@maximummask But we had a property bubble pop years ago. And our language is endangered even now as we are below the return point of some scale that points out if a language is dieing. If Russians and Fins wouldn't come we would lose a chunk of our income but what matters is that we are doing better than Russia. As a smaller nation we can innovate faster and grow our gdp.

How is Russians/Ukranians buying some of the apartments in dump areas got anything to do with the rest of the country? Bought up by Russians? Looks more to me like Russians buying garbage cheap flats in the poorest areas and living in them. And that's all what it is.

@meProudToBeCaucasian So according to you Estonia is like the only country that has run-down areas. Life in the cities and in the area around them is better than ever. It's logical that when the Soviet era factories in immigrant-filled towns are closed, noone wants to live there anymore.

If it wasn't for Finnish/Russian holiday drunks, Estonia would just be another hellish popped property bubble like Latvia/Lithuania. There's no future in these countries, Estonian will be an endangered language before the century ends.

@maximummask Oh please, during the occupations, the three countries have been in a much worse situation. Of course we have our problems, but we are doing fine and a nation of one million doesn't become extinct in one century... I myself might live in 1 century :D
