I am truely for the gospel of Jesus Christ and for its teachings that has brought true happiness in my life. There are so many things that we need answers to but its only through prayer and faith is when we will recieve the right answer. I know that there were prophets who taught us many things and saw the works of our saviour and I believe that we have a living prophet who does the same. God loves us so much he wanted to guide us through this day also through prophets. Love the gospel!

@supafob8 The missionaries did their discussions. The problem was they said the plain and precious truths were taken from the bible and that the everlasting gospel was restored in the book of mormon. The only problem is no Mormon can tell me what was lost from the bible and what was restored in the book of mormon. Why do ministers get paid for sharing the word of God, the same reason prophets get paid to fly around for free building churches, Churches don't build themselves for free

Prophets dont do it for a living, they have all had jobs to make a living... we pay 10% of what we earn towards building of chapels, temples so we can perform sacred ordinances this is TITHING money. and yes money is put towards travelling so that they can dedicate temples or organise other sacred ordinances. but not to go on a holiday. what was the lost? where did the priesthood go when the apostles and disciples were all killed? the authority?

@supafob8 Well today because we know the languages that were first spoken during the time of Christ, before and after we can go back to the scrolls and translate it from it's original scrolls. even measure it up with scrolls that are still being found today, but why is it that nobody has found any evidence, scrolls, buildings, or even bones of people talked about in the Book of Mormon. @supafob8 There's nothing on earth you or I can do better than what Jesus already has done. Does that make sense ? He was the first to not Sin, Die and then resurrect. Christ was the only man who can pay for our sins. That's why it's called a free gift. Nothing you can do to repay God. Except, by Accepting his Free Gift in his Accomplished Sacrifice (This is what the Gospel is) Christ is the only one who can give you his spirit. When Christ left, the spirit came from God and not man.

@supafob8 For if your prophet mediates between you and God, where does Christ fit into all of this. Christ said after he leaves he was going to send the Comforter or the Promise that would later come and teach us all things and bring all things back to our remembrance. Christ said he was going to lay a foundation that no man can lay, and that heaven and earth shall pass except for his words, and not even the gates of hail shall prevail against it.

@supafob8 If Christ is Truth would it be reasonable to say that he is the standard to which we can measure anything to ? I believe that Christ already showed us the way, and it was through him. I mean I'm convinced since Adam sinned every prophet or man that came in the name of Almighty God were men who foreshadowed the savior who would permanently stand on behalf of us and God. @supafob8 I've read the book of Mormon, I don't see what Joseph Smith Restored, Honestly. I can't find what we lost with Christ words in the Bible, and where it was restored in the Book of Mormon. Getting past the Intro of the Book of Mormon was hard enough. Especially when it comes to knowing History very well. It didn't make sense. The time frame, the Language, but most of all it being the keystone of your religion, and without it your religion wouldn't exists.

Prophets dont do it for a living, they have all had jobs to make a living... we pay 10% of what we earn towards building of chapels, temples so we can perform sacred ordinances this is TITHING money. and yes money is put towards travelling so that they can dedicate temples or organise other sacred ordinances. but not to go on a holiday. what was the lost? where did the priesthood go when the apostles and disciples were all killed? the authority?

And then why try and restore something if he didn't know what was missing in the beginning ? Why not use to JST version of the bible that prophet brought into your religion, if everyone else translated version was wrong.

@supafob8 Well today because we know the languages that were first spoken during the time of Christ, before and after we can go back to the scrolls and translate it from it's original scrolls. even measure it up with scrolls that are still being found today, but why is it that nobody has found any evidence, scrolls, buildings, or even bones of people talked about in the Book of Mormon. I mean when the bible speaks of the Euphrates River we know where it is, along with Jerusalem, etc

@supafob8 There's nothing on earth you or I can do better than what Jesus already has done. Does that make sense ? He was the first to not Sin, Die and then resurrect. Christ was the only man who can pay for our sins. That's why it's called a free gift. Nothing you can do to repay God. Except, by Accepting his Free Gift in his Accomplished Sacrifice (This is what the Gospel is) Christ is the only one who can give you his spirit. When Christ left, the spirit came from God and not man.

Christ said after he leaves he was going to send the Comforter or the Promise that would later come and teach us all things and bring all things back to our remembrance. Christ said he was going to lay a foundation that no man can lay, and that heaven and earth shall pass except for his words, and not even the gates of hail shall prevail against it.

@supafob8 If Christ is Truth would it be reasonable to say that he is the standard to which we can measure anything to ? I believe that Christ already showed us the way, and it was through him. I mean I'm convinced since Adam sinned every prophet or man that came in the name of Almighty God were men who foreshadowed the savior who would permanently stand on behalf of us and God. I guess that's why prophets all ways died, but when Christ came he fulfilled that office permanently

@supafob8 I've read the book of Mormon, I don't see what Joseph Smith Restored, Honestly. I can't find what we lost with Christ words in the Bible, and where it was restored in the Book of Mormon. Getting past the Intro of the Book of Mormon was hard enough. Especially when it comes to knowing History very well. It didn't make sense. The time frame, the Language, but most of all it being the keystone of your religion, and without it your religion wouldn't exists.
