  • People just look at me weird when I tell them that this is my favorite Led Zeppelin song. But then again, people just look at me weird no matter what I'm saying...

  • 90年のネブワースか。まだ全盛期のオーラが残ってるな。

  • 何だ、最初に出てきた薬中毒みたいなのはよ。多分もう生きてはいないだろうけどさ。

  • This is from Knebworth in the late 80's,

  • Lovely:))

  • 0:00 to 1:00 was awkward lol

  • that voice so nice

  • Love the purple Les Paul. But that has to be the Worst snare sound EVER. Good Grief

  • @couch63 nothing is worse than Lars Ulrichs WHOLE DRUMKIT on St Anger

  • @penfifteen666 nothing is worse than political agenda type advertising on youtube..

  • @bamboneski mmmkay?

  • I Love this song. One of the best live songs ever!

  • I have a guitar just like Jimmy's,COOL

  • This isn't Led Zeppelin. This is Page & Plant.

    Where's JPJ? Where's Bonzo?

  • @VictorRechnageL Bonzo is dead..

  • @VictorRechnageL Bonzo is 6ft under. JPJ wasn't invited :(

  • @VictorRechnageL This was from CODA which was released after Bonzo's death. IIRC this was from their reunion in 1990. From what I understand it's the only time they played this live. Dis Page & Plant all you want but for those of us too young in the 70's or not even born this is as close as we can get to watching Led Zep live...

  • @JasperObama the guitarist shat a brick

  • i think bonham is rolling over in his grave b/c he didnt get a chance to play this with them

  • Man id love to just be able to effortlessly rip on the guitar like that.

  • one of the best post zeppelin shows , jimmy plays real great here

    i love this guitar sound

  • damn...stop being a critic and enjoy the damn music. If you think you know so friggin much, why arent you on stage??

  • You wonder what would have been if bonzo was still alive.

  • Did you know that this song was writed about Page's heroin-abuse during the late 70's...

  • szuper!

    csávó 0:01 - nél és a másik a hangfal mellett 1:41 :DDD

  • jimmy page rocks so fucking hard. wish bonham was crushing those drums behind him.

  • It's amazing: this song is about wearing AND tearing

  • the band playing with Plant and Page were Plant's solo band, back in the 90's!

Knebworth 1990!!! Still one of the best live recordings of Page and Plant together.....awesome to see them having a ball together...luv JP's facials!! Priceless!

  • please could you tell me if Plant was wearing earrings?

  • though page and plant are the ICONS of zeppelin, it really is a lot different and somewhat of a lower quality of sound without jones, and more importantly, bonham. not to mention the 10 years after their prime. don't get me wrong though. it's all solid gold. i would sell my soul to the devil for Robert Plant & The Strange Sensation tickets. ah ha ha ha

  • @JasperObama Lol, if I were the guitarist, i'd offer him my guitar. But, I'm sure he'd have his baby with him :p. I'd feel inferior.

  • one of their best

  • i remeber seeing this live when it aired

  • There´s no hope for mankind while a drummer like this exists... Shame on him... BONZO FOREVER !!!

  • whats with the gloves on the drumber

  • @AUSTINRINT i dont think he wants to get calluses on his hands, very smart, and you dont know where those drumsticks have been

  • I can guarantee you Jonesy was at home watching this chuckling while sipping on some tea.

  • @whipit4me he wouldnt be on his couch watching tv u dope shutup

  • @viperlegendkiller Yeah because you have been listening to Zeppelin for how long??? Kid your 20 years old?? I was listening to Zeppelin while you were still in the semen stage.

  • you all wrong it is from 1988 benefit show dummies

  • @MrJohnnybegood70 Your wrong.

  • @MrJohnnybegood70 you're wrong. the benefit show was in 1985

  • Jimmy page got up & played with Robert Plants band of that year.

Sounds pretty damn good to me.

Plant & Page are well up & Rockin for this track.

    It Kicks well!

  • This Glastonbury 1995! England.

  • This Glastonbury 1995! England.

  • @1topers i was at this concert with it is knebworth 90 nordoff robins benefit gig one hell of a line up except for sir cliff paul mc elton john eric clapton genesis jimi page robert plant pink floyd etc

  • @philiplindblom i dunno, maybe utah?

