  • As an Overeem fan it feels good to be finally vindicated for supporting him after the years of people talking shit saying he was overrated. I remember Nuker's "Fedor the Ultimate Can" videos and how he was saying Fedor was ducking top competition and Overeem would be a real test for him. Look at where we are now. Fedor suffered 3 losses in a row in Strikeforce and is trying to rebuild his confidence against lower level fighters. Overeem demolished the UFC's cash cow sending him into retirement.

  • Overeem hasn't let his hands go much at all in his last two fights, and although I suspect it was because he was cognizant of needing to defend against Werdum's ground game and Lesnar's takedowns, he will need to let them go against JDS so he can set up the clinch knees. Rushing in to go for the knees without giving JDS a reason to respect his hands could be a recipe for getting slept.e

  • @geesecougar2 How stupid would it be for him to just "rush in", why would he give a fuck about Brock/Werdum hitting him? because they don't have hands, against JDS you can rest assure that he will be watching out for those hands.

  • I don't like your stuff but I will admit you were the one who put me on Ubereem first years ago. When I saw your vids on him I started watching him a lot, and he is the total package. I agree that he will be the next great HW champ, but don't underestimate JDS; no matter how much better someone is, they can still get knocked out on fight night, and this is especially true at HW since guys have so much more power than the lower classes but not proportionally better chins.

  • Hmm... I think Overeem's pretty much gonna run thru everybody like every1 said Fedor was gonna remain undefeated. Damn! Dat woulda been a match back then... but yeah. Fedor got did up 3 times! lol

  • i think Cormier could give him some trouble. i never count black fedor out of anything.

    him and sergei i believe

  • Its funny how Brock Lesnar about 2 years ago was considered this unstoppable machine that will rule the heavyweight division for a long time. I think he could have been successful if it wasn't for his illness which I agree with you took away time from training and learning skills. 2 years later, being annihilated by top competition retires after 2 losses. That just shows that no one is unstoppable. I think JDS presents problems with his speed and movement. Overeem's going to have trouble for sur

  • @thegladiatorism diverticulitis killed the beast in brock

  • @thegladiatorism i can't believe i'm reading this "JDS presents problems with his speed and movement" really, does he now? how do you figure that? if his stand up was so great he would be in k-1, is he, NO! now what about overeem? is he in K-1? YES HE IS A K-1 CHAMPION!!!! a stand up sport, how can you question his stand up?? he faces the meanest strikers in the world, and has beaten them, and you question his chin and his skill in striking? IDIOT!! JDS poses no threat at all

  • @JCB411abuser JDS is a deceptively fast fighter who picks angles very well and he isn't a dumb fighter, he will pick a good strategy for this fight. That being said...im not questioning overeem's standup, we all know its good but his championship from K-1 is tainted and we all know why that is. Despite that, he is a great striker. Overeem is a power shot puncher/kicker/knee, he doesn't through many combinations. Whereas, JDS throws combinations and has really good movement.

  • @thegladiatorism his speed and movement doesn't come close to the top K-1 fighters, and if brock lesnar can't take overeem down then neither will JDS, i really don't see where anyone can say overeem has an obvious weakness?? maybe his ground game isn't werdum standard but hell you have to get him there first and in the werdum fight overeem came out on top in the takedowns and just stood the fight back up again, overeem will man handle JDS in the grapple area

  • @JCB411abuser You must understand, JDS isn't in K-1 not because he doesn't have the ability its because this is where all his connections in brazil and his career lead him. There have been hints of him going for olympic boxing after but thats another topic. K-1 and MMA have a far different rhythm. The threat of a takedown will always keep you off balance and JDS has the technical boxing skills to put overeem away if overeem gets over zealous.

  • all the guys spouting bout how "no-one really though Brock would win" you are so full of it, every one before the fight happened was all about how brock is the best this brock is the best that, no after overeem shows what a fighter really is, you are all back tracking, and now you're starting off again about JDS and stand up, overeem is a stand up fighter, he IS A PROFESSIONAL WORLD CHAMPION KICKBOXER!!!!!!!!!! FML you must be idiots, IDIOTS!!!

  • Future is now for Overeem becoming ufc champ!

  • I remember Dana White saying "Overeem is not even top 10"... Im sure he's coming back from that now LOL

  • @CCDevlin haha exactly

  • (Part 2) Lesnar should've fought Mir after coming back Overeem was too much too soon. I don't like Brock but what true MMA fan thought that he would beat Overeem? The man is in another league.

  • @mmawilldesha So true I made A comment on a vid betting 100,000,000 million that the Reem would win no one took it.

  • I respectfully disagree about JDS not being a challenge for Overeem. JDS is a boxer with monster power in his hands and he knows how to strike unlike Brock of course Overeem can out strike Brock because he doesn't know the hell he is doing and when ever he gets hit he runs or folds up. JDS doesn't have that same problem and please remember that Overeem's chin is far from great JDS can put him to sleep easy. Not saying that he will beat Reem i'm just saying he's not going to run over him.

  • I agree with Overeem being overatted, but his time coming, NO. I live in STL and saw him Pumbel Brett Rodgers. I can't wait to see Overeem fight JDS. I just don't think this fight is much of a fight. No one thought Brock was going to win. I would have like to see him fight Cain or Shane, but JDS will be a good fight.

  • This guy is Reem fan

  • As for who can beat Overeem, the answer is Josh Barnett, who could beat virtual everyone, and I do mean everyone, in the UFC heavyweight division.

