megagrey Is a typical Liberal Lunatic. misunderstanding everything he reads. When you show the misconduct if his beloved Democrats all he can say is that the Republicans do it to. Does that mean we should excuse it? When the Republicans are caught they get punished, Nixon and Newt had to resign just for starts. I wish there weren't useful idiots like him supporting Tyrants. Then we could get around to picking the best among those not proven to be enemies of the USA.
One more thing Obama care has nothing to do with providing health care it has everything to do with taking our money, controlling the economy and what we do. We have a system that takes care of our need. We don't need yet another program giving out health care.
@wwhit2001 This is just too rich. While ranting and raving about all the evil, underhanded things the new healthcare law is going to force on America, at the same time WWhit ASKS how it's supposed to work. Going from knowing all about the evil conspiracy behind it to wondering just how the law functions. On top of that, he insists a system is in place to suit America's healthcare needs but in another comment practically ADMITS some people need help getting it. And somehow I'm the raving lunatic
@megagrey I was saying you are lying through your teeth about the Health care bill. You say it will give everyone free health care, then contradict yourself by saying that there is no public option. Which is it? Do it give people health care or not?
Commie, Nazi, Crony Capitalism who cares. I am not ready to give up the freedoms that we fought and died for. Oh god proteanview just totally owned and served Herman Cain, on a pizza plate. Proteanview 2012.
You know that right-wingers will come up with a way to defend what Cain's doing, then turn around and criticize people who need help, IE health care and various disability. The saddest part is the republican sheep, like many who watch Fox News, will buy any excuse used, then agree when Fox calls uninsured people "lazy." This just goes to show how many lack our own views and follow blindly.
@raspberrymuffin You are just another fool fighting for his own subjugation. We had a system that helped all that needed it but that wasn't good enough for you. You want to force everyone else to pay for what you want. The end results is that no one will get health care. People will die waiting for their needed heath care. You are, as Your hero Stalin called you, a useful idiot.
You jump to the conclusion that I am communist. I may be, I may not be. I'm neutrally saying it shows the hypocrisy of GOP voters as they vilify many & excuse people like Cain. Secondly, there's no evidence such services hurt society...if anything, politicians who steal tax dollars are who hurt us. Third, you assume I like Stalin without evidence. You assume many things, without knowing my personal opinions or political standing. Your arguments are fallacious, and therefore invalid.
@raspberrymuffin How do the politicians get to steal your money they keep crying for more money for what every reason. No matter how you look it it Obama out spent the rest put together. Republicans my not be perfect but they don't promise to give the voters everything they want to the backs of the rich. If you don't want the politicians to steal tax dollars don't support it.
They steal money by giving corporate bailouts. They steal by giving hand-outs to leaders of foreign countries. They steal by spending on worthless efforts, IE tax dollars used in efforts of pursuing what people laugh at online. Lobbyists are a best friend to many politicians. Most Americans were against the bailouts of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. I certainly do not like the democratic party, but I have no trust in republicans either. They're both 2 of the same thing IMO.
@raspberrymuffin raspberrymuffin is a reasonable, intelligence person I jumped to a conclusion about. Please next time someone does that tell them what you believe instead of how they got it wrong. megagrey is a Raving Lunatic who puts words in to my mouth and jumps to conclusions. Half my time here was telling megagrey how he misrepresented what I said.
@raspberrymuffin Paranoid teabagging shills like Wwhit think anyone who doesn't fall in line with them at their command is automatically a filthy, seditious commie. The 'you're with me or against me' mentality. The mentality of a child.
Lol just responded to you, then found this afterwards. Yes, I definitely agree with you though, the fallacious "you're with me or against me" mentality. Which is quite foolish, as we don't live in an all black-and-white world, but rather very gray one. Plus the fact that we have such political standings as libertarian, moderate, independent, etc... goes to show just how many different kinds of people are out there. The thing that really scares me about the far-wingers is they vote.
