I was thinking how much Joseph suffered to ultimately be in the place where God wanted him to be. This aspect of Joseph's life seems to tell me that the Lord is not as concerned about my comfort as He is His purposes. And in the end Joseph is not bitter because he realizes the awesome responsibilty that God had given him. This life of mine is to be a sacrifice for God to be used as He sees fit. I think that His purpose will never leave me bitter if I see it all the way through.
