No. Pomeg berries don 't have the same effect in RS

Just a part of another test I was doing at the same time. I created a fake berry that would hopefully "freeze" the game, thus the name. The test failed though.

You still made a mistake, I believe. The pokemon has to be LEVELED UP at least 34 times. I just tried this glitch with my Lairon, which was level 36, but the berry wouldn't lower his HP any lower than fainted. Probably because I caught it at lvl 10, and only leveled it 25 times.

But it still is a glitch in itself to walk around with one fainted pokemon and nothing else. :P

Ever heard about the site Gamefaqs? Check the pokemon Emerald board and you will find the very same trick there. It was there I found it anyway.

Or you can test it yourself, though be careful, I haven't done much testing and can't tell for sure if this glitch can mess up your game.
