  • Alan Watts - Myth and Religion - Jesus and his Religion Pt 1/6

  • so the reason the bible is a bunch of contradictory nonsense, and that there is no proof of any real jesus... is because god doesn't want our brain to "atrophy".

stephen hawking is right, "philosophy is dead".

  • @tomitstube Firstly, if you would listen to what he actually says, the bible did not come directly from "god" in a conventional sense. You've clearly missed the point he was trying to make. Allen Watts- not for the feeble of mind.

  • Check out "Strong's Concordance" to see some of the huge gaps in translation from Greek and Hebrew to English. Words like discipline are translated from a Hebrew word that "could" be translated into a dozen English words from, "Rod, pencil, staff, guide, balance, etc.". Language has complex finesse is communication, and to write information in text limits it. Translation then at this point is to water down the information and leaves it open to WIDE interpretation.

  • @3AtomicJabez8 It really doesnt leave it to wide interpretation... ill use an example from the english language, the word "sick" .. sick can mean someone is ill, or it could also mean awesome, or cool.. it could also mean gross, or vile.. the context of the sentence will put into your mind how the word is used, its the same thing with Discipline in Hebrew, the way its used in a sentence will define what the word will mean

  • @Ecclesiastical7 so the written sentence "That guy was sick." tells you what the author was saying?, now translate that sentence to Hebrew with out understanding whats it really saying,,now take that Hebrew sentence and preach it as truth. And the translated sentence "I am "the" son of God", was translated from "A" son of God", thats a very minor change and creates a huge difference in meaning.

  • @3AtomicJabez8 In the example I gave I was thinking "Spare the Rod spoil the child." ; here many take this as I need to hit my child or punish my child for wrong doing or they will be spoiled or ruined, Once I look at the Hebrew translation I hear "Teach your child the proper way by giving them a pencil and having them write it after you have demonstrated writing." or any such attitude of instruction with Balance and authority based in balance and example teaching.

  • @3AtomicJabez8 where could i learn more about this topic. do u have any references available? thanks!

  • @me25422 I used to be majorly into Bible study,,outside any church authority..I used several Bibles translations and "Strong's Exhaustive Concordance." by James Strong...Plus Alan Watts cover many of theses words through out his lectures. I found one online looking it up for you at eliyah.com

  • @3AtomicJabez8 great thanks, ihave known of Watts but feel i really only "discovered" him recently and man is he thought provoking.

  • Christianity, Islam, Judaism whatever are an insult to humanity.

  • @Watchdawg The very premises of omniscience and omnibenevolance contradict the punishment of eternal hell for sinners. At least in Buddhism souls work off bad deeds, heavy karma etc. through reincarnation. No one is ultimately damned. Islam, Christianity and Islam are childish at best, Ultimacy is a different category than Earthly; plus burning Hitler for all eternity (eternity!) makes anyone no better than him. Time to nail the coffin on those wicked belief systems.

  • @MushroomedAnymore You just don't understand what Christianity really teaches. Islam I will not speak for, considering I have no knowledge of it, but in the most polite fashion which I can present my opinion to you I will say that your interpretation of Christianities beliefs of post-earthly life's presence is contrary to the claims which your comment made

  • knowledge is wisdom and wisdom is fact. But all facts are all based on human conciseness pre-thoughts to paper! Thoughts are “normally” based on sight. So my thought. Can we trust someone else’s sight to formulate how we are “suppose” to live?

    Y R U, U? Y B U if it is based off someone else’s sight? B U 4 U!

  • Think for yourself question Authority.

  • nothing is crude, rude, right or wrong, beautiful or ugly, real or fake: only our interpretations of them are.

  • @CecilRhodesIlluminat your assumptions are ridiculous and it shows just how immature you really are. Type in all caps more... Sorry you don't agree with what he thinks, but it's no reason to attack him and make huge generalizations about large groups of people. Grow up.

  • @CecilRhodesIlluminat than don't listen to him, don't try to tell other ppl what to listen to,save yourself, let others make there own choice, you christ lovers are so uptight, and trying to do your gods work, he is allmighty lol, just prostraight and worship your god.

  • @CecilRhodesIlluminat Are you sure that your not projecting onto him, and that you have a deep hidden hatred of Christianity?

