Actually, scrap my last comment. I read somewhere that the OLED screen the Zune HD has is not backlit, so the lighting comes from diodes somewhere (for the text, etc.).

Having a background of many colors would be a big drain on these, as they currently sit at the simple, power-efficient "black", only alternating to white to create words.

I will just have to see porn only when I unlock my Zune's screen ;)

Dude you don't have to put your finger all the way to the edge of the screen and then flick to turn the image. That's why it kept going into the menu and doing random things. Just do a little flick in the middle of the screen.