If the KKK is not leftist how did Robert Carlyle Byrd get elected as a Democrat running on the fact he was a clan member? The KKK was started by Democrats in part to stop the blacks from voting Republican. Why does the KKK support Occupy wall street?
About 'death panels' how on earth do you have free health care or free anything with out rationing one more thing when Obama care gets enacted, after the next presidential election, boy that was brave, no one over 70 will be allowed Neurosurgery.
@wwhit2001 Yes, Senator Byrd, who publicly recanted, enjoyed black support and got AN 100% RATING from the NAACP was a staunch racist till the end. Sure. And the rabidly anticommunist rhetoric of the KKK, outright paranoia of any government policy, including fluoridization of water...SURELY marks it as leftist. Uh-huh. And the Reps and Dems of the late 1800s are EXACTLY LIKE how both parties are today. Right.
The healthcare rant I can just dismiss since there wasn't even a public option in it.
@megagrey And the Green's think everyone should die because we are a plague on this earth. Everyone of the Democrat factions have one thing in common, Government must get bigger. With the Environment protection Agency and Obama care the government can now claim control of everything. EPA out of the body and Obama care to do with the body.
@wwhit2001 Ah yes, blanket accusations and generalizations from a right-wing shill. Easily dismissed with a wave of a hard when considering government gets bigger under every Republican president EVER. ESPECIALLY Reagan and W Bush. And the constant lying about 'death panels' can be handwaved away by a quick look at reality: the free market ALREADY does rationing. By prices. And by denying those with preexisting conditions, now banned by this law that keeps the private insurance industry INTACT.
@megagrey The government got bigger under Reagan because the Democrats where in control of both the house and the Senate. It got bigger under Bush because Bush foolishly believed that he could work with the Democrats. About preexisting conditions I have asthma My wife Has Hepatitis C I've gotten insurance every time I worked. I have not worked for the last year thanks to Obama. That's why I want Obama gone and a conservative Republican, like Cain, that will cut regulation and the budget.
@wwhit2001 Aren't double standards great? Blame the growth of govt under Reagan on a Dem Congress, but today's GOP House and filibustering GOP senators have NO culpability for the current gridlock. And it's not like massive programs like SDI under Reagan led to ballooning govt, or the Dept of Homeland Security under Bush. And correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't your main man Cain say people have only themselves to blame if they're unemployed? Stop whining to someone who has a job and get to it.
Don't be too shocked by this guy megagrey...if this person is not a troll, they are a blatant far-right wing-nut (likely a conservative-republican) who's caught up in their own ideology and deluded into thinking that only democrats grow government, when it's quite obviously republicans grow government constantly, and often in ways democrats disagree. I wouldn't be surprised if they watch Fox News, who's known for spoon feeding viewers right-wing propaganda. Thank god for 3rd parties.
@megagrey How dumb can you get? The filibustering GOP are trying to cut spending. Just like when Reagan tried to cut spending, fools like you whine about it and complain about gridlock. Gridlock means the Republicans are doing their job. If you want to stop thieving politicians then stop complaining when the Republicans are trying to stop them.
@wwhit2001 In the 80s, gridlock the likes of which we're seeing did not exist. Reagan could work fine with the Democratic leadership. As for today's GOP, when a Repub VP says 'deficits don't matter', then the GOP whines about spending when a Democrat gets in the WH, while keeping our bloated defense budget and corporate welfare off the table...I call BS. The Dems offered the GOP spending plans that slashed upwards of $3T, but because of some tax hikes on the wealthy, they threw a tantrum.
@megagrey In the 80s Reagan caved giving us those huge budges. We need our defense but you are right about corporate welfare the government can't pick winners and losers it hurts everyone. The only cut I heard of was to transfer money to Obamacare. The Republicans offered loophole cuts but rate increases will cut Government revenue. Kennedy proved it when he cut taxes.
@wwhit2001 So Reagan was a pussy too eager to compromise?
