Just talked to a friend this minute who has this trailer on 8mm film. I suspect he will be wanting to sell it on Ebay. He wonders if it has much value. It was posted to him by the studio sometime in the late 1970's.
Since when is Deep Blue Sea good? Personally, I think it's worse than Tintorera. Of course the on-screen killing of animals is unacceptable, but it was also a common practice in many countries. Apocalypse Now is considered to be one of the greatest films of all time, even though it includes the killing of a cow. I'm not comparing the two, nor am I defending such acts of genuine violence, but there's no point in telling people not to watch this.
In the sick days when sharks were actually killed on screen in films. If you enjoy sharks being butchered, watch this. If you prefer films without sharks sacrificed for film directors, then watch some other terrible, low-budget shark horror. Or, just watch a good un' like Jaws or Deep Blue Sea.
