So my mother in-law is very critical and not supportive. She is mad because I am a stay at home mom for now. She always puts me down and never encourages me. I have always been respectful but I have found that she will not change. She sent my kids pictures back to me and said if it were not for them I would be working. So now I barely visit her and only see her when I have to. Is this wrong....this has been going on for 14 years!
Please help me. What if a secondary family member has lied to and about, stolen from, used, and seriously mistreated you and other members of your immediate family? You've already tried to talk to them about the problem to no avail. It's like it went in one ear and out the other, and they still continue doing the same things. :(

@transitionalphase Forgive them, and love them but keep a safe distance.
Pray for them, and maybe send a letter to show no ill feelings, but keep safe.
