Totally agree! The melody is very catchy and the three combine their voices to produce that magical 3part harmony that made them the legends they are.For me though it's Robin singing the chorus that adds the sparkle and glitz to this track.His voice has that unique and haunting sound to it,and in my view he is one of the greatest male vocalists of all time.

Yes, son, that "guy" is Robin Gibb, he IS a beast (compliment), and so are his brothers Barry and Maurice. Mo is no longer with us on earth, but his voice lives on forever...pray for Robin.

OK, we were hard during the disco era when we aging rockers didn't do disco & some radio stations bragged no BGs. well we were WRONG. Anyways I was still listening in the closet,why?because BG music is purely good. This song "Alone" I had heard bits and snips thur the years but never able to identify it. Wedsday's Bio Channel on the BGs and I ID'd it as "alone",looked it up on YouTube (thnx ferninandus4) and haven't stopped hearing it since. They are a national treasure. BGs Rule!!!!!

He uses open chords on the guitar because he can't close his fingers. At about .45 sec check out Maurice stepping back, looking at Barry, checking to see if he's OK, then taking over the guitar. These guys sang in chords, and you need three notes to make a chord, so they are not really the Bee Gees without Maurice. They are an amazing talent, because they started singing together as children, and learned the skill at such an early age. They make it seem effortless, like children, yet it is hardly practiced by any other group, because it is extremely difficult to master. They were definitely blessed throughout their lives, and they knew and appreciated their special gift of singing.
