at all experienced with electronics and such or are the lights pretty straight forward? Thanks a lot :)

  • @JKBearness Yes one of the pair on wires travel from my hand all the way up my arm to the battery pack, the rest of the wires are for show. The LED's used for my arc reactor were a pack of christmas cool white leds lights for about 6 bucks for 70 leds. Yes i am experience with electronics but you don't have to be to wire leds together it is pretty straight forward just be cautious when messing with solder/solder guns read up online before trying it. Goodluck

  • can u teach us how to do?

  • @yiyouninja Sorry i really didnt have a tutorial cause i kinda added as i went along, then put it all together. Im planning on making a new one soon maybe then ill make an instructable.

  • @yiyouninja i can of the arc reactor the arm i can't but i am willing to send people pictures so everyone can try it too

  • could you message me instrucyions please?!

  • I made it from scratch, its 30 leds soldered together and wired to a switch as shown ^^, when i extend my palm it pushes the switch and activates the leds & my ark reactor to light up brighter.

  • I wish I had the money to do that kinda stuff

  • all this was under 25 bucks, mostly spent on the glue and aluminum which is whats layering the Repulsor Arm...it just took alot of time to make everything fit right and dry. You could do it too, if you have patience. ;)

  • do you have the sketch??

i´m a huge iron man fan

  • Nope sorry i didn't really used a sketch just kinda added on while i was making it. sry again

  • wow sick
