  • This is a good video b/c the water isn't too deep that thier feet can't touch the bottom of the tub its shallow enough for them to chill out and not have to swim the whole time.

  • Look at him go! I gotta get my bearded in the tub to see if he likes swimmin :)

  • how do you make them swim, what age can they start, and how deep do you have it? thanks :D

  • oh thats cool i gotta have one ^^ bearded dragons are awsome

  • i want 1 so bad but i dont know here to find them and how much they usually run for?

is one of them sticking its head in the water?

  • @TheJoey34 you can pick babies up for like £30 now, amazing how fast they went down now their getting mor popular :(

  • @TheJoey34 Well a good place to start is the reptile expos, or online, but if you really must look for an exotic pet store. Getting from a breeder is better but, They can be around 30- 60$

  • What sort of water temperature do u need? cold, war or hot? :o

I might be getting a bearded dragon soon there really cool!

  • that water is not hot enough becuase they r turning black

  • @GrungeMetalChild I thought they turn darker to the amount of heat exposure

  • @DPTS23 the more stressed they are the darker they get :)

  • mine swim then relaxe and look dead but there fine

  • Nice video , one of them even seems to like actual swimming ! if i had a bath tub i would give it a try with my dragons :)

  • Mine didn't like to be in the water but loved when i took some water in my hand and puted it on his back and head. He likes to be wet but not to be in water <.< =D

  • and it help them to shred their skin

  • water should be luke warm

  • ya how hot is it

  • you jerk

  • What are you talking about they're supposed to be given baths!

  • how hot is the water u use?(;

  • um one question can bearded dragons actuelly swim

  • not like dogs or igguanas, but thats why theres barely any water dude lol

  • @SimpsonsDude2409 yes they can swim

  • i only got my dragon today and he tryed the bath he loved it thanks for showing its safe.

  • how big should they be before you start bathing them?

  • it doesnt really matter as long as u use the right amount of water, but ur not gunna bathe a hatchling. to be safe wait til theyre about 6"-9" at the smallest.

  • Mine swims like that too.. It's so cute

  • how often should beardies take a bath?

  • at least once a week...but I'd say 3 max. Just as long as you get it in there once in awhile :3

  • lol mine hates water hes like WTF ARE U DOING!!

  • My BF's does too xDDDD She looks as if its punishment for no reason xDDD

  • lol mines like demented when ever i try to pick him up he hisses like a monster and he doesnt hisss until i get him off the ground lol

  • that is what snAKES LOOK like when they swim

  • wow coo

  • Hahahaha

  • mine just tries to run and splashes water every where

  • nice dragons mate......they look happy n well .ive just bought 2 there great pets!

  • Mine hates bath time, she'll stand about try and escape, have a shit and then i take her out.

She doesn't like them at all D:

  • haha awesome man, that beardy is doing the techniques of a water dragon, never seen one swim like that, all my fellas, they puff themselves into a bubble and do a freestyle like motion, but my water dragons swim like ur beardie, however much faster :)

  • 90degrees farenheit for a baby 100 for an adult

  • Quistion what temp do you put your dragons in for a bath cause im geting one soon and i dont want to put it to cold or to hot or anything so how dose the water fill to the touch

  • i think room temp, but im not so sure

  • do room temperature thats what my bearded dragon iggy drinks and i have a book on bearded dragons that says clean them in room temerature water and feed them room temperature water.

  • If any person here has seen the new version of godzilla it is freakish how much it looks the same when they swim

  • ya i no eh

  • Whoa he is under the water :)

  • when i put my dragon in the bath, he just stands there ??? not amused, lol

  • i didnt even know that bearded dragons could swim

  • either dass a really small tub or those are huge dragonz lol

  • iv heard that beard dragons need to get a bath everyday. or at least get showered. is that true?

  • misted, but not everyday. bathing is usually used to promote a bowel movement, or a drink. but misting on the face may be done daily if your dragon laps it up.

they live in very dry environments, bathing them often can have negative affects.

  • wat tempature should the water be at when they go swimming

  • The tempature should be around 100 to 105. They can get mites and bathing them is a good way to get rid of the mites.

  • wtf 105degree water? o.O wouldnt that cook em haha

  • farenheit not celsius

  • haha bearded stew (not tht i like the idea =(

  • hey you copied mellisad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hey your a bitch!!!!!!!!!!!

  • but most of them time because the water is 25.C he needs to poo poo

  • my beardy likes to swim to

  • thanks! hope u rated it (;

  • It is so unusual for bearded dragons to actually swim. They usually just chill in the water or try to completely get out. Not a bad video.

  • the water should be around there body temperature. so if the tank is 35 degrees celcius you should go between 35 and 40 degrees. but take in account that bath water cools down very fast because the tub itself will be very cool and you're not putting in alot of water.

and Liior you should get 1 of each sex or two females why experiment on two males when its already been tried and often gone wrong

  • have it no hotter than u would for a baby, ask any mother how they would test the water for bathing an infant

  • wat heat shud da water be?

  • man i like ur two bds ive been planin on gettin one for like 2 years but havent had the time to take care of em man i wish i were u

  • That is too cute! Mine love to swim, it's so fun to see! I have two beardie sisters that have been housed together since they hatched and get along wonderfully. It's nice to see/hear that males can potentially get along too.

  • yea, i picked my 2 from a clutch of about 15 hatchlings and it just happened they where 2 males. it would av been nice if it were 1 of each (:

  • yours is an awesome swimmer mine goes around in circles lol

  • looks like they are lovin it

  • wow, well its good nothing bad has happened. I keep hearing all the time how bad it is to have 2 adult male dragons housed in the same enclosure, cuz they are territorial animals.

  • do you have seperate terraiums for them, or do they stay together? and how old are they?

  • they are just over 18 months old and they have grown up in the same 'vivarium'

  • Whats the sex of those two? I have one beardy now, but i want to get a second one. I heard two males aren't good to get cuz they can fight. So i want to have one male and two females. The ones you have are probally different sexes, other wise they'll fight right?

  • well, this topic seems 2 stir up some controversy. why not take a look at my other vidz + comments n see 4 urself. they are 2 males tho jus 4 ur information

  • it actually holds its breath when it goes under, and when it rests, it's actually inflated(puffed out)and is floating!

  • yeah, i was shocked myself and happy for him as he is the lesser dominant of the 2, but not when their in the 'pool'!

  • My Bearded doesnt like to take a bath. He just sits there and today he climbed up my arm and looked sad. I wish he swam like yours it looks cool :)

  • u wanna have it warm but not hot, test it with ur elbow, and have the water up to the bd's shoulders, so it can keep its head out of the water, easy

  • lol i love the ways bds swim!

  • i want to do this. how deep and about how hot?

  • i tryed this and my beardy puffed at me

  • cool, my bearded dragon likes to swim, but I never thought that bearded dragons would be so good at it, well, at least most of them, my friends just sort of floats with his head above the water, living in deserts and all I thought they would be pretty bad at it, and ishish, I just so happen to have an albino leopard gecko as well and they can swim, but not as well as bearded dragons, but you should probably just see how they react to the water, if they don't like it you shouldn't force them too

  • i didnt thinl it would be such a good swimmer. Its not like it would do a lot of swimming naturaly...

  • hey i have 2 leo geckos, do u think they'd enjoy swimming, is it a good idea to let them?

  • no they wouldnt they only like to drink it lol its not a good idea

  • it looks creepy when it swims

  • Nice. I put my Beardies in the tub to soak too. My female swims underwater just like your BD, but my male won't swim, he just chills like he thinks he's too cool to swim. LOL

  • Cool:)
