You started with one of my all-time favorite beers. I don't think I've ever been able to find this on tap but it's fantastic out of the bottle so I'd imagine on tap it's even better.
I don't think I've ever seen a hefeweizen glass used for a chocolate stout. A tulip, nonic, or tumbler would be more appropriate.
Thanks and I don't claim to be an expert! :) I have to say, its my favorite stout as I generally don't like bitter stouts. Any recommendations on a good stout to try?
I know, I used a hefe glass...only because I was washing the mug. But in my Red Seal review, I explained that and used a mug for it. :)
@BeerMeABeer Try any of Southern Tier's "Blackwater" series stouts - they're amazing!
Pretty much any Russian Imperial Stout is going to be a good beer. I like chocolate and coffee stouts the best. I don't like Irish dry stouts like Guinness, Beamish and Murphy's that much - too watery and bland.
