Yes, the snorkeling is very good at "the Chimney" as well as a # of sites at "the Dog Islands" just off Virgin Gorda in the BVI. In fact, the Dive BVI dive shop takes snorkelers to this site as well as many other sites. See the link for Dive BVI in my description of the site. Have a great day!
Thanks, killdeaht and tuks, it is an incredible dive site and the visibility was outstanding the day of this dive. tuks, this coral head is only in around 15 - 20 ft of water, so it gets a lot of ambient light from the sun. Have a great day!
I don't know how deep you are here:but I remember snorkelling in Australia and seeing some amazing corals and the prettiest fish:one was black with jet red lips:so cute and she actually came up to us:her mouth looked pursed for a kiss!
@scubafoolinBVI I was having problems with my Oly SP350, which took great shots with strobe, TTL, fof 3 yrs, so I bought a new Canon S90 in Fisheye FIX Housing & am very pleased with the results. This is the 1st time I shot video uw and the Canon does a great job. It is also very highly recommended on Scubaboard. I got the camera just a couple of days before we left & neglected to put the diffuser on the strobe. However, this camera did very well for the most part with just ambient light. THX
