If there was a fountain in the middle of the country that spit out 100 dollar bills all day long... 24/7, 365 days a year... Would you rush there to grab that cash? Now what if it was mandatory that you had to use this paper as money... And the fountain was owned by a private corporation... And you had to pay a tax on your income for the "convenience" of having this setup..

Alan is on to something, but he's not quite there.

When the times are lean, it isn't money what isin dire need, but resources. The problem is when banks divorce the connection between money and resources by printing it out of thin air!

Money only represents resources when we restrain from consuming resources, i.e. SAVING THEM!

Whatever 'system' you have in place is largely irrelevant, too. The problem is there is a monolithic system (bank cartel) to begin with!

Keyes doesn't stumble around his words searching for phrases designed to conceal and confuse the meaning. He doesn't need to because he has considered the issues at length. You will hear him express his views quickly and concisely. This is a leader who wouldn't flip-flop or make broken promises.

Alan Keyes and Ron Paul would be a great team with somewhat different constituencies, as Ron Paul does not have the Church vote, but together would make a sane and sensible team. Not some gimmick as we are currently being fed as our 'best bet' for a republican pair in 2012.
