I have one of these still working and used. Got two of them form QVC for £5. Very good piece of kit but it does creak when I use it.

my dad gave me a series5, and i tried to get internet on it, but i cant seem to get it. Can you? If you can please respond. I am eager to use this semi-out of date piece of hardware online. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can be done, but you'll need a travel modem or a compatible phone with an Infra Red port. Google it to find specifics, but its a lot of hassle for questionable results.

As I use the Series 3 range, you look spot on when you say the Osaris would be a good replacement for a Series 5. Good to keep in mind if ever I come across one. Thx!

The Revo is probably the best bargain high-performance Psion - great screen, fast processor, OK keyboard, and can be had for bargain prices on eBay, just make sure you get one that has a working rechargeable battery.

Yes, the rechargeable battery is prob the only real problem with the Revo. Though I remember reading that these batteries are well made, but they went wrong because the owner didn't follow the charging process as described in the manual with enough precision.