  • @CecilRhodesIlluminat hahahaha. lovely joke. Alan, Allan, Allen..must be a conspiracy. Edgar Allan Poe?..did he hate christianity?..this chap seems to be open to 'wether or not, entirely beside the point'...whereas Thee, seem to be angry. Hence the LARGE CAPS!.. funny.

  • @CecilRhodesIlluminat Yes !!! being named Allen or Graham makes a person automatically a misanthrope. God made it so on the eighth day of creation. The day when he was kicking it, having a beer, thinking to himself "wouldn't it be fun to make all the Allens and Grahams untrustworthy." Religious nut jobs rarely if ever use critical thought, you're a good example of such a person.

  • The movie Zardoz is one of the best sci fi movie's I have ever seen and it is all about a false god, a people living forver in a bubble that wish for death daily and a band of murderous oulanders who follow ZARDOZ, ( the wiZARD of OZ ) . AMAZING AMAZING MOVIE and Shawn Conniery is in some pretty funny outfits in this 1974 movie

  • Wonder why people can't just shut up and listen to wisdom, instead of immediately claiming he is wrong and that they know the "right" wisdom. If you want to keep a static mindset, maybe you should watch static information? :)

  • @MoralisticAthiest Becuase debate is what builds knowledge and fine tunes the truth of reason. Have you not taken a philosophy class with Aristotle? : )

  • @truthseeker010101 Debate is all good, but when people jump onto a video for the simple reason of saying "This video is wrong, Here let me tell you whats right" that isn't a debate. Thats one person believing they know absolute truth....and if Alan Watts has taught me anything, its that they who know, dont speak :P

  • @MoralisticAthiest I will yell it from the rooftops. I have a light and will let it shine to the whole world. Damn the pharissee who do not eat nor do they allow others to eat. Although today it is harder to "not make them hate you" and to "be known by your love" becuase of the apprihintion towards knowledge in this age.

  • The four Jesuses by Yale University at Yale Courses. He did provide us the infallible guide called the ten commmandments. We think for ourselves becuase we sin. Sin is not something to fear reprocushion for, God forgives all sin up to the heavens!

  • @truthseeker010101 What are so infallible about the ten commandments? Why aren't rape, incest etc etc part of them?

  • @warmsteel What is not infallible about the ten commandments? The commands are expanded on in over 600 commands in the Talmid. Rape and expecially incest is explained in long detail, even what to do when your on your period, or when you have a night dream. It's all there to read, but why read it when you can ask me questions that have answers and act as if your asking a unanswerable questions? Why not study it instead of being ignorant?

  • The four Jesuses by Yale University at Yale Courses. He did provide us the infallible guide called the ten commmandments. We think for ourselves becuase we sin. Sin is not something to fear reprocushion for, God forgives all sin up to the heavens! We are "the good"

  • you guys want to meet god? take some DMT ;)

  • @jeffbriggs1987

They all do every single night

  • I'd like this Alan Watts to meet with Shirley and Fred Phelps.

  • Rom you make no sense-it's matter of choice who choose what., most Atheist was believers. Think! Nobody born into a belief they're raised or guided by other people in any situation at said in their life or possibly force. God is a symbol based on a set of idea's.

  • 0:58 What a guy!!

  • NOTICE: He did care to look up this "Naughty word" in the bible.

  • @MsAntisharia Right on.

  • so then smart guy disproove god and or jesus and answer me this why can an atheist become a believer but a believer cant become an atheist GOD is real even Einstein said it and so did ur so called evoloution man !!!!!!!

  • @roman82ful i was a beliver until the age of 11 or so, then i started realising these people have no proof that there is a god and none of what they told me made sense. and just because Einstein said that there is a god doesn't mean it is ? and u can easily "disproove" god by saying that u cannot prove that there is one :p so give me proof and until you have i will know that you are wrong, missguided, and taught into your beliefs.

  • @Pilleer >.how abut >?how was the universe created, ?your body etc./ as they say you cannot recreate not even your hair. Evolution theory does not speak of RANDOM mutations eternally but rather that the usefull mutations survived*and kept going(otherwise goes to the famous example of shaking the pieces of a car till randomly after milliards of posibilities they all get to fit in the correct place)So..which is this internal wisdom that dictates to keep the right track ,towards creation/order?

