Continued...Like in many breeds, blue eyes can be a visible recessive trait, but can also signify other recessives in the dogs system....health can be risked in factor. It should disqualify from being bred. Blue eyes are a recessive gene that alot of breeders are trying to breed out from their lines. Basically that puppy should be sold as pet only if bred it will produce pups with blue eyes or pups that carry that gene that might transfer to their pups if bred.

Hi I heard you asking if anyone had any info on blue eyed bulldogs so I decided to comment, me as being a breeder myself I have heard of so many different scenarios with bulldogs with blue eyes, Just because a bulldog has a blue eye does not mean it is not a purebred bulldog, it just means it has that genetic trait. It can still be registered and technically shown. Even though standard only allots 3 points for the eyes, its considered a major fault and blue eyed bulldogs dont do well in shows.