When the US spends more on defense than the next ten nations COMBINED, don't tell me there's no fat to trim.
There's something else about Obama's detractors that mystifies me. Slamming Obama for following classic Keynesian economics, but praise Kennedy's tax cuts which he supported because of Keynesian theory. Tax cuts or government spending can help increase aggregate demand, but back in the 60s, taxes weren't already at historic lows.
@megagrey Keynesian economics is just an excuse to spend more money. If you must run with Keynesian do it the Greenspan way. Use the Federal reserve to control cash flow. I don't like Keynesian and I don't like the fact my money has no true value. When the Government spends more money, for what every reason, it never ends.
@wwhit2001 So somehow, the Federal Reserve only used open-market operations to affect money supply and velocity under Alan Greenspan? At no other time did the Fed perform the functions it was FOUNDED for? And again, no righties complain about Kennedy following Keynesian theory when he explained his rationale for tax cuts. Yet another brazen double standard. If there's anything I've learned NOT to expect from the foaming-at-the-mouth far right, it's consistency.
@megagrey I answered this question. Why are you being redundant? I hate that the Democrats use Keynesian as an excuse to increase taxes and spending. The Federal reserve has 3 methods to control cash flow with out printing us into hyper inflation, spending us into insurmountable debt or taxing us into a long term depression. I don't know if Alan Greenspan was the only one who did it he just was the only one I knew who did it.
@megagrey What functions was the Federal Reserve FOUNDED for that the Constitution didn't limited to the Congress? So Kennedy did the right thing using the Keynesian theory even a broken clock can be right twice a day. If you weren't foaming-at-the-mouth you would know the difference between an example and an exclusive case.
@wwhit2001 Yeah yeah, know where this is going, stuff in economics classes that stem from Keynes' work is part of some evil liberal godless commie conspiracy, yadda yadda. Heard the same drivel from creationists when it comes to evolution in classes, but I refused to make that leap of logic with you. Then I saw Eye2EyeIIIV in your subscriptions and now I gotta wonder. 'Foaming-at-the-mouth' aptly describes those who rant about conspiracies, not those who call out such lunacy.
@wwhit2001 And again, I call BS about the ranting about spending as if only Democrats do it. Not when the last GOP president who balanced the budget was Eisenhower, when there was nary a peep about deficit spending during W Bush's time, and when a Republican Congress had no qualms about debt ceiling hikes under W Bush. And I still just dismiss the whining about healthcare, since the new law takes formerly Republican proposals from a few years ago and mirror's Romney's policies in Massachussets.
The modern KKK actually has more neoconservative mentality than modern liberal...they are often very religious, very homophobic, racist (which is common on both sides), & claim to be anti-government. If anything, they lean towards republican ideology. Also don't let conservative-republicans fool you, republicans are just as pro-large government as democrats, which is likely a large reason why libertarianism is growing in America. Libertarians are the only group for small government.
@raspberrymuffin Now I'm confused. You claim to be libertarian and you bash Cain? He is almost as libertarian as Ron Paul. If I have my way Ron Paul would be Vice President with full control of the internal affairs of the USA, energy taxes, regulations, the whole works. I wish we could pull out of all foreign but I think there are to many enemies closing around us.
I didn't claim to be liberal or libertarian...I never said my standing. I could be independent.
I bash Cain because he's a hypocrite. He claims we should shouldn't spend tax dollars so quickly, then he gets protection from the Secret Service, when he's not even president. He treats people who look for health care as demanding hand-outs, then he takes services he's not entitled to.
Personally, I don't fully agree with him, but Paul (and Gary Johnson) are my top-choice republicans.
Before I start I do admit your view point is well thought out BUT Herman Cain IS a public figure and the Klan is a Leftest organization and is very likely to attack a Republican minority then a Democrat minority. Senator Robert Byrd campaign focus on the fact he was a Ku Klux Klan member. It might have been better if Herman Cain hired Security I understand why he didn't.
I would like to understand how you are right when anytime your opponent acts like you, they are wrong?
