Yes I like the looks of it lowered. Riding is a little tricky to get used to. You can't take turns as fast or you will scrap the floorboards. I would raise it for a while then lower it back down. If I had air ride with a compressor that would be perfect.

It is a 1998 Heritage Softail Classic. Quick release saddlebags, quick release windshield, mustang solo seat, lowered front and rear. I guess if you remove the saddlebags and windshield it turns into a softail??image1.jpg

is it me or does that look like a softail? not a HERITAGE softail, but it looks like a regular softail, my buddy has a regular softail and his wife has a heritage softail, this looks like my buddy's bike the softail

It's a Heritage. I have a '97 in the same exact color and decals. Mine looks very similar, the way it's set up. Biggest visual differences are just the pipes and his air cleaner.

when i bought my 05' heritage, it had similar grips on it. you can literally strike a match off of one of them the first try. looks nice but tore my hands to shit after 20 miles. they came off really quick.

Had a 99 in red with Cycle Shack short slash cuts. Yours has more chrome in the rear and the V&H long shots sound good. Tail lite looks like the Kurakyn I put on mine. Thanks for the post.
