I don't have companions anymore. you want to know why? meeko kept dying in a dungeon, allie got killed by ice wolves, and in the main story, all 3 of my companions tried to kill me! there were a whole bunch of fireball traps in this one room, and they kept stepping on them. also, my 3 companions were 1. the spectral assassin. 2. meeko. 3. barbas, the talking dog. I don't trust companions anymore, besides shadowmere, and the assassing. they all try to kill me in one way or another.

I'm a conjuration/destruction guy. I had the Archmage's Robes and the Staff of Magnus. My strategy for this dragon priest was conjuring a frost atronach, distracting him, and drain all of his magicka whilst dodging the turned atronach. Only once he had no magicka, I started blasting him with dual fire magic.