@wwhit2001 i believe he's pointing out the hipocrisy in someone who's against health care that uses taxpayer's money for his own safety... if he wants people to fend for themselves, he's a big hypocrite, and an egoist one at that for not paying himself, no matter the danger he's in. His opponent, who's "acting like him" is promoting a system in which money is spent by evryone, for evryone, and is true to that when asking for protection.
@ThinkerResearcher And I was pointing out his hypocrisy for condemning a Republican for acting like a Democrat. If the Republicans see a Democrat acting like a Republican even partially we praise them for their wisdom. Yes, it would have been better if he paid for it himself but the KKK is part of the Democrat and there threat could easily have been the DNC attempting to ether lower his creditability or assets. Cain must have worried more about his assets then his creditability.
@wwhit2001 And yet there's all the flak Obama got for the health care reform bill. Even though it contained no public option and what were originally Republican proposals (including the mandate) . Plus a state measure similar to it was passed under a GOP ex-governor now running for president.
@wwhit2001 Oh yes, that cemented your credibility, the brazen lie about 'death panels'. Then I reread older comments about the KKK supposedly being 'leftist' and realized you had no credibility to begin with.
The farther to the right you go, the more regal the welfare queens become. I mean, look at the "Defence" Industry. Congress wont dare to cut their "entitlements"..then of course Israel. DItto
I don't get any protection but the baseball bat next to my door for the death threats I have had from just commenting on videos on YT. I had to buy my own bat.
Herman Cain pays taxes too, and as long as he does he should be able to rely on some government services. He'd just rather not pay taxes or have those services.
@korrdxl so the next time protean gets a death threat, he too should get secret service protection? i think you missed the point. not only that, for a man who wants to make cuts, why is using more govt services?
Cain is sunk, within a months time we'll stop hearing from him.. He was sunk the moment the attacks began, he said he was prepared for them and when they came, he said they were racially motivated. Herman, the media is not all over you because you're black, it's because you're not a lockstep Democrat, as if every plan being "gather some experts to tell me what to do" is acceptable, ever.
@gothatfunk he's a dangerous joke. Last I had seen, admittedly like a week or more ago, he was leading the poles. People are tired of Obama's lack of change, imo, and that means he might end up in charge....
which might not be all bad. He makes money on Godfather's Pizza, or did, and seriously you shouldn't be able to give that away. Yes, it's that bad
@DigitalDel1 yep, but he never stated that he was against government assistance and he never stated that people without insurance should help themselves. Since people without insurance need to help themselves he should pay for his own protection rather than expecting government (taxpayers) to pay for his protection.
@DigitalDel1 But he is a democrat. No hyprocrisy there. But Hermain Cain, along with other Republicans are against handsouts from the govt. So its not the same.
Actually, that is a good question to ask. Does anyone running for president...or any office for that matter....get protection from the secret service?
BTW, we've been paying for the "security" of the "top" 1% for decades, probably forever. Everything that's done in this country is for the protection of the DC & Wall St. shysters & business criminals.
So, I hear what you're saying, but it's meaningless in the face of all the wars, etc. that are fought only for the protection of the Filthy Rich pigs. Does anyone think that Iran or anyone else wants to decimate the 99%?
@TripleSpeak Do you think all of America's enamies are suddenly going to forgive America and its people for all the "crimes" that we've commited.
Example: Are the people of Iraq, Afghanistan if given the chance are they going to just say "aw those silly little Americans" or might they be out for some blood.
Usually people who want revenge, don't give a crap about colateral damage. So yeah, 1%, 99%, who cares. Its an American who bombed us for no reason.
@StuffedAnimalAdvisor I agree w/you. However, I've really been surprised at the understanding of other people. Many ppl around the world know how impossible "our" media is, etc., & how misled Americans have been. So, yeah, for those who've actually experienced being collateral in Amerika's atrocities...most will hate all of us & who could blame them? My point is still that the 99% are propping these assholes up, because reasonable ppl know who the real culprits are. Peace.