  • @Pilleer u cannot disproove God by simply saying there is no God because i define God as an entity that you cannot see An intelligence that is in everything,in your body too.If u are borned but you cannot recreate noteven your little finger ,who created your body?(If you say nature...it doesnt matter-God is also nature)in any case is not you,What more proof you need ,of an EXTERNAL POWER since your OWN body is not created by you.You dont even know at least how is created ,so that we could

  • @Pilleer claim, that parents create their children and so on, since mankind who has reecently discovered how body works ,still doesnt know but a small fraction If your mind doesnt know how your body works nor the mind of your parents there is obviously another power that knows, which is not you.Coz if cells gathered to a viable form survived transmited this knowledge and continued to grow and evolve at the point you got a brain, your brain should know the function of bodys earlier simpler forms

  • @Pilleer dna s "intelligence "i simply another rute of reasoning that you did not decided it to be so (alien to brains knowledge)Then there is the question of who created or what is the primal matter before bingbang. So even if we might disagree on definition of god, there is no doubt that exists a tendency towards creation and order as opposed to chaos ,towards intelligent (self)creation of organisms from matter,./which also,is not my will to have created myself.

  • @roman82ful Well...I was raised catholic and believed in god for a long time. Then logic set in. So, question answered.

  • You all ignorant human beings. Try to analyze in ourselves what did he mean by his speech.Don't believe him, don't believe what others say, don't believe in books or what you listen, what u see , try understand yourself.......then u can see the reality, and what is right and wrong.

  • @MsAntisharia I find it odd that you're quick to call the Qu'Ran falsehood yet the book has just as much merit as the Bible. Both say that Moses spawned water out of a rock, the only difference being that the Qu'Ran called it 'seven springs'. "I just know it" doesn't cut it in terms of persuasion, you can't expect other people to believe what you say when what you say is based off of personal beliefs.

  • @MsAntisharia And you are entitled to believe that. However, the rest of us are also entitled to whole-heartedly disagree.

“Prophecy: Two bull's eyes out of a possible million” ~ Mark Twain

  • @MsAntisharia As for the "Only those who are sincere and close to God will have the truth" statement, the Qu'Ran says that too: "2:7 Allah hath sealed their hearing and their hearts, and on their eyes there is a covering. Theirs will be an awful doom.

2:8 And of mankind are some who say: We believe in Allah and the Last Day, when they believe not."

Both verses are from Surah 2, The Cow. Believing in Islam yet? If not, then you're no different from me.

  • @MsAntisharia The majority of the prophecies in Revelation are very vague. It's because of this that each generation for the past few centuries has thought that their's was the last to come. In the 50's people thought it was the end because of atomic weapons. In the 60's they thought it was because of kids shying away from parents. In the 90's it was Y2K. Here we are again with "2012". The Qu'Ran also proposes similar prophecies and claims, does that make Allah any more real? Certainly not.

  • Funny tag: Arab. Arab is not even an ethnicity or race, let alone a religion.

However, Islam, or "Muhamadaniesm" as some love to call it, is the religion that propagated amongst the Arabic speaking nomad of the peninsula.

Oh, and before anyone kills me. I am a Naturalist.

  • Religious people crucified Christ.

Religion is twisting God to fit a power-trip of a group or government. TBN is the ministry of Satan, as are most TV preachers. It's all pagan new-age bullshit.

Jesus wasn't Catholic, or Mormon, or Protestant, or Muslim. They are liars and offspring of liars. Jesus taught Truth, which is something entirely different from religion, and sets men free from religion and death. That's why the Jews wanted Him crucified, because He taught to love infidels as equals.

  • @Grimblix

Jesus told people that he is son of God(or one part of god?), and was killed for being a retard. Got what he deserved.

  • Contemplation of the Divine is what separates man from monkeys and other animals. The fact that mankind can imagine Divinity is proof of Divinity.

Man cannot imagine that which does not exist. If this is not true, then man is indeed part of the Creator, having the power of Creation in their minds. Either way, God is proven, and corrupt man is put to shame.

True fools deny God. They are like those who stand on the tracks yelling "where is your train?" until it smashes them into pulp.

  • Here is the Path to the Secret Knowledge of God, the final and true PROOF and EVIDENCE that everything in the Bible is Truth. Look at the books on my profile, read them, study them. Ignore the 3 listed which have nothing to do with Alchemy,

for Alchemy is the Holy Art of Paradise, and the Secret of Creation.

The White Stone of Alchemy IS the White Stone of Revelation 2.

