  • very informative video. thanks for posting. :)

  • I like your rotary, i milk in a 50bail WestFaliaSurge plant, alot different to your's, the yard can hold 250 cows and we have "HerdHomes" for the cows to stay in over night and to feed maze and a mix of other stuf good for cows, your one is alot bigger in the shed size, and this one was made smaller.

    Cheers

  • Hey, That's some size of bulk tank. How many do you milk?

  • good

  • i could have saved you thousands, make the plateform 5 bails smaller and get the guy to stand closer to the cow entry when hanging cups, almost 25% of your platform is doing nothing

  • @thecvxman you have to allow for stimulation for proper milk letdown, didn't you know this??

  • thats pretty cool

  • yes, but my questions is what happen when de vaccum is star. the manure and dirty entry to de line o liners.

  • what about the cluster, when the cow entry. the cluster is in the floor.

what happen with the milk quality.

  • Hi, this is a very common practice in Australia - once the cluster passes under the rotary platform bridge, there is water sprays there that wash the exterior of the cluster to have them "clean" to be placed on the next cow. It is more practical to wash the clusters as they pass under the platform that to spray a lot of water about trying to wash them above the platform.

  • I can assure you the clusters are very clean and there is no manure or dirt enter the liners.