Makes you wonder, though... how come they approved this? Did they do this for every other fly-by-night loser that ran for president? No? Then why this one?
My bet is because he's a GOP puppet, put in place to draw the black vote to the republican party where he will be swapped out for someone else. Same as Palin was there to draw the female vote to the republican party, and away from Hillary.
@blahblahblahman LOL "dont mix with our women, date your own kind, keep our lineage pure blah blah blah." Its not rape when its consensual bro. Welcome to 2011 where most women dont see color and date whomever has their shit most together in life and isn't an insecure doucher obsessed with race.
Rotflmao! So true, all the politicians will cry you a river, but when it comes to their goodies and benefits from the government get out of their way!
Well herman cain is a big government republican like most of them. Remember he complains about how Ron Paul is always talking about wanting to "end this and end that".
I hope Cain realizes that even secret service guys get shot up. They don't wear bullet proof "all over body wear" and footwear. If they get shot in the hands, they will not be able to fire in retaliation. Most importantly, their skulls are wide open! I don't see the point. Why can't Cain just duck and weave? Evasive maneuvers work for football players and boxers, don't they?
My guess is that ol' Herman wanted the protection so that it would (and did), become a news story and make him a "legitimate candidate" in the eyes of more people. (That will fail, and so will he.)
You don't see santorum(not capitalized because I'm not using it as a proper noun) asking for SS protection from the gays, though he has been begging Google for help dealing with their retribution. :-D Muhahahaha
His brothers from another mother would have no problem coming up with the money for some bodyguards for their puppet if there was an honest threat on that clown.
Obama needed SS early because he's a Democrat and the Republicans are the nut-job bigots in love with their guns.
Cain's just a whiny little bitch looking for attention.
You're absolutely right!.. Except for the notion that a private security company would cost MORE, lol.
I'm willing to bet anything that the federal security force is exponentially more expensive, so Cain would be doing us all a favor if he compromised and just used tax funds to hire a security contractor.
hey I mean Obama got more SS protection than any candidate in history, but yeah Obama never told anyone he was for 'less govt', lol and the KKK line is absolutely childish. I have never even seen a 'KKK person' , ever, and I live most of my life in the south, so how can they be so ubiquitous when they are 'needed' (for the sake of political expediency of course). Oh I forgot , the "KKK" also endorsed Obama back in 08, maybe they are worried he wont get re-elected! LMOA!
@surfin4 Both parties are in the same pair of pockets. I wouldn't put anything past those deep pockets to do if they thought they could make something to their favor out of it, that certainly includes sabotage and even violent sabotage, and certainly murder - wouldn't be the first time they killed someone that was on their side, and blamed some other 'group'. They demand loyalty from their politician critters, they give ruin in return.
Repubs are all so inconsistent. They say one thing and then ask for another for their own purposes and constituents. I'd venture to say most politicians seem to be this way. double-talk, back-stabbing, and inconsistent to their moral core.
@robertantonnyc He's not your candidate? So should all candidates have to pay for their own security or just the Republican ones? Don't you see that if we didn't provide security to candidates threats and intimidation would run less well funded candidates out of the race? We can't let a violent minority undermine democracy.
For these people, it's not so much the hand-outs, it's who gets them. We have a caste system in America. We don't have a problem sending bailout money to bankers who fail at their jobs. We don't have a problem paying medicare to millionaires. The republicans send YOUR tax money to all sorts of undeserving people, but the minute a pariah asks for money to feed their kids, they act as if there is no government, and they became rich all on their own. This is why their philosophy is inconsistent.
@simex909 So Obama is a Republican too? After all, he bailed out several mega corps and withheld Social Security payments as a form of ransom to get his agenda passed. In a sense you're right, but to think it's only Republicans is rather naive.
