AT BEREAL Not putting you down, but your comment just answered a lot of questions concerning the mentality of many of our people that voted him in EXPECTING him to be God. He NEVER promised PERFECTION in his presidency. Look at the human dear. Re-visit his acceptance speech. He said HOPEFUL, DO HIS BEST, said he would not be able to do it alone. But you see, many of our people voted him in and from day one, sat on their butts being critical of his efforts. I will speak for Mr. Pres. Lazy A.
I agree, its exciting that Obama is the first African American President, but what has Obama done for you people? Specifically? Where is the progress?
@Yevanae Wake up? I understand and appreciate that Obama's presidency is a source of inspiration for millions of Americans. However, Obama has not solved or addressed the social inequalities that affect this country. In fact, the African American unemployment rate is now at 16%. Where is the progress? Black males between the age of 18-25 are still more likely to go to prison than they are to attend college. He has failed to mitigate or address these issues.
