when you take the amp out of standby (after warming up the tubes) does your's make a popping sound and if not how do i fix that on mine? Is it a serious problem? Now it is making a slight sputtering sound, even w/o anything plugged up!!! Please help!
Hey there! I don't have this amp any more, but i remeber what you're talking about. In my case, it wasn't very loud pop, so i didn't make any changes. you should change tubes, as soon as you can, becouse the originals are crap (china).
If it lasts for 20 seconds or so, its just the valves warming up. popping or dropouts? take tha valves out and put them back in, normally just poor contacts.

Wow, really nice SRV-like tone, man. I am thinking of getting one of these amps. By the way, what pickups and strings do you use?

If it happens with mine I turn it off a few seconds and back on and it seems to "reset" it. It doesnt happen too frequently.