@rataMacue22 The democrats run on the platform of a feature-rich government that is constantly steering the ship with taxpayer money. The republicans run on the opposite platform. It's true that they both DO the same thing, but one party is being hypocritical when they do it and the other is not. Nice straw man.
@simex909 Hmm from the outside it appears that no such thing is happening. How can the GOP send money that people never pay to the rich? Are tax cuts sending money to the rich in any real sense. Or is it just less tax churning. There is little doubt that today the democrats are a party of the rich as much as the GOP. All top wall street donors give to Dems. Same in Canada, nearly all big business, minus ones in Alberta and SASK are big liberal party supporters.
I'm not talking about taxes, I'm talking about the things I gave as examples. I never said the democrats were not a party of the rich, and I never said the republicans were.
If you believe that the role of the state is to protect you, then there is no problem with what Herman is getting.
Also, you would be wrong about that belief, but if the state does not exist to protect you from violence (it does not), if the state does not exist to protect you from poverty (it does not). Why does anyone need it?
@utubehayter If any of us get a death threat the secret service isn't going to go on watch to protect us. At best we'd be looking at a police report and perhaps a drive-by by the local beat cop or a phone call every 12 hours to see if we're still alive.
Yep! What is funny is secret service isn't going to protect Cain either. Security is always an illusion. Secret service is a very expensive and far more tangible one, but still an illusion.
@utubehayter To protect us from living our lives in liberty as we see fit. To protect us from keeping the fruits of our labor. To protect us from being free individuals. Duh!
OBAMA SEALED ALL HIS RECORDS AND HIS WIFE'S RECORDS DAY ONE. NUFF SAID.
YOU ARE WORRIED ABOUT CAIN TAKING YOUR MONEY? OBAMA IS THE SPENDER IN CHIEF, LEAR SOMETHING BEYOND YOUR LIBERAL CRAP.

If the KKK is not leftist how did Robert Carlyle Byrd get elected as a Democrat running on the fact he was a clan member? The KKK was started by Democrats in part to stop the blacks from voting Republican. Why does the KKK support Occupy wall street?
About 'death panels' how on earth do you have free health care or free anything with out rationing one more thing when Obama care gets enacted, after the next presidential election, boy that was brave, no one over 70 will be allowed Neurosurgery.
wwhit2001 3 months ago
@wwhit2001 Yes, Senator Byrd, who publicly recanted, enjoyed black support and got AN 100% RATING from the NAACP was a staunch racist till the end. Sure. And the rabidly anticommunist rhetoric of the KKK, outright paranoia of any government policy, including fluoridization of water...SURELY marks it as leftist. Uh-huh. And the Reps and Dems of the late 1800s are EXACTLY LIKE how both parties are today. Right.
The healthcare rant I can just dismiss since there wasn't even a public option in it.
megagrey 3 months ago
@megagrey And the Green's think everyone should die because we are a plague on this earth. Everyone of the Democrat factions have one thing in common, Government must get bigger. With the Environment protection Agency and Obama care the government can now claim control of everything. EPA out of the body and Obama care to do with the body.
wwhit2001 3 months ago
@wwhit2001 Ah yes, blanket accusations and generalizations from a right-wing shill. Easily dismissed with a wave of a hard when considering government gets bigger under every Republican president EVER. ESPECIALLY Reagan and W Bush. And the constant lying about 'death panels' can be handwaved away by a quick look at reality: the free market ALREADY does rationing. By prices. And by denying those with preexisting conditions, now banned by this law that keeps the private insurance industry INTACT.
megagrey 3 months ago
@megagrey The government got bigger under Reagan because the Democrats where in control of both the house and the Senate. It got bigger under Bush because Bush foolishly believed that he could work with the Democrats. About preexisting conditions I have asthma My wife Has Hepatitis C I've gotten insurance every time I worked. I have not worked for the last year thanks to Obama. That's why I want Obama gone and a conservative Republican, like Cain, that will cut regulation and the budget.
