  • wat my dad was 2 my mother once she left i'm so glad he made the rite choice :) although my mother aint pretty :P

  • A very young and gorgeous Billy Fury ! So really talented and underrated as a performer and song writer. Still loved and missed very much! Wish you were still here. RIP BILLY.

  • I love this video of the great Billy Fury. Britain's greatest and sadly missed Rocker. A bad heart took Billy away from us too soon. A career that was always hampered by illness, So sad to have lost him so early on. He had more talent than most other performers, but no luck with his health. MISS YOU. RIP BILLY.

  • Wow ! Billy is so wonderful here. Very" Elvislike" style of song. The Ladies in the background look like they are really enjoying themselves.!! Billy was so very handsome and had a beautiful voice He looks so young here perhaps at the very beginning of his career. He was so very unfortunate with his heart problems and the world lost a brilliant sweet gentle man when Billy left us. We miss you so you'll never know. RIP BILLY.

  • Top rocker this, from his self penned album "The Sound of Fury" featuring a young 19 year old guitar player called Joe Brown. Pity he didn't stick with the songwriting and the rock, much of his later stuff was mass media ballads.

  • Wow I wish he was still around. He was taken so young and he struggled so much with his weak heart. So sad. He was a lovely and talented human being and so gorgeous to look at!! !Always remembered and so missed. Love you Billy. RIP.

  • Just Brilliant

  • Like Elvis, Billy died young (heart condition I believe.)

  • Absolute top of Rockabilly Brittain. Great stuff! His best song: Turn My Back On You.

  • Omg i love him!! He looks and sounds like Elvis in this video and Eddie Cochran!! When he does his little twitches and his face expessions and when he finished it looked like Elvis hehe cuz he usually done those things when he sung and danced! ♥.

  • terrific rocker from liverpool...shouldve been the a side

  • Nice hair.

  • all his records are brilliant. long live Billy Fury !!!!

  • I thank my lucky stars that I was a teenager in this era. Everything was new and it was live, what you saw was what you got. If the stars couldn't produce the same sound on stage as on their records they wouldn't survive. Not like todays puppets who mime.

  • observar o coro encontra-se do lado oposto ao de" turn me loose" de cliff .engraçado!

  • His, Sound of Fury ten-inch album is perhaps definitive English Rock and Roll, and a real classic. If you like this people, treat yourselves to the C.D. you wont reget it.

  • OMG takes me back many years, following him all over, climbing on dustbins to see in the dressing rooms, went to see him in Chester got backstage, then the show included Eden Kane Johnny ? The Shadows..oh dear good old days.Had a picture taken with Billy someone lost it on me just like my mother threw out my letter from Elvis...tut tut..where;s my time machine

  • @DoctorScrumpy there is only one fucking retard around here and THATS YOU go and learn something about rock n roll before making such stupid comments YOU FUCKING RETARD

  • Billy was one of the first stoners and eschewed warm beer for the exotic delights of cannabis sativa, which in 1950s Britain was unusual for a white boy from Liverpool. He was also a keen ornitholigist and cared for sick animals and birds on his farm. What a beautiful person , in every sense of the word.

  • Love it..!! I had this on a dvd but gave it to the lovely one. She featured the dvd in one of her vids ...LOL!!

  • I love when guys finish in about a minute. In and out.

Okay, seriously...not a bad tune, reminds me of elvis a bit.

  • He looks like James Dean, sings better thank Cliff Richard and is just so cool. Great stuff.

  • Billy strutting his stuff on the "Oh! Boy" TV Show. A studio version of this song appears on the DECCA [10 inch album]

    SOUND of FURY. Great Stuff.

  • sex on legs

  • billy was a giant of rock n roll so was elvis there is no comparison they were both original.. cliff richard was a brown hatter. and george michale loves to hang around public toilets they were allso great singers.dont compare them for there voices

  • brill,,

  • Billy fury was great but he can't be compared with Elvis.

  • Enough with the Elvis "wanna be" business. How many 2 bit Beatle wanna-be's did America produce in the 60's? Answer: Way too many.

  • Billy sang superior to Elvis anyway....Billy had a much smoother range, as ALWAYS the Brits improved on the Americans where all music was concerned.....want Dylan? Listen to Ronnie Lane's Slim Chance etc etc

  • Beautiful-at least he is ORIGINAL -pity the poor people who pretend to be him on videos and try to pass his recordings off as their own !! xxx

  • We almost think we're seeing and listening to eddie Cochran.

  • Eddie who....

  • Elvis was a fat cunt who wasted his talent.

Billy is the true rock n roller.

    END OF STORY

  • billy wasa massive elvis fan,all his life,

    END OF STORY

  • Still don't change the fact that Elvis was a fat cunt who wasted his abilities.

  • @tribute2elvis ..why not...billy was himself tho

  • Yes,i agree Billy was the only true raw rocker, eat your heart out cliff, lets not forget Joe Brown another underatted fantastic guitar player as well, btu Billy was cool...

  • The only British rocker of the 60's worth a damn...incredibly handsome,a talented songwriter and a wonderful voice...RIP Billy.

  • @LILACTIME

Whilst I agree Billy was brilliant, your comment is rubbish as Britain produced some excellent Rockers such as, Johnny Kidd, Tommy steel, Cliff Richard, Vince Taylor and others

  • what a man wow

  • I agree with every comment above this one. The best did not always come from the U.S. FANTASTIC!!! THANKS FOR POSTING!!!

    Kockin' In TEXAS!!!

  • 14 chick backing vocalists, not bad !

  • Where is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame when it comes to music charts other than the USA? NOWHERE! Billy Fury was a keystone in the development of rock and roll (Now a world music) beyond these shores. And the list other worthies is quite long indeed.

  • He was among the best of the rock-n-roll artists of the 50s and 60s, and one of the few artists who was writing and recording his own material at this time.

  • You absolutely correct! And was he not from Liverpool?

If can find it "Roots of British Rock" Vol 1 on Sire,1975 is a great double elpee covering UK rock, at its best, from about 1956-1963.

  • yeah he was from liverpool and was in same class as ringo star

  • WOW what a kat! he is the number one performer and oh so sexy! would love to have been his girl.

  • Billys best Rocker.....................
