  • this was my first game at old trafford, i was 7 years old i think, i just remember being mesmerised watching the genius of jesper olsen along the touchline, definitely a time when football was more innocent and a generation of real reds were born as we wathcing the filth pick up trophies.

  • hahah i love where strachan gets hit with summat by the corner flag and just gets on with it unlike today where a player would have jumped on the ground like someone had shot him

  • i waz at the game . and what a strike force hughes, whiteside and stapleton

  • @duxberry1958 even tho im a wednesday fan.......i loved it other night....when man u....beat man city..........fuckin ROONEY LEGEND!!!

  • Good man. I'll look out for the Owls' scores from now on. City are and have always been bitter, mate, and don't believe the crap they say that there's more city fans in Manchester. It's rubbish, pal.

  • what a legend

  • Norman Whiteside also scored the winner for Manchester Utd in the final against Everton

  • wonder fuel gas, fooking best days of my life norman = legend

  • I like fighting at football matches.

It makes me feel so manly and helps compensate for my small genitals.

Concentrate on the match itself for fucks sake you losers.

  • were man u employing a groundskeeper at the time?!

  • davidsan01 your a mug. You know nothing about the ICF so say no more!

  • The I.C.F. were and always will be a bunch of PUSSIES!

  • terrible united, bad pies, smelly men, flat beer, crushed ribs & lip blistering bovril. Best days of my life

  • @andrewshard always a great atmostphere at ot no matter what team we had

  • @andrewshard I was at this game, watching from the tunnel in the stretty, and, despite the success of the last two decades, which have been great, those days, in the 80's were when I became diehard united. And, to be fair, despite patchy success, big Ron's teams had some ace players and played good footy.

  • Gotta love the state of the pitch. They be ashamed of that in the conference these days. Those were the days.

  • Remember it like yesterday...fronting the i.c.f., before the game, all the way down chester road to the ground. All uniteds lads leaving early and then really showing the i. c.f. who was boss that day. The good old days hey?

  • 65000 manks Vs the ICF, yeah what a brave bunch of manks you were that day, I remeber you lot running away after full time, ICF still lives on, and always will.

  • A few pointers young man...58,000 crowd...the main battle was outside 5 mins before the end of the match...your B.G. asking our H.H. to call it off...and its Mancs not manks...i doubt if you were 12yrs old at the time...dont think you can call yourself an eyewitness,do you?

  • The crowd was 45,000. Your scoreboard padock was being redevolped. That proves that you were not at the game, An eighth of you ground was flat. In the 80's Man U were nothing to West Ham. Remember that September Wednesday night in 1984 Man U 1 Chelsea 1, enough said. What about Plaistow in 1981, West Ham 3 Man Utd1, 1985 Chelsea 1 Man Utd 2 your whole end ran, F.A Cup 6th round 1979 Man U vs Spurs you got murdered both games. As a Chelsea fan the only northern mob I ever rated was Middlesboro.

  • That's correct about a 46000 gate

The capacity was 52000 at the time of this match

  • You really are jackanory arent you

The mighty headhunters who never ventured any further than the kings road

We never needed a silly little, name do you remember the 70's when it was proper violence we ran the show not you cockney rentboys

You pretend to be big & hard i'll stick to the facts & the truth

    Get back to your storytime

  • Old Trafford never held 65,000 then. The ICF got done that day. Every firm has been done. Watch the ICF documentary and you can here 1 of the ICF Sreaming for them to stand. I was there just before the Match ended that was when the main trouble was. A couple of weeks Later West Ham brought 200 fans in the League, they sat in the stands and were apparently in the ground an hour before kick off. Face it even good firms get battered now and then

  • you wasnt there at full time mate you all fucked of with 15 mins to go.you have no shame u cockney bullshiters.seen your books mate 20 off you did 2000 mancs east end supermen u lying twats

  • @MASSIVEBOSS and the graffiti went up on chester rd saying 'the icf died here'

  • happy fucking days

  • One of the all time Old Trafford cup ties

  • Yeah, great video.