  • Watching Lesnar fight, i think Fedor had a good chance beating Lesnar if he would have fought him. Too bad that match didn't take place.

  • @addictivebeat Lesnar is a bad match for Fedor

  • @thaiboypsp3000 I agree. Fedor, lately, can't do well with bigger, stronger or aggresive fighters.

  • I agree, The powers to be in the UFC weren't thinking long-term when they matched Lesnar against Overeem so quickly. Brock needed at least a year to slowly re-acclimate his body and learn some much needed stand-up. I feel sorry for JDS, 'cause this monster looks like he's on a mission.

  • @4iamu You seem oblivious about what it means to be a competitive fighter. That you'd suggest Lesnar remain inactive for another year is a testament to my assertion.

Here's a hint, lack of combat *hinders* a fighter's ability.

  • @AmadeusExcello Didn't suggest he not fight at all genius; just not a guy at Overeem's level this soon after his illness and surgery. Dana wanted big bucks and so did Lesnar,so they both agreed, while the idea was still fresh. Bottom line, the guy's mma career is finished and he has made mark on the sport and made plenty of cash in the sport. Case closed!!

  • After the sickness and surgery Lesnar was never the same.

  • JON JONES>ALISTAIR OVEREEM

  • I think JDS has better hands then Overeem, though not knees or kicks. I'm going with speed over power. JDS via 1st TKO

  • @xkillaz18x having better hands implies he has better, speed, power, and accuracy or at least two of the three. He doesnt have better hands than a top level k1 striker. If you think thats the case you're dreaming.

  • @tj2gq4u Better hands meaning, better accuracy, better speed, better reflexes, better boxing in general JDS has! In the last K1, Overeem had the easiest route to the title LOL. Badr Hari in a rematch would own Overeem, a healthy Saki would give Overeem a go. Also, this was Lesnar he beat, not some experienced mma fighter. I said Overeem would destroy Lesnar in the first.

JDS movement is better, an the strikes will be right there when Overeem try throwing a kick or knee.

  • @xkillaz18x Left off the pipe.

JDS's boxing leaves a hell'va lot to be desired.

  • @tj2gq4u Power has nothing to do with the term better hands. Ali has better hands then Foreman, i'm sure you'll agree with that

  • @xkillaz18x "Better hands" is an empty, catchall phrase that routinely connotes technical ability.

JDS does not have "better hands" than Overeem.

  • @AmadeusExcello You've gotta be kidding me. JDS is definitely the better boxer by far! Obviously Overeem is the better kickboxer with his deadly knees an kicks.

  • @AmadeusExcello You think JDS is just going to stand there an take those knees an kicks? JDS is going to circle like he does in every fight, threaten with his deadlier, faster, more accurate striking which will mess up Overeem's timing.

Hell, Overeem couldn't even land a decent shot on Werdum for crying out loud. You think he has "better hands" then JDS LOL your joking right?

  • @AmadeusExcello Hahaha? Lets compare Reem's workout vs JDS's workout? and let people watch and compare the "HANDS". JDS has best hands in heayweight

  • @AmadeusExcello and FUCK K1! I watch MMA not some random ass kickboxing company

  • @thaiboypsp3000 Are you done screaming like an idiot child locked in a hospital or should notify professionals of your mental degradation?

  • @AmadeusExcello I remember you now, "you're" that coward bitch that trolled me on the other video. You little fuck, you even said the same stupid comment to me.

Who makes jokes about children in hospitals? Your a peice of shit

  • Comment removed

  • @AmadeusExcello hahah you removed your comment because you realized what type of low life scum you truly are.

  • @xkillaz18x I removed my comment in effort to mitigating future bombardments of your dementia.

I, clearly, underestimated the severity of your unflinching disorder.

  • @AmadeusExcello And what exactly would that be doctor?

  • @AmadeusExcello I scream everytime I bang your mom

  • @thaiboypsp3000 You even hurl pathetic insults like a child.

  • @thaiboypsp3000 I'm 6 years old...so what do you expect?

  • @tj2gq4u You're stupid, K1 fighter's do not have the best hands, its more or less all about the knees an kicks, duh...

  • how can you compare fedor hearth to bitch ass Chestner, you cant, overeem is the man YES,no doubt ,yes ,he might beat Fedor nowdays but stop bringing and compare Fedor just to get views,Fedor is the GOAT so far and cant be touch at least in the next 5 years.lesnar record is 4 w and 4 L.the biggest can in the mma history and it shows 4th fight in a row

  • couldnt agree with u more here. jds vs overeem is basically going to be a kickboxing match, and you just have to watch overeems k1 fights to see how its going to turn out!! He had zero respect for brocks striking, he was just walking forward with his hands down and landing those knees, he made it look very easy!

  • And overeem isn't that great. Lesnar did not even try to get a takedown

  • @LesnarNextBigThingF5 He attempted a single and didn't even come close.

  • @mrundeadfox not really, he let it go dipshit.

  • @LesnarNextBigThingF5 Aww, a butt-hurt Brock fan I see lol. Sorry if I struck a nerve, lil buddy.

  • @mrundeadfox im not butt hurt, after yesterday i think brocks a chump

  • @mrundeadfox but he still didnt try to takedown

  • @LesnarNextBigThingF5 If that's true that Lesnar didn't attempt a takedown he is the dumbest mma fighter period. He should of took overeem down and get him tired then strike with him. But I don't care I wanted Alistair to win anyway.

  • I knew brock was going to retire this fight. Brock was so nervous with his condition I could see him trying to hide it. I love lesnar but now is the time to stay healthy and be with his family