This is the Living Word of God, the Holy Spirit which Brooded over the Waters.

This is the Refreshing, and Elixir Vitae.

  • religion sucks. anyone who believes in it is foolish...

  • @candiceevans1 Every generation thinks that they're living in the end days. This is due to the fact that Revelation is very vague in it's description of the calling cards to the end of the earth, which leaves the actual time of the apocalypse to be vague as well. People in the 50's thought they were in end days because of growing atomic technology, people of the 90's thought that they were in the end days because they didn't understand how computers tell time, and here we are again with 2012.

  • @Mystrymeat And the first generation believed that Jesus came back in their time in a spiritual manner. Eschatology is the study on that. It's more interesting then the mess of these futurists.

  • @anogoodninja I suppose, but then again just about everything interests me more or less.

  • @Mystrymeat you should check out preterism if you haven't yet. I just discovered it, and it seems to have a stronger historical background, so its worth a look. I wish I could say I have debunked it. But I haven't found much evidence against it.

  • @anogoodninja You mean, aside from the fact that several prophecies still have yet to be fulfilled (according to Revelation). If the rapture already occured then that means Jesus sat upon his throne, we had 1000 years of peace (which never happened), and Satan came back for round 2 only to be smacked down for good (which also didn't happen) resulting in a glorious kingdom of God being established until God makes his final judgement (which I highly doubt). There's plenty of evidence against it.

  • Once someone is set in a spiritual belief they have a hard time listening to any criticism about it. What kind of healthy, growth-oriented philosophical system does not set any margin aside for criticism? I would like to see more people examine the circumstances that dictate an individual's convictions before they speak on behalf of humanity. There is no one right way to doing the dishes.

  • ...Anything goes. Why the apathy? Because the delusion that life ends at death, or the myth of regeneration or coming to nirvana, a purposelessness; feeling to obtain! that imagining rogue warriors of each culture, maybe Roman or Greek, like today's billionaires are just fighting to stay alive, competing for rank to be physical temporarily judged. See, judgement is demanded. "JUDGE ME, PLEASE" Judgement now not later. Man can take entertainment....God can only take obedience and faith.

  • The love seen in human nature is conditional. Think of the woman whose teenagers wouldn't listen and being rambunctious to the point she went mad and in the heat of the moment slaughtered her two children. A father who loves his 5-year old dearly but watched the news after a long day and shrugs away a new picture drawn in crayon of the family. God always loves, God is love, His justice is perfect, Men go to Hell because God honors their choice, their hedonism, relativity, pluralism, liberalism.

  • @Candiceevans Intriguing debate. Listen, if you think Christianity is true and you need to see some evidence you have weak faith. If you have heard some news that seems to make 100% logical sense for the claim of Christ and you have to trust your ears you are nuts. If you have to feel the cuts in His hands to know His resurrection, your faith is lacking. Focus is always diverted somewhere, the senses change , it is through super natural power that man can accept Christ and know Him intimately.

  • the beast cries beast, the damners are truly the damned. you can see it, step by step. whatever you focus your consciousness on manifests. these "christians" bit by bit lose sight of the fundamentals of christianity and spew hatred. they're buying into the very thing they warn others about. jesus would have had a great chat with watts.

  • <3

  • screw watts and the person who made the video!your nation is destroyed you filthy worthless ,perverts deserve what you get!our fathers knew god !and look at you now !you people are pathetic!

  • @jonathanmoreno1000 Just as Jesus would have said himself!

  • does he have a book on this? i would love to get it for my parents.

  • @NoveltyNetwork why dummie !you and your parents will rot in a fema camp!enjoy your stay .oh yea dont cry to god!

  • This page is not the place for such a discussion, but I will finally say this - If you are familiar with the famous story of how Joseph Smith completely misrepresented and mis'translated' certain Egyptian texts to suit the Mormon agenda in the Book of Mormon (Proven fact), then perhaps you might comprehend how the very same thing happened with the book of Genesis. Why not actually research the Ancient Sumerian texts from THEIR perspective and not yours, and open your mind for goodness' sake.

  • @ThEmIdNiGhTiNtRuDeR ...I would ask you to open your mind as well. Watts is an accomplished occult salesman/guru but not much of a researcher. Lilith is making a big comeback in modern society...wouldn't you agree? I agree with you about Joseph Smith another occulist.

