This is why I know that the stang is not as good as the accord... First of all, looks are subjective, I like the look of the 03+ accord coupe more then the mustang. Thats an honest opinion. 03+ accord V6 is faster then a mustang V6, I will explain why...
The mustang V6 05-10 is slow, the engine (4.0 V6) Is over displaced and way out of date! It makes 210 Horsepower, and has a 2V design! It burns much more gas then Hondas J30A4/A5 Or J35Z3. The mustang V6 has a 4 speed Auto which is geared way too tall! The manual is a bit better as far as gearing is concerned.
The accord handles just as well, even with FWD... Because the accord doesn't have much under steer. And the mustang does not have very good suspension.
2003 Accord V6 Coupe 6 speed can do 0-60 in 5.8 seconds on average. The 05 mustang V6 manual, more like 7.2-7.5 seconds, the auto takes about 8 seconds.
The Automatic 2008 Accord V6 Coupe takes 5.9-6 seconds to hit 60. My car (Accord sedan) Takes about 6-6.4 seconds on average. The 2008 V6 Coupe manual, takes 5.4-5.6 seconds to hit 60!
So, the mustang is slower in a straight line, and around corners!

just as a warning, if you plan on pulling out more than 450 bhp on your car, then looks into internals, the stock block and internals are good for anything up to that, procharger has pretty good superchargers

Used all the money I was willing to on the sedan so I ended up with a new mustang convertible instead of a GT :( I just turned 22 so I have plenty of time to save and get 8 or more cylinders later. besides the top down is nice

first of all you are an idiot. the goverener has nothing to do with the RPMs its just there to cut off the speed so you cant go over a certain limit. also how the fuck are you going to get 600 hp just from a supercharger on a v6? the base v6 is 210 you would be getting at least 290 or 330 hp from just a supercharger not 600
your right..there is no way just a supercharger could put it up to 600. as many deals i read bout these super chargers it would put the hp up to over 300..probably 330 like u said. who ever said it could get 600 is a fuckin retard. maybe get 6 with a super charger, tuner, headers, exhaust and more but not just supercharger
take a look at the stage 2 kenne bells or even the mammoth kenne bell. a centrifugal wont do much but a twin screw can add up to 200 to even 400 if the car can handle it
Thats bullshit. OD doesnt do anything but add the overdrive gear for highway cruising. It doesnt affect anything else, especially not in a car without tow capabilities. If you notice, at the end of the video he is only in gear 3 of 5.

The 4.0 isn't really a fast engine. It's matching numbers with the GM 3800 L36, almost exactly identical, with 200 extra CCs. When you put it up against the new 3900 it's outmatched by 40 horsepower, although torque is about the same.
Now, if you were to contact Squire Turbo Systems for one of their dual-turbo rearmount kits for the mustang... then you're talking anywhere from 250 HP to north of 400 HP with tuning.
Not putting this towards an insult, but for a 4.0 RWD V6, 7.5-8 seconds?..Last night i raced the exact model and kept pulling away in my dodge stratus...granted he took me off the line, but in split seconds i was ahead and pulling away...i have my own vid of me hitting 60 in 7.4 seconds with a full tank of gas and a passenger..its a stock 2.7L V6...its a sedan 2 with only 200 hp..i think the problem with the V6 stang is the weight..my sedans lighter than it..the stang does sound a little better

The mustang V6 05-10 is slow, the engine (4.0 V6) Is over displaced and way out of date! It makes 210 Horsepower, and has a 2V design! It burns much more gas then Hondas J30A4/A5 Or J35Z3. The mustang V6 has a 4 speed Auto which is geared way too tall! The manual is a bit better as far as gearing is concerned.
The accord handles just as well, even with FWD... Because the accord doesn't have much under steer. And the mustang does not have very good suspension.

