Sammy Hagar knew his place in Van Halen. David THOUGHT he was Van Halen. Plus the band was so much happier during the Hagar years anyway. I mean i like songs from both eras ya know. A real fan appreciates both singers. Im just not that big a fan of DLR. Sammy brought something new to the band and introduced them to new fans.
