She looks gorgeous. Love the outfit. I remember seeing this and thinking, "Oh, she got a new haircut," but I guess she was either wearing a wig or some sort of hairpiece in the front.
this song is amazing i love it i only just discover her, she is american but looks europeion or from the uk . I sing and now i have started this song x
I agree, she is an awesome artist and has a really strong, devoted fan base. If you are just starting to discover her music, I would start with Boys for Pele or Choirgirl Hotel, then venture out from there. I personally prefer her most recent work, but most Tori fans like her early stuff, like Little Earthquakes. Happy listening!
i swear she sprang out of a fairytale herself... she's too beautiful, got a too beautiful voice and is too talented and knows too much to be just a ordinary woman...
I love her voice...she did amazing. Dont know why though everytime I try to listen to her other songs they bore me to death! This is the only song I like...a little strange isnt it?
I am so beginning to understand Tori. She comes across as a white-magic goddess who channels her energy to us as an expression of all that we can be - potential! Dreams! She dances ever so lightly around the trees of forbidden fruit and gives us a taste here and ther of it. But mostly, she comes right at us, so directly with her emancipating delivery. She has overcome so much, and is telling us that we can too.
I am not sure which I like better, this or the studio version, lol. This version seems to have e bit more rumbling thunder to it. The haunting background refrain is not included, but the way she sings this is so alive and in the moment. I like how Dave kisses her hand too, hehe. Keep on keeping on Tori.
Brilliant. You notice how the audience really respects and looks up to her when they actually wait for her to sing the very last line and *then* starts to applaud and cheer. She commands your attention, simply put.
re:DeviousDeception - yeah, I've always noticed that as well. Also, I love her performance of SATY at the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas special in 1996 when everyone is cheering like crazy until she says 'excuse me but can I be you for awhile,' and they all go DEAD SILENT. lol
Tori is such an eye and ear-candy. Once you listen to any of her girls you just can't stop biting into more of them then they grow on you like a virus until you become totally consumed. Thanks for sharing. ^_^
How gorgeous.. i don't know what hapepned to her hair, but for some reaosn it looks great.:) And even though it's a bit over the op, that is the best Scarlet's Walk era outfit, I've seen. if only sh'ed worn it on wtsf. Love the sound-- both Tori and the bass are loud and clear.:)
She is so the female(uh, ok uh, more female, ah a real female) Elton John. Her piano mannerisms is very early 70's Reg. I wish she'd throw the stool at least in homage'. Plus she has mounds of talent.
she messed up in the very beginning. That's EXTREMELY rare for Tori.
