  • Very beautiful Arioso, one of the best I've heard. I don't think it's too slow at all as many think.

  • @hopeforthesilentplanet (:

  • why is my auto play not working

  • he makes a mistake at 3:18

  • @funper of course, but, is that important?

  • @majark4 it happens to the best of pianists, that's what i want to say

  • @funper it didn't happen to Michelangeli, but it doesn't mean he is better because of this.

  • Richter plays every romantic piece slowly.

I'm not against this: I believe that tempo varies to what you might be used to and that enjoying a certain piece involves getting in tune with the tempo it's being played at. Obviously there are limits on that.

Personally, I'd prefer this one to go a bit faster.

  • @hellomate639 romantic?

  • Absolutely stunning. Probably the slowest I've ever heard it, even slower than in his recital for Dietrich, but he makes it work somehow.

  • OMG!!!

    Richter is playing as genius!

  • Quite slow - loses momentum really.

  • Rather the modern world is too fast.
