  • Colbert would have had a better chance if he picked republican or democrat. i am not trying to change his or anyones ways but its a fact that those two parties get more attention than the independent party (although that doesnt stop me from being independent) they need to give the independents an equal shot, they are always trying to get rid of them if you think about ti when was the last time we had an independent president?

  • lol the cats attackin the phone

  • Wouldn't it have been easier just to call him directly? "Yo pops! You still runnin' fo' prez or what?"

Eh, I don't keep my dad's number in my phone either. I hate my dad.

  • your name is David??? you live in san Francisco??? weren't you in Japan??

  • You're off.

  • whoa! i think i have that exact same camera case thats on ure table :D

  • im in kansas so yeah...

  • why are you living in suburban america again everything was funnier when you were cooped inside a tiny room on another planet surrounded by moon people.

  • Let him SPEAK at the Dem CONVENTION!!

    "Where's Colbert?"

  • Wow! I can tell you that Canton won't be voting for him though.

  • Who's Canton?

  • Colbert said canton city was a shithole.

  • Oh yeah, I remember that.

  • haha, they had a hole thing on the news about it, people where acualy affended, it was great.

  • The Hero of Canton... the Man they call Jayne!

  • the woman said illinois with an "S"

    im voting Colbert.

  • im almost 100% sure in another video, you said that your name is daniel watts, and i am sure it is. my guess southern cali, around where u went to school

  • yes daniel watts and San Jose cali

  • So your first name is Dave, David or something?

  • His name is Daniel Watts. He ran for governor here in California.

Jeez, watch more of his videos, he says his name.

  • I subed over a year ago... but didn't have time to watch his later videos (the last month)

And I cant remember he said his name in the older videos, sry.

But "jeez", you rated me down for not knowing all videos? go get a live and stop watching youtube.

  • lol @ your cat

  • i hope he gets like 30 percent of the vote in each of those states lol

  • If you add together the electoral votes for the 12 states he's running in, it adds up to exactly 270, which is the exact number of electoral votes that a candidate needs to win the election. He could theoretically win by carrying just those 12 states!

  • Holy crap, you're right. 270. He could (theoretically) pull it off. It would be HILARIOUS if he won.

  • Nice find Watts!

  • Hes on all the states that matter.

  • Colbert08! I wonder who his running mate will be?

  • How about GovernorWatts as a running mate?

  • If he were to become president, would you still say that you're his son as an intro to your videos?

    I would.

  • good i hope he beats mcain and obama

  • This is preety awesome now, you could say later:

My name is Governor Watts and i'm the son of the President.

  • ur fatha iz now gunna b da nxt prez! WoOt!!! lol/jk!

  • Wow. This is pretty interesting.

  • I know! And yet, no one knows about this. He's going a phenomenal job at keeping it a secret. No reporter would ever think to call the FEC and ask who's running for president, because MOST candidates would run around telling everyone, right? There's no need! But Colbert's keeping it a secret, presumably to spring it on us at the last minute.

  • That's intresting, but how is going to be an advantage for him?

  • I don't really like Stephen Colbert. He doesn't actually stand for anything. He simply mocks things by falsely portraying them.

  • Colbert 08! LOL

  • he still running?

  • YES. I spoke with him in New York when I flew there a week ago, too. I'll upload that video once I have it edited.

  • SWEET but why is he keeping it a secret from his viewers but thanks for the investigation

  • My guess is that he doesn't want to blow the surprise, and wants to make sure he actually gets on the ballot.

Remember what happened last winter? The Dems kicked him off the ballot in S. Carolina with legal shenanigans. Now he's an independent candidate, but disgruntled partisans could still file lawsuits challenging his right to appear on the ballot.

  • That's true hope that Doesn't happen again and good luck with the teaching (you used to sub at my school)
