It's breaking my heart to see Elrio not being given a chance at Ewood. Now a potential move to the Championship side Sheffield looms for him. I pray to the football gods his fortunes change sooner than later. Blackburn would be commiting a huge error if they sold Elrio to Sheffield, a mildfield including Elrio, Hoilett, Diouf and Dunn would truly be devasting for any premiership side.

Great move for Blackburn to sign Elrio, his star can only rise from there. Elrio is a magnificent player, one of the greatest footballers playing out there today. He is in my mind the best South African player today, not Pienaar nor Modise can even come close to this boy. He proved this at AFCON 2008.
