Yes and no.

VERY repetative.

all you do is missions with other people which are randomly generated either warehouses or office buildings.. but all mmorpgs are repetative in soem sense.. you dont necessarily GRIND but its much easier to lvl up in this game since its focus is teaming with others through missions

sonic has some good control powers but isnt awesome for dmg (still ok tho), so it's great to pair with energy or elec melee. i chose elec and it's a great blapping build

Reply ASAP: I'm sort of new to CoX and the whole enhancement thing is still a little murky to me. When you cover all the slots for one power with the same thing does the effect "stack" up with every addition?

Yep, it does. Once you get to about 85% in enhancement for a particular attribute like Recharge or Accuracy, the diminishing returns system kicks in. I think the first slot gives you 33%, 2nd is 33%, 3rd is 20%, 4th is 5%, 5th is 5% and 6th is like 2%. The highest you can get by stacking and slotting 6 of the same thing is about 99%. The only way to go past that is using Invention Enhancements.

It's an effect of one of the Invention enhancements I have in my ranged attacks. All my ranged attacks have a 20% chance to hit a target with a Mag 3 Hold.

I used to, but I stopped PvP'ing regularly after I started school. It was a solid build and could take down almost anything, especially on teams. Sonic is slower than Fire or Ice, but if you know how to play it right, it's devastating.

HamiO is short for Hamidon Enhancement and you can get them either by beating Hamidon himself in a raid or by completing Statesman's Taskforce in Independence Port.

hey i have a lvl 16 sonic/energy manip. on CHAMPIon.... i love all the sonic attack powers, but the energy manip. set has a lot of buffs..what are the good ones?

and what is that rainbow shield that you keep on activating?

All the buffs are good. The rainbow one I keep using is Power Boost which makes all the stun effects in Sonic and Energy Manip. last longer. It also makes Boost Range boost all of my attacks farther and makes the Regeneration effects from Hibernation increase. It's basically the best buff in the entire game :) I recommend getting it as soon as you can.

Matrix Online isn't that great and there aren't a lot of people playing it. I'd def recommend checking this game out since it's pretty easy to pick up and play and the community is awesome. All the combat in the game is as fast as it is in this vid. I love it :)

never played this game but i highly doubt that because that would be sorta cheap its same in world of warcraft.You cant use your flying mounts in PvP because youd have advantage if you were range or disadvantage if you were not

If she'd have caught me off guard like the Ring did? Hit Hibernate until I saw no more mez icons on me, run away afterwards, let her de-aggro and despawn all her stuff. Come back, Powerboost+AIM+BU+Total Focus joust her. Even if I get Held, my build would break free before the stun wore off on her and I'd finish her off. This is assuming I don't die before I can hit Hibernate initially XD

During Closed Beta, when they initially introduced the new Defiance 2.0, yes, I found myself using my ranged attacks a lot more. They weren't crazy overpowered, but you could tell they were doing more damage. All those slivers of health that most attacks left would be gone. With the new animation changes, they'll be even better :D So I do foresee most people's playstyles changing a little to adapt to the new changes and take advantage of them. It won't be a radical change to playstyle though.

Yes, I have both in my build. I only have (1) Impervious Skin: Mez Res since the value of it used to be higher. I can't figure out a way to slot more into my build right now, so I only have (1) of it still. They both make a great deal of difference during combat.

Yea? I tried to solo Dominatrix on my En/En in closed beta, with the same, 1 Aegis and 1 Imp Skin. I still had to have a ton of BFs...so I'm not sure they're valuable enough, to me, to be worth giving up Chance for Build Up.

Yeah, it's a bit slow, but in Team PvP it destroys. If you know how to use it solo, it works really well solo. Power Boost helps with Aim + BU and your attacks can break apart resistance after a while, especially since EM hits so hard. Screech is great in PvP.
