i think some countries dont allow girls to do lion dancing, i heard its not traditional but i think girls can lion dance as well as guys

Girls & women do lion dance. There is a troupe in KL that is a women women's troupe with members 60 ~ 80 years old. Another very active troupe is in Boston Gund Kwok they are very good. Check out their web site by logging into their name. There was also another women's troupe in central Indonesia but I think they have disbanded.

You need a good lion with good eyes. That's a start, if your lion's eyes mechanism is crap, you can forget about it.

We are from Melbourne Australia. The people lion dancing are Kun Seng Kung from Malaysia. So I think you will have to travel to Malaysia to learn from them :P