  • Tama SUCKS!

  • The eighties were a wasteland of Reaganism, yuppies, death and, and . . . . Medication!!!!!

  • Awww what a cute little cover band. :B

  • led zeppelins punk song.

  • @phlizmo always thought the same myself

  • those musicians playing with page and plant we're probably thinking "holy shit. i'm actually fucking playing with jimmy page and robert plant" they probably werent sure if it was a dream or not

  • @jjk696969 probably you're probably right!

  • Page and Plant in the 90s were 10x better than this.

  • This is Robert Plant's spot at Knebworth 1990. Jimmy Page joined in and did a couple of Zep tunes. I think with the joining of these 2 paved the way for promoting what was coming later that year... The Box Set.

  • page is still the KING

  • Does anyone remember laughter ?? ;D

  • @JasperObama this comment made my day.

  • poor 2 guys still mourning bonham and trying to deal with the shitty 80s like the rest of us had to. they sound better now.

  • @bulletman100 Spot on, though this was 1990. I know exactly what you mean.

  • plant sounds good here...surprisingly good...can not imagine this is an easy one to sing

  • This was never performed live by the group prior to Bonzo's death, but this was an excellent performance by Plant. Had one of the best beats of any of their songs.

  • When was this?

  • @PlayChessByMail knebworth 1990 ;)

  • not zeppelin without john paul jones and john boham we would say robert ?jimmy who

  • if bonzo were hear, he'd smash the daylights of those drums

  • I've got the video this is taken from. It's not bad, but it's Page and Plant and not Led Zeppelin.

  • @Paulph04 It is really good but I do have to agree it's just not zep without the Johns. It really took all 4 of them tobe LED ZEP. But that will be the closest we will ever see.

  • Bonzo would've punched out the drum tech and sound guy for making the snare sound that thin

  • @PutItAway101

No way Lee would have been playing if Bonzo were alive.

  • @PutItAway101 Right on on that one. Good Ear! That cats petty tight back there no slouch though?

  • @PutItAway101 my dad told me he didnt play with drum mics. that he was able to hit them loud n proud even over the crowds and shiiiit

  • Plant and Page are so cute !!! :) They are like little playful kids that truly love each other like best friends. I love it, and I love this song especially this version. Bad ass genuine Zeppelin sound !

  • Yeah, Bonzo is missed on this one. i saw them on the first Page/Plant tour, ('94 I think) and the drummer was better, as close to Boham is humanly possibly.

Still, this is a great live performance of a song that I don't think has ever been filmed live, before. (I'd love for someone to prove e wrong on that) :)

  • @LeoAsc I saw Page/Plant on that tour at Wembley in July '95. They were incredible.

  • I like this song, thanks for the upload. Soooo much energy, pity tho, that

JP Jones/Jonesy wasn't playing here too.

  • The drummer is wearing gloves. If I ever got the chance to play with 1/2 of Zeppelin, I would not wear fancy boy gloves.

  • 0:01 LOL

  • this song soars i dont know why led zeppelin didnt do it in knebworth have it put on led zeppelin dvd in 1979

  • this isn't led zeppelin, only song, but if is without jhon paul jhones and bonzo, this is jimmy page & robert plant

  • Grandissimii!!!!

  • i love this song and Poor tom

  • i just saw an allstar weekend debut album trailer. wut the hell was it doing attached to a led zeppelin video?!??!

  • @BigElk91

    same

  • Coda was my least favorite thing Zeppelin did.

  • @PIGd3stroyer Coda.....very strange??

  • Micheal Lee Was a former member of a Great 80's/90's band Called Little Angles From Scarbough. I Advise you to check them out to see why plant and page picked this guy. but still you need JPJ and bonzo to be zeppelin!

  • Amazing stuff!!!!!

  • It just isn't the same :/ Plant's voice is different as well, not bad, but worse.

  • Good song, love Plant & Page....bring Jonesy back too!

  • Ain't 100% Led... but still Robert and Plant are there. I didin't found Jones on the video... And of course... we all miss Bonzo. Led remains alive always on our minds, hearts and ears.

