Nope everything comes back just the way it left.. Just boot it backup and your good.. Unless you have a tethered jailbreak then you have to deal with that but no worries about losing any data..

So i'm thinking of doing this. I haven't got my 3GS yet, but I'm really considering this. Does it void your warrenty when you get it painted? And does it matter if you have a black or white one to get painted?

Well it doesn't matter the color of the phone prior to getting painted but I would think about it and make sure your 100% postive you want to because your warranty will be voided.. Like my phone was jailbroken and unlock so I didn't care.. I believe colorware offers and extend warranty through so just double check or just be very careful if you do get it done.. I would recommend getting the SwitchEasy Vulcan case just when you wanna be safe.. Check out my channel and watch the video for it

Yea first you complete the order online. Then get the order number and shipping address and send it.. I sent mine via usps cause it was cheaper. But anyway the worst part is you have to wait like four weeks. Then they send it back and it's looks better than you could imagine

It holds up pretty good as long as you don't drop it on the pavement.. I would suggest getting a holster or even a clear snap on such as the power support air jacket or the incase clear snap on.. I have both and use them with a pouch on occassion and it works great plus you still show off the work you got and still keep it protected

@SkripKlubDJ210 Well I've had a little surface scratches just from in and out of cases so I would suggest using snap on cases but thats all on the top coat nothing on the paint so hardly noticeable.. Recently i just got a small chip on my bezel it was drop so I don't know how it happen. After consistently contacting ColorwarePC they said I just have to send it out and they will do repair. But overall its still look amazing not as amazing as it first did tho.
