Beautiful Dobie!!! I have a 6 month old Dobie and she likes rough play and she knows her limits...it's all in the training! People this is not "cruelty".. obviously the owner knows his dog so stop with all these negative comments! Sheesh..

People could upload a video of someone touching an earthworm and it would ignite a million comments of earthworm training behavior and proper humane protocols regarding invertebrates. People are either crazy or just stupid.
The biting mindset is totally seperate from the family/companion mindset for a dog you're totally right. For example, if you never allow your dog to jump on you or people, that doesn't mean he or she will never jump on people for bite or schutzhund work, it's an entirely different mindset - controlled by the handler.

They get tons of playtime daily. I have even done some Schutzhund training on my dogs so what you see here is him playing YES playing with me. He can run after a guy in a padded training suit and tackle him, in that case his bark is much more of a kill and destroy bark. Folks this is playing around.

thats not aggression. Judging by the size the dog is around 6 - 9 months old and this is common behaviour in dobermans. They have protection instincts that are inherant to the breed and as they develop they practice. Mine is a 14 month old male and if you lack knowledge about dobermans you would think you were about to be ripped apart by mine. When my dobe displays this behaviour I get stuck in and play with him aggressively (paw play) and from this he learns his limits. Stunning dogs. The best
I have two, a boy and a girl. I do not like when people bash other people's dog choice. u have to be a very strong person to command an "aggressive" type dog. I put aggressive in quotations because all dogs can become aggressive, but society has labeled Dobermans, Rotts, Germans and Pits as such.. U train these dogs like soldiers in the army. When you command something they come and Dobermans are more active than others. Just like each person's characteristics differ, so do dobermans.
@Kivuliwolf Doberman's are unlike any other breed though, I have a 2 year old male when hes playing with family he acts serious and he'll nibble at you and pinch you with his small front teeth but he's never latched on lol he snaps out of it quick though
How is this dog playin? You can hear it snarling!! that dog isn't playin just look how its backin up and it ears are flat! ANd look at how much tho lips are raised!! Tho lips dont raise like that inless the dog is intending to attack or intimidate! either way I wouldn't be fooling around! Backing a dog into a corner is both cruel and dangerous! Your forcing the dogs into feeling it need to defends itself!

@XaldinX I know a thing or two about dogs. I've read about the and studied them my whole life, especially Dobermans, my favorite breed. This Doberman, my friend, is not playing. The owner is only provoking it.