  • this is from knebworth 1990. it is plant's band with page as a special guest. it as for plant's manic nirvana tour. i know because i watched it live and taped it 20 years ago.

  • pretty sure that drummer is michael lee, who like bonzo, is now also dead.

  • @fizzled1 Michael Lee didn't play with Plant until Fate of Nations in '93.

  • The drummer just sounds flat --- Not quite the same w/o Bonzo. Zeppelin always had that hard driving sound ---- this just shows how much Bonham made the Zeppelin sound as the backbone of the group.

  • i think they can pull off good live shows without bonzo and jones but i wouldn't call it full zep unless all the members who CAN be there are (jones)...the 02 was as close as they'll ever get with jason bonham and jones there too

  • sorry but this doesn't stand up to the true Zepplin

  • This is a fantastic song; I only wish they'd included it on "In Through The Out Door" which, to my understanding, is what it was meant for.

  • pink les paul! cool

  • nice shirt rob - a great song and they sound awesome - you can definitely tell bonzo's gone tho

  • without John Paul Jones on bass zep is just a shell. Listen closely to the zep albums at the complicated and melodious bass lines JPJones plays it rivals Jimmy Page in technical prowess. The guy grew up an organist playing in a cathedral at age 12. Could and did play Bass, organ, piano, guitar and mandolin on all zeppelin albums. These seesion musicaians they got for this concert couldn't hold his or Bonzo's jockstrap.

  • 0:46 LOL the guy next to the Marshall stack

  • jimmy page is fucking raw in this video. the drums sound like a rhythm machine. no heart. i was born 11 year after bonzo's death so never saw him play

  • No John Paul Jones? Not Zep.

  • It seems like Plant recovered his voice... you can hear how his voice starts to fail in the late Zep era... but here's the young Robert again... a few years after :D

  • @N0QU4RTER looks like jimmy recoverd his playing toXD his playing sucked in the late zeppelin about 1980 it sounded like he was playing with two fingers.Thats what happens when you play with herion! but jimmy fixed himself up after and he is back to the hell of a guitarist he is!!!! bravo!!!

  • I saw Page/Plant's "No Quarter" tour in Boston---to one side they had about 20 percussionists from Arabic countries, and on the other about 20 musicians playing strings from violins to cellos and more. What a SOUND! And a friend with me leaned over and said, "See? It takes FORTY PEOPLE to replace Bonham and Jones!"

  • poor kid on the drums is probally living out his lifetime fantasy and people on here are shitting all over him!!

  • Look 1:26 It's Ed Van Halen in the Backround....

  • This is Page & Plant, not Led Zeppelin.

  • i was just about to say the same thing.

  • whoevr dosnt no who bonzo is

he is the drummer that led zeppelin has now but hes not playin here

  • @15randomguy bonzo's been dead for 30 years

  • This rocks

  • This isn't Led Zeppelin. This is Jimmy Page and Robert Plant.

  • You are right. John Paul Jones should have been there. THat

still irks me - love the songs tho!

  • that fucking drum sound is all wrong

  • Better with Bonzo but these geezers done pretty good!

  • @Scrimmer08 who da fk is bonzo?

  • Hi brassmaster11 - There was a british comic strip with a Bonzo character in it, this was John Bonham's nickname. And to confuse things more, there was also the chimp called Bonzo in the movie that robarin mentioned.

  • yeah, i was just having a little fun with brassmaster11 ;)

  • lol. hey! your name isn't ed by chance, is it?

  • [laffin my azz off!] was this officially bonham's nick name? waz hangin out, gettin,,,u know,,,and listening to zep. lol! so this guy, ed, (with a voice like daffy-duck, and spittn) goes "hey! aint that john bonn-nzo!" lol. still get'n weak off that ish!

  • hey! is your nick-name ed by chance???

  • this is knebworth 1990.

  • Where and when was that show?

  • yea i wondered if they would continue, plants voice seemed to get lower maybe? and yea the drums don't compare to bonzo not as powerful, but i'd b nervous playing with theese guys as well. What an honor

  • @dikki2010 will someone please tell me who da fk is "bonzo?"

  • bonzo was a chimp that was in a movie with ronnie back in like the 50s.

  • soo, like, what tha fk does that have to do with zepplin?