wwhit2001 3 months ago
@wwhit2001 Aren't double standards great? Blame the growth of govt under Reagan on a Dem Congress, but today's GOP House and filibustering GOP senators have NO culpability for the current gridlock. And it's not like massive programs like SDI under Reagan led to ballooning govt, or the Dept of Homeland Security under Bush. And correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't your main man Cain say people have only themselves to blame if they're unemployed? Stop whining to someone who has a job and get to it.
megagrey 3 months ago
@megagrey
Thank god for 3rd parties.
raspberrymuffin 3 months ago
@megagrey How dumb can you get? The filibustering GOP are trying to cut spending. Just like when Reagan tried to cut spending, fools like you whine about it and complain about gridlock. Gridlock means the Republicans are doing their job. If you want to stop thieving politicians then stop complaining when the Republicans are trying to stop them.
wwhit2001 3 months ago
@wwhit2001 In the 80s, gridlock the likes of which we're seeing did not exist. Reagan could work fine with the Democratic leadership. As for today's GOP, when a Repub VP says 'deficits don't matter', then the GOP whines about spending when a Democrat gets in the WH, while keeping our bloated defense budget and corporate welfare off the table...I call BS. The Dems offered the GOP spending plans that slashed upwards of $3T, but because of some tax hikes on the wealthy, they threw a tantrum.
megagrey 3 months ago
@megagrey In the 80s Reagan caved giving us those huge budges. We need our defense but you are right about corporate welfare the government can't pick winners and losers it hurts everyone. The only cut I heard of was to transfer money to Obamacare. The Republicans offered loophole cuts but rate increases will cut Government revenue. Kennedy proved it when he cut taxes.
wwhit2001 3 months ago
@wwhit2001 So Reagan was a pussy too eager to compromise?
When the US spends more on defense than the next ten nations COMBINED, don't tell me there's no fat to trim.
There's something else about Obama's detractors that mystifies me. Slamming Obama for following classic Keynesian economics, but praise Kennedy's tax cuts which he supported because of Keynesian theory. Tax cuts or government spending can help increase aggregate demand, but back in the 60s, taxes weren't already at historic lows.
megagrey 3 months ago
@megagrey Keynesian economics is just an excuse to spend more money. If you must run with Keynesian do it the Greenspan way. Use the Federal reserve to control cash flow. I don't like Keynesian and I don't like the fact my money has no true value. When the Government spends more money, for what every reason, it never ends.
wwhit2001 3 months ago
@wwhit2001 So somehow, the Federal Reserve only used open-market operations to affect money supply and velocity under Alan Greenspan? At no other time did the Fed perform the functions it was FOUNDED for? And again, no righties complain about Kennedy following Keynesian theory when he explained his rationale for tax cuts. Yet another brazen double standard. If there's anything I've learned NOT to expect from the foaming-at-the-mouth far right, it's consistency.
megagrey 3 months ago
@megagrey I answered this question. Why are you being redundant? I hate that the Democrats use Keynesian as an excuse to increase taxes and spending. The Federal reserve has 3 methods to control cash flow with out printing us into hyper inflation, spending us into insurmountable debt or taxing us into a long term depression. I don't know if Alan Greenspan was the only one who did it he just was the only one I knew who did it.
wwhit2001 3 months ago
@megagrey What functions was the Federal Reserve FOUNDED for that the Constitution didn't limited to the Congress? So Kennedy did the right thing using the Keynesian theory even a broken clock can be right twice a day. If you weren't foaming-at-the-mouth you would know the difference between an example and an exclusive case.
wwhit2001 3 months ago
@wwhit2001 Yeah yeah, know where this is going, stuff in economics classes that stem from Keynes' work is part of some evil liberal godless commie conspiracy, yadda yadda. Heard the same drivel from creationists when it comes to evolution in classes, but I refused to make that leap of logic with you. Then I saw Eye2EyeIIIV in your subscriptions and now I gotta wonder. 'Foaming-at-the-mouth' aptly describes those who rant about conspiracies, not those who call out such lunacy.
