This is Prince Of Persia : The Two Thrones, the 3rd game in the series that has the same story, main character (that speaks), and the ability to control the Sands of Time, while in The Forgotten Sands (the newest game) you control the elements, and in the games before the Sands of Time trilogy you can't control any supernatural power. Forgotten Sands is technically POP 1.5, and the real POP4 was supposed to be a remake of POP:SoT, but failed.

Technically this isn't 3 or 4. There were 3 games before the Sands of Time trilogy, and there was also The Forgotten Sands a game taking place in-between 1 and 2 (also there was the DS game introducing the Dahaka and all that but that was more of a military strategy game as a whole). Maybe the poster meant this as the 4th after WW and Forgotten Sands. That or they don't know how to count.