  • @ThEmIdNiGhTiNtRuDeR This reminds me of that old saying "Once you understand why you don't believe in other religions, you'll understand why I don't believe in yours".

  • @Mystrymeat - Indeed.

  • @Mystrymeat - "I contend we are both atheists, I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours."

    ~ Stephen F Roberts

  • @Mystrymeat Try not believing in your ego! The voices in your head!

  • @ThEmIdNiGhTiNtRuDeR please give me a link to the ancient sumerian texts? Only 3 people on earth can translate them. Who is to say thier not lying. Zacheria Sitchin lied, or did he?

  • @truthseeker010101 I don't have a specific link to the texts, I have just read bits & pieces of them over the years from various sources. I think there may be a few more than 3 people who can translate them, but basically you're right, very few people are able to. The interesting thing is that each person so far who has translated them has had a slightly different interpretation, but the over-arching theme has always been the same. I think Sitchin made a few mistakes but he got a lot right too.

  • @ThEmIdNiGhTiNtRuDeR I googled "the sumerian texts" and several very good links are there. I might read them later.

  • @ThEmIdNiGhTiNtRuDeR hay man soz if stupid question but where can i find the ancient sumerian texts? what site is best?

  • @Roonoon2 Hello. I found the The lost book of Enki a good place to start. If you're able to read pdf files on your computer then google - 'The lost book of Enki PDF' It may not look much at the start but bear with it and it gets into the tablet translations after the intro sections. If PDF doesn't work you need to download free adobe reader but otherwise google the same search term and the 4th link down should be a 'Scribd' version. It's a shorter version but main details are there. Regards.

  • Today I gave a presentation about evolution to my class. The powerpoint went horrible. People interrupted me, opinions were blurted out, despite the rudeness, but I went on with my presentation, ignoring them. I don't get bothered words anymore, because I love people, and I love life. People will continue to be ignorant, people will continue to believe in God and their eternal reward in heaven, but they will never live life, and they will never hear what I want to say to them.

  • @JinxOz ...What makes you believe that your words are more important than what Jesus had to say? What makes you believe that those who believe the Bible are somehow missing out?

  • @vachief Stop trying to convert people and bully them with your beliefs. It is your choice to believe what you believe, fair enough, but speaking to people on here as though you are morally superior is hardly model Christian behaviour is it?. Unfortunately, many Christians seem to have a warped view about what that really means.

  • @ThEmIdNiGhTiNtRuDeR ...If you don't want to believe that is fine with me...missrepresentation on the other hand will not be tolerated.

  • @vachief Fine by me. Stop misrepresenting your religion then, one supposedly of tolerance by the way.

  • @vachief Also, anything you quote from Genesis is redundant from a Christian point of view as it is common knowledge by now, that those stories come from the much earlier Sumerian Tablets of Creation. We're talking thousands of years before Christ - at around the date that the 'Creationists' think the world began. Incidentally, the 'gods' of the Sumerian texts which Genesis hijacked bear absolutely no resemblence to the completely invented God of Christian belief. Just so you know.

  • @ThEmIdNiGhTiNtRuDeR ..The people who first occupied Mesopatamia of which Sumeria is part of ...was Noah and his family. Nimrod was Noahs grandson and established the city of Babylon. Additionally after God confounded the languages the people took off in all directions. The Egyptians are decendents of Ham as recorded in the book of Genisis. Yours is an alternate and incorrect form of world history.

  • @vachief Clearly your only tool of learning is the Bible, which is a pity really, but it is your choice. We have a thing called science now vachief, and as fallible as it also is, nonetheless it allows us to paint a picture of the world which at least begins to make sense. There is no 'God' in the Sumerian texts, who were - I say again - the originators of these concepts. The story as you believe it is the later, manipulated and distorted version of the stories. Sorry to break this truth to you.

  • @ThEmIdNiGhTiNtRuDeR ...If there was no God in the Sumerian text...then how did Genisis "hijack" it.....as you said earlier? Noah brought the story of a coming Messiah, to the new world, that is where the Sumerians changed the story a little more to thier liking. The also made images to the pagan divine feminine. So far all the archeology authenticates the biblical texts...and not a single example refutes it. History doesn't lie.

  • Christianity wasnt the first religion you know. There thousand of religion and they all are bullshit

  • I'll take it... thank u 4 u Watts! Ur my hero...!