2003 Accord V6 Coupe 6 speed can do 0-60 in 5.8 seconds on average. The 05 mustang V6 manual, more like 7.2-7.5 seconds, the auto takes about 8 seconds.
The Automatic 2008 Accord V6 Coupe takes 5.9-6 seconds to hit 60. My car (Accord sedan) Takes about 6-6.4 seconds on average. The 2008 V6 Coupe manual, takes 5.4-5.6 seconds to hit 60!
So, the mustang is slower in a straight line, and around corners!

The mustang burns a ton of gas. A 2010 mustang V6 gets 18/26 MPG. A 2010 Accord V6 Coupe got 19/29 MPG! The 2011 Accord coupe V6 auto gets 20/30 MPG.
The accord is also built better, and is more luxurious and technologically advanced!

i dont get this it gets 0-60 in about 9 seconds but my 2.2L 4 banger pontiac grand am (STOCK) gets it in between 7 and 8

I made a mistake and bought an expensive euro sedan, so many issues I traded it two months later. Used all the money I was willing to on the sedan so I ended up with a new mustang convertible instead of a GT :( I just turned 22 so I have plenty of time to save and get 8 or more cylinders later. besides the top down is nice

The computerized "drive by wire" sucks. I know. I own one. The best thing to do is tune the car and get rid of that lag at the initial take off.

DONT buy a shelby gt500kr its a waste all u gota do is procharge ur v6 which is about $5,000 but, id rather spend dat den Gt500kr only puts "500" hp but ud proly get round 305 cus da goverener not to mention its high price. a [procharge] will give a good 600hp w/o mods. maybe round 800or 900 HP adding ur extas on. u choose..KEY WORD= X Charger or Procharged, thur both bolt ons.

first of all you are an idiot. the goverener has nothing to do with the RPMs its just there to cut off the speed so you cant go over a certain limit. also how the fuck are you going to get 600 hp just from a supercharger on a v6? the base v6 is 210 you would be getting at least 290 or 330 hp from just a supercharger not 600

your right..there is no way just a supercharger could put it up to 600. as many deals i read bout these super chargers it would put the hp up to over 300..probably 330 like u said. who ever said it could get 600 is a fuckin retard. maybe get 6 with a super charger, tuner, headers, exhaust and more but not just supercharger

take a look at the stage 2 kenne bells or even the mammoth kenne bell. a centrifugal wont do much but a twin screw can add up to 200 to even 400 if the car can handle it

Thats bullshit. OD doesnt do anything but add the overdrive gear for highway cruising. It doesnt affect anything else, especially not in a car without tow capabilities. If you notice, at the end of the video he is only in gear 3 of 5.

The 4.0 isn't really a fast engine. It's matching numbers with the GM 3800 L36, almost exactly identical, with 200 extra CCs. When you put it up against the new 3900 it's outmatched by 40 horsepower, although torque is about the same.
Now, if you were to contact Squire Turbo Systems for one of their dual-turbo rearmount kits for the mustang... then you're talking anywhere from 250 HP to north of 400 HP with tuning.
it's all in what you want to make of it.

Not putting this towards an insult, but for a 4.0 RWD V6, 7.5-8 seconds?..Last night i raced the exact model and kept pulling away in my dodge stratus...granted he took me off the line, but in split seconds i was ahead and pulling away...i have my own vid of me hitting 60 in 7.4 seconds with a full tank of gas and a passenger..its a stock 2.7L V6...its a sedan 2 with only 200 hp..i think the problem with the V6 stang is the weight..my sedans lighter than it..the stang does sound a little better

weight dose play a major factor.. i have a v6 mustang and a friend of mine was giving me hell about it not being a gt. he was braging saying his v8 f150 would smoke mine.. well after kicking his ass 3 times in a 0 to 60 race.. he shut up...haha. his truck just weighs way to much to keep up off the line

I have a 2006 Pony Package with slight mods, my best 0-60mph was 5.8 seconds. People underestimate the new 4.0 V6s...they're quick
