@MrThedestroyer23 That takes alot of patience, most people just suk up the black sand and clean it later. I got in the habit of removing all black sand because a few creeks around here have naturally occuring mercury. Mercury instantly attaches to gold when they come in contact, and mercury is not the safest metal on earth lol. If you stick with it, it gets alot easier but at first it can be a hassle.
@GreywolfMiner I occasionally use a sluicebox, its not likely I will ever use anything other than my pan. If you notice, almost all the gold was locked up in the bedrock. Around here theres not alot of gold in the over burden, so highbanking is not on my list of things to do.
Great video, you guys sure have the fever to stick it out for the time you do and for what yiou get. The big chunks make life worth living. I live in "The Land of Az" also, and am familiar with many of the Bradshaw drainages, can you use a backpack dredge, seems you might benifit from that and a small sluice. Any way, excellent vids, and great job on the crevacing.
@aex1611 Sometimes it pays very well, but it's still just a hobby. Finding a real payout is difficult, I can narrow the odds but I would never try to make a living off of gold.
are you below or above lynx lake ?? ever go to the doodlebug area ? i'm from apache junction and just recently found my 1st. colors near the 2nd bridge on walker road . it is a long drive , but it is worth it just to find any gold !!! i like your "sniping" vids. are there any spots that can show good color off of bank vault rd. ??? does it cross linx creek ?
We are Below the lake. Bank Vault is now private property, has been for a few years. Most the bedrock above the lake is that hard black stuff, does'nt hold gold well, and grinds it to dust. Bannie mine and Enchanted forest trail cross Lynx and you can pan there.
i'm not from that area , are bannie, and enchanted rd.s below the lake ??? i don't think that i was even on lynx creek.....lol . do a lot of the creeks and washes hold gold in that area ? how about doodle bug , and big bug ,any luck in those areas ? all of your vids are from lynx .
Theres gold from Prescott all the way to Pheonix. Some creeks have gold others dont, the major problem is water. Lynx usually has water somewhere, thats why we spend alot of time there. Winter time is panning time, much more water even on the smaller washes, it's my favorite time of the year.
how do you clean it all up so you just leave the gold?

@AzBirdDog Depends on who is hunting and where.....

CXool Vid, curious as to when yer going to start using a highbanker, yer production of material would go up by 100 percent or better...