  • @kendrawhisp If I was god I would just will myself to never be bored. It wouldn't ever be an issue.

  • God created the universe ,not the universe God , we have enough to think about in the bible Honestly this Alan Watts is totally messed up , in his thinking in his opinions they are twisted Jesus christ is God he sounds so educated but his opinions are a mess

  • @kevinscholes The religion that you believe in what taught to you by another human being.

Did god tell you how to live or did man write a book to tell you how to live?

You simply cannot look beyond your religion to see what others are speaking. Oh well.

  • @anythingwilldo92 The irrationalists (christians) will never be free thinkers. They are scared to ask questions because their egos will not let them. Their religion is based on fear. They are not able to rid themselves of their neurological disorder. It is not their fault, like you said, it is their upbringing. Someone taught them to believe, and they did. Hopefully one day religion will come to an end and then we can truly all live in peace.

  • @skippermullet69 ..Watts is full of crap...he thinks he's smarter than Jesus. lol That's what drugs do to people.

  • @vachief ???

  • @davidfsnyder ..Is there a question?

  • @vachief why do you think Watts is smarter than Jesus?

  • @davidfsnyder ..I don't...I was just makeing a joke. The Bible is an anvil that has worn out a lot of hammers....including Watts. The rise of the drug movement has produced an ever growing number of people that would believe just about anything...rather than consider that Jesus was telling the truth.

  • @vachief Hmmm. The truth that can be said is not the real truth. The real Jesus never existed, only (possibly) a reasonable but imperfect facsimile. He didn't tell the truth, because the truth that can be spoken is not the truth. But the story of Jesus does place signposts for the sincere seeker of God. The Bible, bleah. Other than the parables about Jesus and the parables "he told", it's filled with errors and misapprehensions. Jesus can straighten it all out for you, along the razor's edge.

  • @davidfsnyder ..Yeah...it's important to the New Age drug cults to claim that Jesus was a liar. That is the same arguement that Lucifer used on Eve in the garden. "Hear ...eat this...you won't really die...and you can be just like God"....and because they believed him (the father of lies) ...they died.

  • @vachief lol everybody dies

  • @STEEEVVYZ ..The Holy Bible says that there are in fact...2 deaths...The first death is just a temporary thing that Jesus refered to as "sleep". The 2nd death is permanant. Likewise there are 2 resurections....the first for the just....the 2nd for the unjust. Adam an Eve did not have to die, but there immortality was contingent on thier willingness to obey thier creator. That gift is being offered today.

  • @vachief Why would God place a 'Big Red Button' such as a Tree that grants Knowledge of Good and Evil in Paradise? Why would He place a cunning, and manipulative creature such as the Serpent within His Paradise? Why would He release this creature in to the same Paradise as His children, so they could be tricked?

If predetermination has any validity, it could be said that God knew that would all happen before anything existed, yet he still allowed the circumstances to occur.

    It's all ridiculous

  • @HylianSpirit ...It would appear that Lucifers rebellion started after Adam & Eve were created. God doesn't create robots, but creatures with the free will to choose. Sin is a terrible thing and in order to demonstrate that point to the rest of the universe, God allowed Lucifer and the many that he corrupted to take up residence on the earth. It's as if God is saying...look see what happens when sin is allowed to run it's natural course. It is an amazing story...and we are all players, in it.

  • @vachief WOULD YOU AGREE THAT WE ARE NOT IN THE GARDEN.......... WHY-R-WE-NOT ??? R - WE PAYING THE PRICE OF SOME-ONE-ELSE'S , SIN??? DO YOU THINK WE WERE SET-UP??? IF WE ARE BEING PUNISHED FOR PAR-TAKING, OF THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE... WE BETTER GET AS MUCH AS WE CAN... WHODO2008@YAHOO.COM

  • @whodo2008 ..Sin is a disease.....we all have it. It was passed to us from Adam & Eve. Lucifer brought sin to this world, that is were it came from. Jesus had to die, so that those of us who believe him, will be saved. Lucifer/Satan is using drugs to confuse mankind into believing a lie. It was the first lie ever told..." Go ahead and eat it ...you won't die...and you can be just like God." Adam & Eve believed Lucifer rather than God...and they died. Stay away from drugs.

