Both '69's are currently restored and will be featured at this years California Hot Rod Reunion. The current owners are located in the Northwest. The Clare car was the first to be restored and The JJ car is being finished up as I type. They are both Blue.
There were at least two cars that I know of. There was an East Coast car driven by Jim and a West Coast car driven by Clare Sanders. One was blue and one was orange. I think the orange car was the West Coast car. Story at the time goes that Jim wrecked the East Coast car and had the other car shipped to him so he could continue fulfilling his contractual racing dates. This ended his West Coast program.
Better have the big-block Chevys if your gonna do those cars right!
