Basicly i dont watch any TV now a days. The internet is pretty much a new TV. Don't even watch movies on TV (well maybe in some rare cases i will). If i see that there's an interesting movie (that i perhaps want to see) coming from TV, i will go ahead and buy a dvd instead.
Yeah, I am pretty much the same. The only thing that changed was that my new computer now allows me to watch/record TV over the internet, and as there is no way that I could afford every movie I am curious about (and some aren't even available on DVD), this is a helpful alternative.
boomstickplease: It's getting ridiculous. I have had access to it again for about a month, and I have already burned at least one hundred and fifty DVDs, and I still have over one hundred more films on my hard drive(s).
I'll never get around to watching them all; but I do absolutely LOVE this channel!
You could too. They do not repeat films close together, and when the films aren't on, they show one reel shorts, mini-biographies and film rundowns, etc. The hosts are knowledgeable and enhance the viewing experience as well, and they broadcast great entertainment related documentaries also.
I truly hope you are able to get this channel sometime soon.

i love Turner Classic Movies. they showed Suspiria last night. awesome because i didnt have to blow the money on an overrated movie. thank you TCM.

I know! A bunch of really good classic films, uncut and commercial free! I would just sit home 24/7 watching it.