  • @vachief You will never learn. I am on the other side of the planet or a few blocks down your street, either way, you will never know who I am, so all I want to say to you is that I appreciate you, appreciate your life, though I will never meet you, I acknowledge your presence (through Youtube), and I want to share a point of view which I enjoy and creates happiness in my life, and I want you to have that too, but I know you will reject, not the concept, but the truth of it, and that is why I ap

  • @vachief (continued comment)... and that is why I appreciate you.

  • @JinxOz ..Thanks buddy...I think I have a relevant message for todays world.

  • Comment removed

  • @vachief, you do not have the authority to represent humanity through your assumptions of sins as diseases that we all posses. Do not make claims that you are the saved because if there is a God, God does not favor you, God accepts everyone no matter what they believe in, Latin, Asian, African, Russian. THAT, is true infinite love. YOU have a disease, please dont represent anyone who isnt you as sinners, you are committing a personal and insidious crime against altruism.

  • @joey4921 ..My authority is given by He who created me. Yes I do have a disease...it is called sin, everyone else on the planet has it as well. Pilate asked Jesus.."What is truth?" but he didn't wait for the answer. If you want to know what God thinks...read his book. Alan Watts would have you believe that the sprits that lurk in drugs represent God, when in fact they represent the god of this world, who looks forward to the death of mankind.

  • @vachief Who is god proving this point to? Who does he need to show 'what happens when sin is allowed to run it's natural course?' This is an absurd hypocrisy - he created man, loves man, but needs to prove to man man's flaws by punishing him? No doubt life, reality, and the cosmos is a truly miraculous phenomenon. Why do humans feel the need to quantify, qualify, and compare? Why is it so difficult to appreciate life in the moment without speculating on the cause, unknown, or 'creator?'

  • @nealholdenjuju ...You have touched on an area of the Bible that is rarely spoken of anymore, namely how did things get this way and the war that started in heaven. God is on trial, and who shall prevail? The rebel forces of Satan and his followers who accuse God of being unjust or the loyal followers of God who see his ways as righteous? The Bible is a much more interesting book than many give it credit for, according to the Book of Romans each human being is called, some react, some don't.

  • @nealholdenjuju "Why do humans feel the need to quantify, qualify, and compare?"

Because of the mind control method called academic psyence, it demands quantifying, qualifying and comparing the effects of motion instead of "knowing" their causes. We have all been brainwashed with this system via schools and the idiot box and other forms of media, which benefits the few people running this hell hole racket.

The Creator is not a He, the Creator is formless and sexless and does not punish!

  • @HylianSpirit WHO WAS THE TRUTH-SAYER, IN THE GARDEN-OF-EDEN ? AND WHO WAS NOT-SO-TRUTHFUL ... JUST GOING OFF OF THE FACTS.. WHODO2008@YAHOO.COM

  • @skippermullet69 I think they probably can be free thinkers. They just have to look at what actually proves the divinity of Jesus. Jesus was human, and was a great teacher of fundamental human values. If we all actually loved each other, things would look quite different on this planet. His teachings were great, however, his need to invoke God for his point was either a tactical approach to give credibility to his teachings, or he was simply a wise man with a human exceptionality complex.

  • @skippermullet69 very well spoken...12 out of 10

  • @skippermullet69 What difference does it make to you? Why do you hate? What do you gain? What do you lose?

  • @skippermullet69 On the contrary it is the pride/arrogance that keeps the god of this world (satan) blinding people from seeing the relevance Christ and HIS GOOD NEWS of forgiveness, the Love of God & the Grace of God.

  • @ColonialPetersen Satan owns this world you say? [Josh 2:11] [Josh 3:13] [1 Chron 16:14] [Psalm 47:7] [Acts 17:24]

  • @skippermullet69 you don't get it. Alan Watts was himself a Christian priest and while a lot of Christians believe for irrational and stupid reasons, it is not an irrational religion, neither is religion in general irrational. I am not a Christian and I was raised by my parents as an atheist, but if you think that Christianity is irrational, then you haven't been thinking hard enough. for you to go around youtube finding videos about christianity and bashing it, you must be in doubt/insecure

  • @skippermullet69

Isn't it "closed-minded" to label people that think differently than you as "close-minded"? After asking many questions, I found Christianity to indeed be truth. Search for God, and He will be found: Matthew 7:7

  • @kkflyguy87

I searched for God... but the damn God refused to show himself!

  • @DeadlyDreamerX

"You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart." -Jeremiah 29:13

If you're truly seeking God, read the Gospel of John; and each day, as you go through it, pray to God:" Lord, I want to know You, help my unbelief."