  • go jimmy:D

  • JIMMY PAGE JIMMY PAGE JIMMY PAGE JIMMY PAGE JIMMY PAGE JIMMY PAGE JIMMY PAGE JIMMY PAGE

    'nuff said.

  • It's not just page and plant.....john paul jones is there, he's playing keyboard.

  • No, he isn´t John Paul Jones

  • i still don't know why they didn't have jonesy as the bassist! and that drumming is just BAD

  • This was Plants band and Page joined for this show .Now you know.

  • wasnt this song one of jimmys solo album songs?

  • its from "Coda", last zep album after Bonzos' death

  • @NateageIV no, this song is from led zepp CD Coda... is not very known but is defenietly one of the best

  • @filip1218 what the man is saying is that this perfoemance is not led zeppeilin...and he is right

  • i've always wondered what Led Zeppelin would have ended up like if Bonzo hadn't died and they went on through the 80s and 90s... It's a VERY annoying "what if?"

  • page/plant, people!

  • Led Zeppelin Knebworth 1979 - Misty Mountain Hop

Misty Mountain Hop Live At Knebworth England 1979. Led Zeppelin Knebworth 1979 - Misty Mountain Hop

Misty Mountain Hop Live At Knebworth England 1979. Led Zeppelin Knebworth 1979 - Misty Mountain Hop

Misty Mountain Hop Live At Knebworth England 1979.

  • pretty good, just not the same without bonzo, but you cant call it zeppelin without John Paul or Bonham.

  • @WilGar333 I completely and undoubtedly agree.

  • @WilGar333 - RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @WilGar333 And yet, it's still tops above everyone else! To all the naysayers, I'd rather have a Led Zeppelin that can clearly still rock, than do without because Bonzo is gone.

  • Great show, Page/Plant but PLEASE ... SOMEONE give that guy a proper drum kit!!!

  • his voice...changed... :(

LED ZEPPELIN FOREVER AND EVER <3

  • You are Right changed, but plant is 1st vocal and Page 1st Guitarist!!!

  • at like 0:01

    can you say Pedophile?

  • LOL :D ^^

  • HAHAH fuck man

    genius

  • Here we can understand how John Bonham is missing.

  • indeed good sir

  • @GraachAhim EXACTLY what I was thinking. Drunner looks/sounds almost bored. Just going through it.

John Bonham adds a whole dimension. A very deep and colourful one.

  • @GraachAhim i think that's unfair, the drummer done a great job here. This is the first time wearing and tearing is played live, what are page and plant supposed to do WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT

  • its not zeppelin its just page making a guest appearance with plant

  • WOW!!! I was at that gig!! It was a good day!

Mate lost his shoe in the muddy river bed on the way out and had to walk 5 miles in his muddy sock in the rain whilst drunk!! :)

  • You know, I just thought of something. What if the original guy that was supposed to be the singer for Zeppelin actually accepted? What if he had not recommended Plant? If Plant had never signed on, Bonham would have never have been discussed as a possible drummer. Led Zeppelin and really music would be so different. Page & Plant is the greatest duo, in my opinion, in musical history. For decades, even after Zep broke up, they still play together. They seem like true friends.

  • Yes!

  • It's off the Coda album. I think the title is wearing and tearing.

  • what is that song?

  • good performance!!!

  • cool song....vocals were always blurry but who cares...its ZEPPELIN

  • Page has the coolest dance moves while giving the universe a gift (playing guitar in general).

  • not Zep, its Plant + Page, duh.

  • wow where is JPJ(jam peanutbutter jelly)

  • John Paul had the best snide remark for that ever when Atlantic Records had Zep onsstage for an award or something for Atlantic's 50th annaversiary or some such.

After Plant and Page had something to say JPJ got up and said," at least someone remembers me phone number." P&P looked a little embarrased at that point, as well they should ;)

  • Man I could have been there, goodbye cruel world.

  • AMAZING!!!sad that without Bonzo!!!Bonzo was the man my fav zep member ever!!!

  • man...where is Jpj?????

  • how much would you pay for tickets for this gig nowdays

  • probably around 700 bucks for okay seats haha id say front row would be in the 1000 range

  • could buy a guitar for that
