Nintendo Wii Boxing: How to Hook, Uppercut, Jab, Dodge

i've been taking taekwondo for three years and here's a little advice: NEVER EVER THROW A HOOK.

when your dodging you can also lean back. whicj is good for when they throw a hook or upper cut to your head.

The slow motion is a counter oppertunity.

Essentially, you dodge at the correct moment in a way such that you can still throw a punch.

Not that oyu have to throw the punch mind you.

Regardless, the hook and uppercuts should have been explained. I knew the uppercut, but the hook was annoying. thanks for the help.

Thanks a lot of demonstrating all the punches. It's been extremely helpful. Funny, though, I'm finding it easier to do uppercuts than the hooks. Perhaps I still have to perfect the timing, but I'll be sure to practice and get the exercise down.

Thanks, your video was extremly helpful. I was having alot of difficulties with the hook punch. I was getting very frustrated because I could not get it to execute properly. Also I could never really link it with a couple straight punches. Thanks for explaining what should have been explained in the tutorial when you have your first match in boxing. thanks a bunch!

cool video, I was having some trouble getting it to consistantly uppercut.

Thanks. Yeah, the uppercut is the hardest to land well. It works best if you can set it up by dodging your opponent's punch first, triggering the slow-motion effect, then throwing the uppercut.

I didn't have a clue how to uppercut. Now once and a while I land it and other times I get clocked.