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. -Matthew 7:7-8

  • @kkflyguy87

He doesn't exist, to begin with. Seeking the help from false non-existing deity is called madness. Reading the book again and again will not help anyone.

  • @skippermullet69 This is your opinion. I am not personally a Christian, but to make blanket statements in judgement of millions of people is just plain ignorant on your part. It does not take the end of religion to have peace, and it the absence of religion does not necessarily mean peace will magically happen. The concept of peaceful coexistence should be applied to all philosophies, spirituality, politics and all other forms of opinion. To take an antagonistic stance is wrong.

  • REALITY STATE THING TO BE ABSOLUTES TRUTHS NOT DUALISTIC LIKE GOOD AND BAD THE PURE CODE OF REALITY AND GOD 1. ANYTHING THAT IS NOT TRUE COVER OVER REALITY AND 2. BRAKES THE BONDS OF LOVE . THERE ARE 3 SINS SHOULD BE ADD ALL GOVERNMENTS ALL RELIGIONS USE TO CONTROL PEOPLE WITH PRESTIGIOUS,ALL BELIEFS ,AND FANTASY PEOPLE ARE PEOPLE WITH FEELING AND NECESSITY NOT GOOD OR BAD .WITH PROBLEMS OR STRENGTHS OR BOUGHT . THEY CHANGE PEOPLE IN TO A BELIEF TO ENSLAVE YOU AND TOO KILL AN STEEL

  • Alan Watts - Myth and Religion - Jesus and his Religion Pt 1/6

  • Watts is the man :)

  • Jesus wrote A Course In Miracles.

  • Psychic-psycho-sex-for-your-soul-parasites, I always say... with excuses to be pedophiles, on top of it all... And Bible-Thumpers they are too, raping their own children for nothing but jealousy, and hate. These humans think 'anything goes,' and they can get away with rape and theft of soul and murder of another's birthright to experience life without someone's hate, disrespect, and interference to their private body and person-hood.

  • @lotusalivelight true but thing is a lot of them are educated to belive they are right, so you have to break that, now tell me how couple of billion crazy people can be broken?

  • @mikevern69 Well, mikevern69... You know people are hard-headed & closed-minded, because of a 2,000 year old SYSTEM of it... But 'Nature' Itself may decide to BREAK that 'system.' Visit my channel and see the headliner vid on 'Rainbow Serpent,' pure, unconditional Love, AS LIGHT, that makes 3D 'things.' If ONLY humans would EMULATE unconditional love, they WOULD receive it. :)

  • @lotusalivelight yes thats all well and good but when you dont have love how can you relate to what it is........? there are many who feel love is weakness...who educated us to belive that...do you remember?

  • @AnnePrank This is why people dont like religion. Zen philosphers dont spread this kind of hate. So when you say, as you lot often do this kind of talk is evil it has absoloutely no basis. It is your world view that has given us the crusades and the holocaust.

  • @AnnePrank just to be honest, You should really look things up before you say something like that. Egyptians were polytheistic, Jews had the first monotheistic religion. Egyptians believed every Pharaoh was a God, they even worshiped the Nile as a God. Ra, or Amon- Ra was only the Sun God. I mean they even had to pass "judgment" from Osiris, an Egyptian God,/ ruler of the dead. Other Gods/ Goddesses are Horus, Seth, or Set, Hathor, Isis, Anubis, and Thoth. Look things up next time...

  • You are quit wrong about Jesus and whole Scripture. But you are right to question traditions themselves. I hope you can eat enough of the sacrament to move beyond scientific god self and find the the godly servant self...

Please don't take this as a small fish vision...

  • @Matthalamew it is a "small fish vision"

  • @AnnePrank woof woof

  • @AnnePrank I see. Your attitude certainly reflects your heart. I will pray that YHWH takes all of that hate out of your heart. God Bless!!!

  • @AnnePrank the term "wandering merchants" has nothing to do with chronology. The Caananites predated the Egyptians.Period. They were also polytheists. Where do you get your history?

  • @AnnePrank one problem with that theory-- the Caananites predated all of your examples. Don't worry, you are not he only anti-semite on youtube. Shalom-- Keep the Commandments of YHWH and hold to the testimony of Y'Shua

  • @AnnePrank your ignorance is remarkable