megagrey 3 months ago
@wwhit2001 And again, I call BS about the ranting about spending as if only Democrats do it. Not when the last GOP president who balanced the budget was Eisenhower, when there was nary a peep about deficit spending during W Bush's time, and when a Republican Congress had no qualms about debt ceiling hikes under W Bush. And I still just dismiss the whining about healthcare, since the new law takes formerly Republican proposals from a few years ago and mirror's Romney's policies in Massachussets.
megagrey 3 months ago
@megagrey I do want to ask one thing. If Obama care has no public option, how does it help anyone get health care?
wwhit2001 3 months ago
@megagrey So your accusing me of calling Reagan a pussy for caving in to 535 legislators and the main stream media. Is that foam on your lip?
wwhit2001 3 months ago
@wwhit2001
Libertarians are the only group for small government.
raspberrymuffin 3 months ago
@raspberrymuffin Now I'm confused. You claim to be libertarian and you bash Cain? He is almost as libertarian as Ron Paul. If I have my way Ron Paul would be Vice President with full control of the internal affairs of the USA, energy taxes, regulations, the whole works. I wish we could pull out of all foreign but I think there are to many enemies closing around us.
wwhit2001 3 months ago
@wwhit2001

I would like to understand how you are right when anytime your opponent acts like you, they are wrong?
wwhit2001 3 months ago
@wwhit2001 i believe he's pointing out the hipocrisy in someone who's against health care that uses taxpayer's money for his own safety... if he wants people to fend for themselves, he's a big hypocrite, and an egoist one at that for not paying himself, no matter the danger he's in. His opponent, who's "acting like him" is promoting a system in which money is spent by evryone, for evryone, and is true to that when asking for protection.
ThinkerResearcher 3 months ago
@ThinkerResearcher And I was pointing out his hypocrisy for condemning a Republican for acting like a Democrat. If the Republicans see a Democrat acting like a Republican even partially we praise them for their wisdom. Yes, it would have been better if he paid for it himself but the KKK is part of the Democrat and there threat could easily have been the DNC attempting to ether lower his creditability or assets. Cain must have worried more about his assets then his creditability.
wwhit2001 3 months ago
@wwhit2001 And yet there's all the flak Obama got for the health care reform bill. Even though it contained no public option and what were originally Republican proposals (including the mandate) . Plus a state measure similar to it was passed under a GOP ex-governor now running for president.
megagrey 3 months ago
@megagrey Ok I guess it's OK for a Republican to take over 1/7 of the US economy and install death panels.
wwhit2001 3 months ago

BTW, we've been paying for the "security" of the "top" 1% for decades, probably forever. Everything that's done in this country is for the protection of the DC & Wall St. shysters & business criminals.
So, I hear what you're saying, but it's meaningless in the face of all the wars, etc. that are fought only for the protection of the Filthy Rich pigs. Does anyone think that Iran or anyone else wants to decimate the 99%?
TripleSpeak 3 months ago
@TripleSpeak Do you think all of America's enamies are suddenly going to forgive America and its people for all the "crimes" that we've commited.
Example: Are the people of Iraq, Afghanistan if given the chance are they going to just say "aw those silly little Americans" or might they be out for some blood.
Usually people who want revenge, don't give a crap about colateral damage. So yeah, 1%, 99%, who cares. Its an American who bombed us for no reason.
StuffedAnimalAdvisor 3 months ago
@StuffedAnimalAdvisor I agree w/you. However, I've really been surprised at the understanding of other people. Many ppl around the world know how impossible "our" media is, etc., & how misled Americans have been. My point is still that the 99% are propping these assholes up, because reasonable ppl know who the real culprits are. Peace.

This is why their philosophy is inconsistent.

rataMacue22 3 months ago
@rataMacue22 The democrats run on the platform of a feature-rich government that is constantly steering the ship with taxpayer money. The republicans run on the opposite platform. simex909 3 months ago
