While I agree that the existence of God may not be something one can prove, I will point to the fact that there has never been an archaelogical or scientific discovery that has conflicted with Scripture. In fact, both fields have consistently provided confirmation for what Scripture says.

Science cannot prove the existence of God. It also cannot disprove the existence of God. God is Spirit and so its a spiritual matter. You want to find out who God is? Then look to Jesus and you will find the fullness of God in Him and no one else.

@Leocloet I believe Jesus will return. He healed the blind, the lame, mute, deaf. He was brutally murdered but after three days he came back to life. It sounds impossible but it's true. That's one of the coolest things about God. He can do anything. I, personally, deserve to be tortured over and over again and then thrown into a fiery pit for all I've done.
And to answer your other question, God gives all of us the opportunity to believe in him, to have faith. He has the biggest heart. Let us not argue. We are all under the blood of Jesus and children of God. You guys are all right. It's all about loving the Lord. Still, tipping well at a restaurant, especially when we go there with a group of believer and pray before the meal, the waiters and waitress definitely know that we are Christians. Tipping well is part of how we can indirectly show them the love of Jesus.
A young 25 year old woman from my little village (about 800 people) just died today. It is a terrible loss and the we all grieve tremendously especially the family as you can imagine! Christians are not the worst tippers, its just that when one or two does it, everyone makes a big deal about it cause we're supposed to be the nice and giving people. but we have problems, too. we have to make a living, we have to pay bills, we have to put food on the table. we have the same monetary problems as most other people in our situation.

@philum5 I think that if God loved the world so much that he sent Jesus not to condemn the world but to save it ( John 3v17) then God would achieve his desire. God who loves his creation, will be a loving heavenly Father who welcomes the prodigals when they come before him in heaven. Jesus will be like in John 8v11, " Then neither do I condemn you ). The chords are Am, F, C and G but he is keeping his first finger on the 2nd string 1st fret, the whole time.

I'm a christian myself but honestly....there have been billions of people pass through this earth since the first century and earlier so obviously there are many points of view of God and what he represents. While I agree that the existence of God may not be something one can prove, I will point to the fact that there has never been an archaelogical or scientific discovery that has conflicted with Scripture. In fact, both fields have consistently provided confirmation for what Scripture says.

Science cannot prove the existence of God. It also cannot disprove the existence of God. God is Spirit and so its a spiritual matter. You want to find out who God is? Then look to Jesus and you will find the fullness of God in Him and no one else.

I find the fact that my opinion makes "loving" Christians so furious, hilarious.
I previously stated that I have nothing against people who "love" Jesus or God, I just find the religious fanaticism in some of the previous posts to be mentally insane. I obviously overgeneralized when I said "Americans are definitely insane". I was referring to the distorted image we get of America, when we see people handing out pamphlets with such titles as: "Jesus is coming! Be ready for his glory"!

@Leocloet I believe Jesus will return. He healed the blind, the lame, mute, deaf. He was brutally murdered but after three days he came back to life. It sounds impossible but it's true. That's one of the coolest things about God. He can do anything. I, personally, deserve to be tortured over and over again and then thrown into a fiery pit for all I've done.

And to answer your other question, God gives all of us the opportunity to believe in him, to have faith. He has the biggest heart. He loves everyone and it breaks mine, as well as his to read that you think he wants us all to go to hell. He doesn't want that for us. He gives us a choice though. It's your choice. Choose what you believe. God will respect that, as will I.

Actually, Santa is inspired from a real person - St. Nicolaus. If it were not for a Christian obeing the will of God, you would never celebrate the holiday.
However, Jesus Christ is a historical person. There is much history written of Him which proves the Bible to be true as well as proving Him to be the true Son of God.

Let us not argue. We are all under the blood of Jesus and children of God. You guys are all right. It's all about loving the Lord. Still, tipping well at a restaurant, especially when we go there with a group of believer and pray before the meal, the waiters and waitress definitely know that we are Christians. Tipping well is part of how we can indirectly show them the love of Jesus.

A young 25 year old woman from my little village (about 800 people) just died today. It is a terrible loss and the we all grieve tremendously especially the family as you can imagine! Christians are not the worst tippers, its just that when one or two does it, everyone makes a big deal about it cause we're supposed to be the nice and giving people. but we have problems, too. we have to make a living, we have to pay bills, we have to put food on the table. we have the same monetary problems as most other people in our situation.

Not lies, ur calling me a liar. I'm not mad or anything, but I am telling you not by my experience as far as the people I hang out with, but people I know who have been waitresses. They have often had bad tipping from almost every Christian they ever came across.
We get this idea in our mind that tithing means putting money into the church machine. Maybe tithing is bigger than that.
